Excellent entertainment store
Regularly use HMV to fulfill my entertainment requirements.
The site is easy to use and navigate,
the purchases always arrive within timeframe stated. Communication is good and progress of orders is confirmed via email. Click and collect available when home delivery not convenient.

Fans like the sets! Make sure they are available on preorder please
Convenient pick up knowing that I don’t have to be home! One star dropped because the order was split into 2 boxes (2 versions of the same album) and only 1 arrived on the day. Was already disappointed that version A sold out almost immediately, so the set became unavailable) I had to visit town 2 days later and the second parcel arrived in between, luckily and the version was in stock at the store!

Alas the experience wasn't as it should, again the store was playing the music too loud you can barely hear each other speak & last complaint ignored. I like listening to loud metal music, but there's a time & place & retail store is not the place! Play music but at a level where you can speak to each other easily, not everyone has perfect hearing. Also I was never asked for ID to prove who I am when collecting the order despite email saying it was required & when I open the package after collecting it I found the DVD case was broken. Think I'll stick to mail order or visit Chelmsford store.

The member of staff saw that I was looking around and needed help. Asked if I need help and then was really friendly and great giving me options for what I could do. Great customer service.

Delivery was very long.
No information on delivery time, I expected at least 5-8 business days but it took much longer. I was disappointed on the amount of communication regarding delivery.

The right box but the wrong blu ray inside. As I ordered online, online recourse to report an issue would have been helpful rather than take time to visit a local store. That said, staff instore were very helpful…you get an extra star for that.
