At the moment you have asked me to review a child’s gaming chair that I have not yet received. How can I do that? Tracking the order to find it is in German. I believed that I was ordering the chair from a UK site. I am now concerned that it will not arrive in time for our Grandson’s birthday.
If it does arrive in time and it is in perfect order I shall amend my review.

My daughter's office chair looks exactly like in the picture. It's a very good quality and was very easy to put it together. I would definitely recommend it.

Chair was delivered promptly and as expected.
The instructions to build were slightly confusing - two sets of instructions with completely opposite ways of building.. but it worked out ok in the end.
The casters were also quite difficult to put on, but I love the final result so no complaints here!

I bought 2 chairs at the end of last year and they arrived after frustrating and confused delays. One however has a fault and I have been waiting since December to get the spare part which they need to provide under warranty. They say it is because of Brexit but I do not understand how they can still be selling chairs and delivering them but cannot get a spare part to me. When you phone customer services they are very vague as to the reasons why parts cannot be shipped and can give no idea at all of when or if it will be sent. It is now May and I am still waiting. I was promised an email to clarify the position but I am still waiting for that too after several weeks. They say they will refund one of my chairs but this is no good to me as they were bought as a matching pair and they refuse to refund both.

Ordered a chair about 8 months ago pre-Brexit which so far has lasted well (looks almost new with daily WFH use), so ordered another (more expensive model) in April. Had read the reviews here and their notice on the website about brexit delivery issues, so was concerned, but couldn’t find a better chair elsewhere so took the risk. Glad I did, as less than two weeks later the chair is here and in use and so far is great.

The only fly in the ointment is that the two boxes it was delivered in arrived a week apart. Much panic from me when only one box had arrived I tried calling their constantly engaged (off the hook I reckon) number and sent an email which took 5 days to get a response. But all arrived in the end.

So great chair, seems to have overcome the brexit issues, but customer contact could be improved. Still recommended and would use again. Fingers crossed both chairs last.

Had this chair for 1 year. It broke End of January. I did contact them and send all info and photos for warranty. They keep blaming Brexit for not shipping warranty spare parts.

I did receive and email on the 12th of March that they shipped the part. No tracking number was provided. So i sent them and email and asked for tracking number. Today i did receive a reply and what do you think it was. Here you go:

So i spent over £300 on a chair and it broke year later. Company failing to supply warranty parts.

This is totally unacceptable. If you are reading this please do not shop with this company. There are way much better companies who at least deal with issues.

I’d rather burn my money than buy anything from them ever again. I ordered a chair with immediate delivery option mid January. They now say maybe in April i might receive it. The worst customer service i have ever experienced. They take your money like a scammer. They tried to use Lockdown as excuse for the delay but We were already in lockdown when i ordered it. Not worth your time or energy buying anything from these scammers.

Terrible customer service. Non-existing communication. After contacting them by email on two occasions and hearing nothing back I called them. It was clear that my query was an inconvenience at best to them. Really not bothered that I was cancelling my order as a result of the customer experience. They will respond that the situation is down to Brexit. This has nothing to do with treating customer with respect and communicating with them in an appropriate manner. My advice is stay clear otherwise you will spend more time chasing your order and being fobbed off with empty rhetoric.

Spinio chair update:

I contacted them on the 31st of December, since i’ve had a few reponses, but the issue is still unresolved, yet they are able to respond to negative feedback on trust pilot, please sent the amount we agreed back to me so that i can buy the gas spring.

This is unacceptable, how is it possible that customer service is this bad.

How do you operate a business without customer support?

What is the point in the warrante when you do not do your part.

Is it acceptable for a chair of 7 months use is not usable due to initially the back coming a part and now the gas spring has stopped working.

When i spent 219 pounds on this chair i was hoping it would last longer than 7 months?

Be careful where you spend your money.

I have placed an order for chair which is stated as "immediately deliverable" and "delivery in 14-21 working days". It has been 10 days and I have not received a dispatch confirmation. I have tried to contact their customer services via telephone however nobody answers. I have tried to contact via email yet still no response. I have paid £200 for a chair yet they take no responsibility in meeting these orders. Appalling customer service.

Phoned HJH asking if they were delivering to the UK with Taxes included.
Was told yes all prices quoted on the website are delivered to the UK.
Ordered and paid for a chair. 2 days later received an confusing email about a political situation and that my order will be delayed.

