Only hassle was the limited parking when picking up and dropping off.

The welcoming was great and given the right choice of the car I need, well done.

I was slightly confused when booking as I got email responses from two company names, but after a straight forward call I was happy, and they were very obliging and honoured the cheapest quote. This is my only reason for not giving a 5 star rating.

Great, economical little car. When i decided to extend the chat facility on the website gave me easy access to the office at Green motion. The process was simple, fast and friendly, nice one, see you next time.

We had inadvertently arranged pickup about 20 minutes away from the airport but the staff arranged for the car to be brought to us.

I chose to go through hire cars as they had the cheapest price on my requirements. Easy transactions and easy to check booking. Overall fab service and all communicated to the actual car hire company (europcar)

When I went to pick my car up at Alamo at Amtrak Philadelphia USA I found that my UK licence had expired just days before. Ooops!
I rang HireCars help no and they quickly emailed me a new rental voucher in my wifes name so that we could continue our journey on her licence. Resolved very quickly and efficiently and got me out of a fix. Thank you, and Alamo were excellent as well, explaining clearly what I needed to do and helping me get moving as quickly as possible.
Add that to great price and a free upgrade when I picked the car up it was a good experience.

Had the best price on a one way rental with no excessive return costs which was the main reason I used this site. However I nearly gave up because of the website being so clunky and difficult. Every time I thought I had a confirmed booking it would send me an email to the contrary! The rental car we chose through Alamo was awesome as were the stuff when we got to the USA. Thank you

had to wait in queue for around 40 minutes to be seen to collect car,most,if not all the questions could have been supplied online prior to collection.All they seemed to be bothered about was selling us extra insurance,which most people had bought in UK for a third of your price.Nobody checked the car with me,for scratches,damage etc, and there were several,of which we took pictures.Then upon returning the car,much confusion,waited in queue to return car,got to front,and was told to go back out and wait for car to be checked over and then return to office,surely someone should be waiting outside the office to greet people,and explain the procedure of car return,and once the car has been checked over,then be invited into the office to complete.Then when finally in office,the chap there,who was dealing with me,was also answering phones,shouting at other workers,and talking to other customers whilst completing our contract,i asked about the holding deposit,or rather its return,his reply,its done final contract,no charge !

Having tried a few different on-line suppliers, Hirecars offered the cheapest options. I had a free-upgrade car, plus the company (Enterprise in Exeter) also picked me up from and dropped me back off at the railway station. Excellent service.

Great service from the start. Met at Airport by very nice staff. The full experience from start to end was fault less and a very good value brand new vehicle to boot.

Booking was straightforward. The rental company at Lisa airport took some while to find as it was operated by another company. A bit irritating to have to pay for having the car cleaned. Overall the staff were helpful a day polite.

easy, simple and quick

No hidden cost and convienent using sites. I highly recommending it.

Wearied in Britain for 4 weeks. The car was economical and roomy, a Fiat 500 . It was also gutless, with an awful turning circle and a gearbox selected from a Sunday market oddments bin. The usual ripoff of double the petrol price occurs at the end. Our deposit still has not been returned.

There were no problems with website, collection or drop off. Everything went smoothly and the car was great. Good value.

From arrival at the desk, to actually driving away in the car took only 15 minutes. The car I booked was not available so I was offered a much better vehicle with no extra charge. The collection process was swift and efficient and on returning the car I just had to drive into a space allocated to the hire company. Immediately a representative from the company arrived, took the keys, gave the car a look over and said everything was OK and that was everything completed. A very good experience overall.

The Fiat Punto V was not what I expected when I booked a particular class of car with Hertz, exemplified by the Renault Captur. The Punto car is an old car (with >57,000 km on the clock) and an old generation diesel, which lacked oomph for the hills; so usually required a gear downshift.
I should have complained when I picked it up but it was raining hard and there were very few cars in the parking lot, so I was keen to just get on my way. Next time I will be more critical.
But the fuel economy was great, so I can't complain too much!!
