I am extremely disappointed with my experience using Hitched, particularly with how they handle customer reviews. I left an honest and accurate review about a vendor I used for my wedding, only to have it removed after the vendor falsely claimed they did not provide the service I reviewed. Despite providing evidence to prove my claims, Hitched sided with the vendor without consulting me or verifying the facts.
It’s clear that Hitched allows vendors to manipulate the review process, which completely undermines the platform’s credibility. As a groom, I relied on Hitched to provide honest, transparent reviews to make informed decisions, but this experience has shown me that negative feedback is not treated fairly. Instead of protecting customers, Hitched appears to prioritise keeping vendors happy—even when they provide substandard services.
This type of behavior is damaging not only to couples planning their weddings but also to Hitched’s reputation as a trustworthy platform. Allowing vendors to have negative reviews removed means future customers are left in the dark about potential issues and risks.
I would not recommend Hitched to anyone looking for reliable feedback or fair treatment. If you expect transparency and accountability from the vendors you hire, avoid using this platform. My experience has been nothing but disappointing, and I sincerely hope Hitched reevaluates how they handle customer reviews before they lose the trust of their users altogether.

A Vendor’s Experience
At first glance, Hitched seemed like a promising platform, with a strong online presence and plenty of traffic. I was excited to sign up, opting for coverage in two counties, and was even given an additional one for free. Initially, I had high hopes. I created a detailed profile, followed all the instructions, and eagerly awaited leads.
Leads did come in, but that’s where the problems started. Despite putting in maximum effort—offering discounts, emailing, calling, and texting—I received very little response. Most potential clients either didn’t reply or had already found someone else. I began noticing invalid phone numbers and bounced emails among the leads, raising concerns about their quality.
I contacted support, hoping to switch counties as it became clear that the leads I was receiving were for clients seeking the cheapest possible prices for DJ services. However, my frustration grew when support stopped replying to my emails altogether. I’ve been paying £89 monthly, and despite repeated attempts to downgrade or cancel my subscription, my requests have been ignored.
After speaking with a professional familiar with the platform, I learned that while it can work for some vendors, the leads are often low quality, requiring significant effort to secure even a single booking. This aligns with my experience, where the platform feels more like a drain on time and money than a worthwhile investment.
Final Thoughts
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Hitched to fellow vendors. The lack of support, poor-quality leads, and difficulty in managing subscriptions make it a frustrating platform to work with. Save your money and look elsewhere for a more reliable and supportive service.

It has been helpful in getting in touch with suppliers where we are getting married as I don't live close to the venue.

Dear suppliers, do not subscribe to this site, you will only waste your precious time.
I received about 10 requests for quotes, I replied regularly without communicating prices because the information was not sufficient, but I never received a reply from any customer, I think they are all fake requests created with fake accounts.
For no reason and without any warning they deleted my account, overnight it disappeared, but they still exploit my photos to index themselves on Google and redirect links with my photos to other suppliers, unbelievable but true.
Obviously already reported to Google for using images of mine without authorisation as my account is totally non-existent now.
Never seen such impropriety in all my life.

After going back and fourth with the idea of signing up with Hitched.. I am so glad I did.. I have gone from 4 weddings booked next year (2025) to 25+. And it's not even peak season yet. I signed up around 6 months ago and I can honestly say the company and the staff are brilliant. Joanne Lucas, is always on the end of the phone or email if you need anything. She is insightful and offer you tips and tricks on how to become a success. I was a little apprehensive when it comes to the cost as you are tied in to a year however just 1 or 2 bookings would cover this. You can have a free ad however spending money on premium or even gold is definitely the way forward. I cannot recommend Hitched enough.

Please don’t use this company. I’m still waiting for my wedding photos since April 2024. They took my money but no photos

Very happy with the service I have received from the Hitched team.
Easy to set up a listing, it’s free (unless you want to pay and have extra benefits)
Good experience so far.

Absolute waste of time and money
Couples just tick a box to send you a message that they are interested, they tick multiple boxes to many suppliers, nobody ever replies and plenty of this contacts are fake as when I managed to call them they forgot about their wedding, stay away from this and invest your earned money in other

I initially posted a review about my frustrating experience with Hitched, but unfortunately, the situation has only worsened. I raised a complaint with them back in February, explaining serious issues that needed to be resolved before any payment would be made. Since then, I have faced constant hurdles, lack of communication, and now, unjustified harassment from debt collectors.
In June, I informed their collections team that I would not make any payments until my complaint was resolved. Despite this, I was met with silence for five months—no updates, no responses, nothing to address the issues I raised. Instead, I’ve now been pursued by debt collectors, which only adds to the frustration of an issue that should have been resolved long ago.
The debt collection calls are causing me stress, anxiety, and low moods. I have documented every email exchange to show my good-faith effort to resolve this fairly. Hitched’s unwillingness to respond, alongside these aggressive collection tactics, reflects poorly on their customer service and commitment to treating customers fairly.
I will escalate this to the Financial Ombudsman Service if a prompt response isn’t provided, and I am prepared to consult a lawyer, as I understand that others have had similar experiences. I hope this review helps others be aware of these issues before engaging with Hitched.

To expensive for me wouldent give them the time of day

They spam with numerous unsolicited emails and prompts. False leads to vendors as well as false information about vendors' pricing. Stay away, if you find a supplier you like try to find their own website.

Potential for the services to be helpful in planning my wedding, but poor service and badly designed tool hamper usefulness.
For example, we paid the premium for the website builder, however what it doesn't tell you is that the registration takes your first name initials and uses them as a header for the site which cannot be changed. This is a problem when you are know by most guests by your middle name! I tried contacting the hitched but my queries have been ignored, so money wasted on a subpar wedding website service.

I have never worked with a more incompetent company that clearly runs scams on its customers. They take funds for services not rendered, make unjustified threats, ignore emails and fair to attend phone meetings that are booked through their online booking system weeks ahead. Complete scam, do not pay to work with this company. The website crashes and locks you out and their payment system failed to update despite multiple discussions about this.
Professional but persistent with calls leading up to paying and since then all support vanished, the system was plagued with issues, they couldn’t update my card details on their system and then locked my account, harassed me for funds for services I hadn’t received and failed to respond to my attempts to find a resolution because apparently they’re all on holiday.
One of the most tremendous examples of overpromise and underdeliver to get a sales I’ve ever experienced.
I don’t have proof but I’m pretty sure they put fake leads on to justify their scam, other victims of their services have also communicated the same belief to me.

When looking for a vendor, the learn more option send a message to the vendor saying I’m interested in using the business. I feel like this is misleading to the vendor as this would be counted as a lead when in reality it isn’t.

I wouldn’t use this company to advertise your business. They promised my leads and brides through the door for nearly £50 a month which didn’t happen. I got lots from other advertising platforms, also I believe the leads are fake as no brides ever replied. Even through emailing them privately. As soon as I complained I got a message through from a bride. Slight coincidence!!
Stuck in a contract now I wasn’t told about on the phone and have to pay for the full year as they won’t let me cancel.

Found the planning tool useful and was able to track progress based on the timeframes suggested to complete given task. The articles about name change and wedding gifts have also proved useful. Would recommend as easy to use and get started