Purchased an executive office chair which on trying out was not suitable (no adjustment to tilt mechanism) so I had to return it. Staff helped with chosing an alternative so I order new one and arranged return of unsuitable chair. HJH arranged the transport which was very efficiently carried out
Throughout my experience HJH were excellent and I cannot praise them highly enough, add to that quality of chairs are very good. Dealing with a company based in Germany was an absolute pleasure well done

The price of the chair made me nervous about the quality of the product but pleasantly surprised so far!

CHIARO T2 WHITE - this chair is class.
I knew if I wanted a good chair I’d have to spend some cash but looking at people recommendations on YouTube they were either cheap and nasty or thousands of pounds.

I honestly feel like I’ve cracked the system and found a gem. I can be sat in my chair all day and it doesn’t feel like anything. I felt no difference after, which is honestly perfect and what a quality chair should feel like.

I got the white and blue style but I wish for the next guy that might not want the colours available for their to be a full grayscale white/black style.

It’s also better in person.

I’m happy.

(Delivery took along time but that was warned to me from the start and I was happy to wait)

I bought a blue Racer Sport chair direct from HJH when our office first instructed everyone to work from home in March 2020, figuring that a gaming chair should be comfortable for a long working day.
First of all the backrest had to be replaced because areas of stitching had missed the target.
The recline mechanism creaks and grinds and when locked upright does not give any sense of security.
The cover caps for the side screws refuse to stay in their holes and are constantly falling out onto the floor. I tried gently tapping one in a bit further with a small hammer but it disintegrated.
The padding on the armrests has rolled off the top of the armrests and round to the side.
The seat padding is now completely flattened to nothing and it feels like I am sitting directly on the plastic framework. It is now extremely uncomfortable.
These racer chairs are not built to last.

Update: I have emailed the address given in the response below and have not had so much as an acknowledgement. Have just reduced the rating by a further star!

Update 2: I have now has a reply from HJH who have offered to replace the seat, the arm assemblies, and the tilt mechanism. The backrest has already been replaced as it was falling to pieces on arrival.
This means that the entire chair from the hydraulic strut upwards has had to be replaced within 8 months. I don't hold out much hope for the quality of the replacement parts, based on what was originally supplied.
Update 3: I have been attempting for two months to obtain replacement parts or a refund for this awful chair. Replacements were promised in November, it is now January and what remains of the chair is being stored in the shed as it cannot be used.
PLEASE AVOID BUYING FROM THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. Their chairs are not made to last a year and their after-sales support is non-existent.
If I could reduce the rating to zero, I would have done so by now.

Update 4
After many delays it is now January and the parent company in Germany say that they cannot ship my replacement parts until April due to Brexit. Even though I reported the fault to them in October.
IN WHICH CASE THEY SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO TRADE IN THE UK.

Order arrived 3 days sooner than expected. 2 large boxes delivered together by DPD. Checked the contents and there was an extra bolt of each size, which was reassuring given some of the other reviews I read. However all of the washers were 8mm, rather than the two sizes in the list of contents. No problem as they all fitted, although they were a bit loose on the 6mm bolts.

Immediately noticed that the armrests are a slightly different, smoother, texture from the seat and backrest. Hopefully they are just as "real", and not a fake material. The armrest covers are zipped in place, so I may have a closer look at them later.

Assembly was relatively easy, but check you put the tilting base on the seat the right way round - I didn't, and found the chair was a bit unstable on completion. It was only when I noticed the tilt operating in the wrong direction that I realised the problem and had to undo the base and refit it the right way round. After that it was fine, just an extra 10 minutes assembly time.

The chair is nice looking and comfortable to sit in, with that pleasant smell of new real leather at the moment. The tilt works easily enough, although the weight adjustment doesn't seem to change much.

Too early to say how well it wears but I bought the real leather version of Prado because of previous bad experiences with fake leather chairs cracking, peeling and flaking. Not items from HJH, I hasten to add, but this so-called "hydrolysis" is a well known problem in the fake leather industry and I won't touch goods described as fake, faux, bonded, PU or faced leather ever again. Sick and tired of flakes of "leather" surface all over the house. Hopefully this "real leather" chair will see an end to those issues.

Now my wife wants me to buy one for her study but she will have to wait until the brown version she wants is back in stock, and until I see how well this one wears! ;-)

Delivery times were very slow and not as advertised. Tracking information sent for DPD but was delivered by another company I have never heard of. Had to carry my chair in myself from the end of the drive as the delivery driver couldn't manage it. However.. It looks like a nice comfy chair but only time will tell.
