So easy to order the DAB Radio in store, James was really helpful and didn’t rush me at all, I was left to look through all the alternatives that they had to offer, which was a vast range, the price was reasonable too and I had the choice of delivery to my house or to my local store which was Uxbridge in this case, overall the service received was excellent. Honestly my experience in the Uxbridge branch of HMV was a pleasant one, up until being processed at the tills. I'd like to emphasise that the lady who served me was nothing but courteous and polite, but her manager rather less so. I was purchasing a magic the gathering bundle as I am a rather avid collector and player of MTG. When I entered I noticed a deal being advertised for a free tote bag themed around the product when purchasing the £28.99 beginner box of the avatar the last airbender MTG set - of course being a long time collector of MTG cards I had no interest in the beginner box, but the bundle, at more than twice the price, did interest me. I decided to purchase it and the very polite lady at the tills began to pull a tote bag out for me; however she, understandably checked with her manager (a long haired gentleman at the tills, Adam I believe?) to make sure it was okay - he explained that the tote bag came with the beginner box exclusively, so despite spending more than twice the amount on the bundle I asked if I could purchase the tote bag as it matched the set and I was quite keen on it. He bizarrely, and rather rudely, refused this request and unfortunately I left the interaction with a bitter taste in my mouth. I'd like to stress again that the lady who served me on the till was nothing but polite, but perhaps the management team should have a look in to learning how to not come across as a total jobsworth and instead offer good customer service. It is unfortunate that this was my experience as I typically have good experiences in HMV, but unfortunately this one employee did not leave a good impression on me. I will likely avoid the Uxbridge branch in the future due to poor management.

I had gift voucher I can’t use online. Store assistant helped me order in store a game online.
Excellent customer service in Uxbridge, great store.
Game arrived within 48 hours as promised no issues.
