In store order
Received email telling me my item was dispatched 28/11. By 10/12 still no sign of in store arrival. No further communication. Can't find a way to easily query or chase up order.
After receiving the reply to my initial review I was able to easily collect item. Although there was a blip in communication, in the end HMV sorted it and I received the requested item. It was very well packaged.

Always helpful and knowledgeable staff friendly
Always have good help when trying to find music or dvds and advice on what is available also like the Swindon HMV but Cheltenham has good customer service as well

Disgraceful and costly service
As a birthday present I ordered a DVD from HMV Cheltenham, on a Thursday. I was told it may be in Saturday or Monday latest. They promised to call. By Tuesday they had not so I called the published number four times during the day and day after. I got music and no reply having waited several minutes.
I visited the store the next day to be told that it came in on last Saturday but they had been too busy to call. The shop is normally quite empty. I asked why they didnt answer their calls, same story too busy.
Just received my mobile phone bill for 0843 numbers. TOTAL COST £11.62 just a pound less than the DVD.

The member of staff I dealt with was absolutely lovely, it’s just a shame that when I got home to check on the CD I’d ordered that the case was cracked.

It's been a few years, I got anything from the HMV website. Their definitely a lot more quicker now than they used to. Certain "unlimited" films for home delivery. Makes sense
