You're able to brouse and order online and then pick up at your convenience at your nearest store free of charge.

Great service
Best price I could find for the obscenely priced Springsteen Tracks 2 Boxset. That said, it's a phenomenal set. Allowed me to unbox and check for damage in store and then helped me repackage. Very friendly and helpful staff in their Sheffield City Centre branch.

HMV High Street Sheffield Staff are great!
HMV High Street Sheffield are always helpful and friendly, and it's a pleasure to see staff who have been with you many years.
CD I ordered came when predicted and I was updated on the progress.
My main criticism with HMV is the reduced CD section; as part of the joy of the shop is to browse for new names and titles but this has shrunk to a sorry level.

HMV is my favourite shop
HMV is my favourite shop, not just because of the wealth of physical media but because of the sales staff also, including the manager Andy, and the Assistant Managers. I love going down their and spending time with them, sharing our knowledge of movies, and passing them any information that I have on upcoming movies or movie trivia. I can't remember the name of the person who retrieved my pre-orders, but she had dyed blonde hair and ponytail, and wore glasses. She was lovely, as always. Upstairs when I went to search for some more movies, I was assisted by Nicky, and she's always very nice to me.
