Always enjoy visiting the HMV shop in Poole, great staff and a large selection of albums and CDs. However would like to see more late 60's and 70's progressive music in store.

Helpful staff and they can order what's not in stock
Why pay for postage or a Prime subscription when you can get an order sent double-quick to a local store?
The Poole branch has a big enough stock to ensure pleasant browsing, with plenty of collectable Blu-rays, 4K discs and vinyl records. It also has very friendly staff who seem to know their films and music. I'll continue spending money there wherever I can rather than helping enrich the online giants.

Broken
Ordered a few cds online. One of the cds arrived with a broken case where the hinges were broken, causing it to be split in two and I had to replace the case.

Impressed with prices & stock availability
Ordered 4 cds, worked out a few pounds cheaper overall and they had better stock availability when i compared to the online shop i usually buy from (yup you know the one i mean!) & i collected from the shop. Feels good to support high street shopping. Use it or lose it.

Long live physical media
I visit hmv quite often and always leave with a cd/dvd bundle,people say streaming is best but remember films music etc can be taken down from netflix Spotify etc so physical media is still the best bet.
