They ordered my DVD in the store, and it was delivered to the store 4 days later.
The staff were really helpful as is always the case when I go to HMV.

Easy order of vinyl record in store.
Ordered a vinyl record from my local HMV store. Staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Order took only a couple of days. Had email and picked up easily and conveniently in store.

Great staff – handled a tricky moment really well
While visiting the HMV Poole store, my husband stepped in front of a lady in an aisle to pass by — just as she went to reach for an item. It was a simple human error, and he immediately apologised. Unfortunately, the lady became quite upset, but the staff behind the till noticed straight away and kindly checked we were okay, offering to help if needed.
They stayed calm, professional, and considerate, which really helped ease the situation. Please pass on our thanks to those staff members for their kindness — they turned an awkward moment into a positive one.
Everyone has off days — hopefully the other customer’s day improved after that! 😊

Ordering online just wouldn't work
Unfortunately, I tried to order a couple of items in July at different times from the website, one a reservation in store and the other a delivery to Chester for my son and I couldn't do either. I went into the shop in Poole to order the items and one was in stock and the other a preorder that the assistant managed to complete on line for delivery to me. Both times I had a very enjoyable experience in the shop, both members of staff were awesome. I'll not bother online again, I'll just pop in instead.

I knew I could buy the Signora Volpe Series 2 dvd easily prior to release date, with the very efficient and friendly staff at HMV in Poole Dorset, it arrived on time and was ready for me to pick up at the store.
