Excellent quality product, after the initial long wait between placing the order and receipt, they arrived well packaged.
Just a bit confused about Hill and Dale's special offers. The same pair of Meindl shoes are now dearer than when I bought mine, even though there is a special Bank Holiday sale on, apparantly.

Poor communication
2 weeks since I ordered easily the most expensive pair of shoes I've ever ordered. Not a single update since and no response to support email. A few more days and I will see if I can do a card chargeback to get my money back
Edit: received item eventually and they have acknowledged poor communication

On line purchase of Mendl walking boots.
Bought Mendl walking boots from Hill and Dale on-line as they had a large choice (none of the local retailers i visited had more than a few pairs in). They were at a really good price and delivered promptly. No worries if a fit issue ( fit was spot on though) as returns accepted just returm postage to pay.
