It was delivered on time but was damaged badly
It was delivered on time however, the vinyl that I had order had lots of damage done to it. It was pretty badly scraped and had a few chips in it which made the whole thing pretty unplayable.

Excellent Click and Collect service.
Placing a Click and Collect order was straight forward, no problems.
Collecting from the Colchester store was also straight forward and the staff were efficient, courteous and helpful.

Never would I recommend or use hmv again.. the hassle we had as you’ll see from the notes was unbearable.. I would honestly look at reconstructing the click and collect service..

Ordered items before the Christmas…
Ordered items before the Christmas deadline for the items to be delivered before Christmas and only 3 of the 5 items arrived without a explanation as to why. Was not the store at fault and the service I received from the colchester store they were very professional and apologetic.
The online website was the source that did me wrong.

do not use click and collect
used the click and collect option for the first time and it was a disaster. i ordered something at the start of december for one of my friends and decided to go with the click and collect option, all was going well and it was dispatched fairly quickly. however, it states the order should arrive in store within 2-5 days, once it got to 10 days without any updates i started to get worried. i visited the shop to enquire about my order, a man behind the till checked my order and said it has been dispatched but that was it, he said if it didn’t arrive by christmas i would get a full refund. i was in town the next day so i decided to go in again and buy the present and ask for a refund for my order as it was now in stock in store and there was less than a week until christmas. i was served by another worker and they also checked my order for me, they said that my order had been there for 6 days and they had sent me an email! i did not receive an email and i still have not, and if it had been there for almost a week why wasn’t i given it the day prior when i asked about it? the worker was actually quite rude to me about it and made it seem like i was to blame, i felt extremely uncomfortable.
