HMV Empire, Coventry
This is a great venue, I love the balcony bar DJ sets before and after the gigs. The bars are very busy as always and you can wait a while, but I've seen a lot worse. The 5 stars is for the venue and the overall experience of The Empire. The app is also quite straightforward to use, I didn't have any issues downloading tickets.

Always a great experience at HMV Empire…
Always a great experience at HMV Empire or in store. I go to gigs alone sometimes and never feel intimidated. The staff are always happy, helpful and go above and beyond. Great venue. Recently saw James Arthur, The South, Cov replay tonight and Kooks tomorrow. Cannot wait, thank you for being amazing at what you do.

Tickets to a signing in Birmingham were non transferable so they got wasted! The queuing to a concert at HMV Coventry was not very well organised. No staff outside guiding ppl where to queue until the very last minute. Ppl trying to push in or skip the queue and some ended up joining the accessible queue which was much shorter for obvious reasons and they were let in first which is VERY UNFAIR on those who arrived hours before the event!

The receiving of the tickets was very unclear and despite several voicemails and emails left I didn't receive a reply which left me confused and worried wether we'd get tickets or get into the venue. Very bad customer relations.
It was only when we got to venue and stated my worry about not receiving my tickets,that I got told my name should be on the list (upon checking it was indeed on the list)

absolutely dangerous actions of the company. Forcing you to enter your email in front of everyone, on a big screen is sick. Anyone from a distance can watch what you enter. So why is there a shipment number and showing ID?
