In-store order
I ordered an Arrow Video film last Friday instore, but so far I don't know if the order was placed or is on it's way to the store. Why is it taking so long?
I just heard back today from my local HMV store. My order has arrived and is ready for collection. Great job HMV.

Double payment - dismissed
I purchased a gift card in the Stirling HMV store. The store made a mistake and when they processed my payment were not able to issue the gift card. Someone had not carried out a task to enable gift cards to be issued. I was told I would have to make a second payment and the first one would be reversed. I was led to believe this would happen very quickly. This has not happened and I am now being told there is nothing that can be done and the payment will be reversed but I will not receive my money back straight away.
I have contacted my bank who say this can take 5-7 working days.
hMV staff knew there was a problem and should have resolved it in store rather than ask me for a second payment.
All I am hearing now is “well there is nothing more we can do”. All well and good for HMV but this was all down to a mistake in store and I should not have to wait for a resolution.
Although I have contacted the store and customer services I am being told there is nothing they can do I just have to wait.

Brilliant Service Would Highly Recommend!!!
It was easy to collect from the HMV store and the delivery to the shop was swift. The records were in great condition and were packaged well.
Great selection of LP’s in store also, had an hour to spare so had a dig in the crates.
Brilliant service over all would highly recommend.

Online hmv had what I was looking for online but didn't have it in store (as I checked in store first) the assistant did offer to order it in for me I said thanks but I'm going to check another place first if no joy I'll order it myself really helpful assistant keep up the fab work u all do

Ordering was easy and item well packaged
Ordering was easy and item arrived very well packed. Staff were friendly and helpful when I collected and I didn't have to wait long.
Chose 4*s as delivery to store took a week and I thought it would be a little quicker.
