Fitted with weight-sensitive castors for carpet floors. The user has complete freedom of movement while seated. Upon standing up, the safety braking mechanism hinders unwanted movement of the office chair. The castors are unlocked when pressure is placed back on the chair.

Purchased a chair (XXL G 100 - XXL Swivel Chair, Brown) from hjh in May 2018.

What went wrong:
Chair was delivered, instructions were really poor, the youtube video they recommended was not for this model so not accurate either. It was very very difficult to put the chair together and the bolts and holes would not align.

They had to send me a replacement back because it would not align with the bottom and the holes - this eventually worked but temporarily.

The arm rests were super difficult to screw in again a bolt issue, once fixed however the arm rests constantly fall off after use over some time, the bolt and alignment aren't made for each other so while your using the chair its constantly moving and eventually will fall regardless of how many times its fixed.

I have been dealing with this issue for the last two years to the point where the arm rests have been ignored and just left not fixed which is not ideal for an expensive chair like this.

The chair is comfortable if only it was able to be fixed correctly (poor manufacturing when aligning) it could have been great.

I see other reviews are similar and i believe they are of the same model.

In hindsight i should have got a different model.

Now i am looking to purchase something else but i am really not sure if i look at HJH or not as i feel i lost my money and have been using a stool for the last 2 years, effectively the back and the arm rests were of no use.

I bought a leather office chair and it was delivered promptly. There was one problem. The bolts and washers needed to assemble it were missing. I contacted the service department who said they would send these and I would receive them within seven days. Unfortunately, things went wrong. They were not dispatched immediately and then sat in the courier company warehouse in Germany for more than a week. Eventually, when I chased the service department, they investigated this and got things moving. In the meantime they agreed that if I bought the bolts and washers from Amazon they would reimburse me. The missing bolts and washers and the ones I ordered from Amazon arrived the same day. The chair is assembled and I am pleased with it. I think that the mark of a good service department is what they do when things go wrong. I found the service department staff pleasant, helpful and they did the right thing by agreeing to credit my credit card with what it cost me to buy the extra bolts and washers. In the circumstances I would recommend the company and use them again.

Like many, I have had to accept that working from home is the new normal. I had to set up office space in my living room, but wanted furniture that could be easily stored when not in use. This office chair is perfect, not as easy to assemble as I’d first thought - but once up, it’s totally comfortable and sturdy.

I bought the Promotor II game chair for streaming on twitch and i had pre ordered it about 1 month before it was in stock and came in time within 3 days like they said , putting it together is a bit tricky but it came with all parts and instructions ( that you can also download on the website) they kept me in the loop , track and trace was spot on , would recommend buying from this store again! , awesome quality chair comfy and ergonomic like promissed i like it!
