Poor customer service and no notification of delays
I placed a small order of 4 mystery pin boxes on 29/11/2025. Delivery is listed as Royal Mail 24hrs tracked (obviously not taking into account the weekend - I'm well aware of that).
Fast forward to now and I have contacted customer service as my order still hasn't even been dispatched, let alone will be delivered within 24hrs.
Customer service have been awful and can only advise me that my order will be dispatched "soon" and can't give me any time frame. Very unhelpful when I need to decide whether or not to buy them somewhere else. They said that they notify all customers when orders are delayed, to which I was never notified, and said it was down to a "rare technical error" which can happen sometimes. Very convenient HMV! I'd have no issues with the delay if they kept their customers informed and had a time frame on it, but no, it's the customers job to find out for themselves.
All around a terrible service, customer service is useless and won't log any complaints. I will never be shopping online with HMV again. Can't be trusted.

i popped into your store in Nottingham on a day trip from Wisbech Cambridgeshire
for the Christmas market, wonderful day
the hmv member of staff couldn't have been more attentive and he found what i had been searching for for months, "The Trap" a 1966 film
He advised it could be shipped to my address or i could collect it in store at hmv in kings Lynn Norfolk which i chose to do as its only a few miles from me

So we’re supposed to meet D-Block…
So we’re supposed to meet D-Block Europe unfortunately it got cancelled which is unacceptable. I don’t know why HMV couldn’t put the people that paid to see them in Nottingham. Just tell us to go to Birmingham on the Monday to see them because otherwise people have to pay over £300 to meet them and for some people or they wanted us to meet them

A VALUED CUSTOMER
I am seen as a valued customer and do not always have to approach the staff for any queries as they are very polite and observant and will greet me when seen. My email address is well known to them so unless i say otherwise they will create my receipt online without any fuss. The running joke with all of them is that i am well known for making a purchase almost everytime i visit the store which is daily.
