If we ever have to move again we would certainly choose Hobdens. Throughout the process they were polite and professional and did everything to make the move as smooth as possible. We did not get our keys until 4:45 and there was no additional pressure from the team. To speed it through a further set of guys miraculously appeared to help out. Thank you.

Fantastic experience! We are both elderly and recently moved from a 3 bed cottage to a 2 bed cottage, both with VERY difficult access, but the Hobden boys were magnificent. From the expert packing to the difficult locations they were cheerful and never complained. Well done Hobdens, we were VERY impressed.

Hobdens were brilliant from start to finish.

I should have written this review sooner but I’m sure after moving there’s always something else. Anyway I couldn’t fault the service at all, from booking through to the big day. Nothing was too much trouble for Shane and Lewis. Thanks to all of you. You made our move so stress less.

Brilliant from start to finish, easy to deal with, did what they said when they said and Alex and Matt have just moved me back in and were both fantastic..would definitely recommend.

Hobdens are so customer-centered at every level, from first contact right through to final goodbye when we were safely in our new home.
We had Jamie and Tim move us this week over 2 days. From start to finish they were fabulous. We didn't get into our new home until late afternoon, due to the length of the chain. They worked so hard to unload everything for us, checking regularly with us that we were okay and it was okay to carry on. The next morning they came back to pick up the wardrobe boxes and any other boxes we had unpacked. They checked whether we needed any help in moving stuff around.
They were always courteous, respectful and polite taking an interest in us and our family. They were absolutely lovely. They are great advocates for Hobdens!

I moved into my first home on Friday 3rd January 2025, and Jamie and Shane made my move stress free, seamless, and enjoyable! They were very attentive and careful with moving my belongings from one property to the other, as well as very accommodating with helping me put furniture into position, as this required skill and brain power to try to fit various sized furniture into small, quirky cottage spaces! Thank you Jamie and Shane for your excellent service and patience, I would highly recommend Hobden’s for all removal requirements.

Brilliant service! This is the 4th time I have used Hobdens, twice for commerical move and twice for residential move

The team are friendly and fun to be around and oh my gosh they work hard! The speed at which the load and unload is amazing. Its like watching magicians or something with the skill at which they make everything fit.

I hope to not move again for a long time (not sure why the house purchase process needs to be quite so stressful) but if i do i will definitely use them again

Can’t recommend Hobdens more highly. They were professional, helpful, flexible, efficient and competitively priced. The team on the day (Sam P, Alex, Matt C and Jamie C) were hardworking and skilled, making our day much less stressful. Can’t thank them enough. Hobdens did our last house move 28 years ago. They were great then and they still are.

Outstanding service from start to finish. Super friendly and did everything they could to help from the quote through to completing the move. The removal team of Jamie, Jamie, Lewis and Alex were fantastic and worked incredibly hard throughout despite some unaccommodating weather on the first day. Hobdens were excellent from start to finish. On the first visit, I got a quote within a few hours. They were very flexible when I couldn’t specify a date because my completion date kept changing. On the day of my move, they arrived promptly and packed everything in about an hour. At my new property, Sam, Jamie and Shane were amazing. They were very careful with my belongings and positioned everything where I asked them to do and even changed it when I change my mind. They managed to sort out a difficult problem with putting my TV on a stand and I was very impressed with their professionalism. The move was very stress free, thanks to Sam, Jamie and Shane. I highly recommend Hobdens to anyone who wants to move.

Hobden’s provided an outstanding service. From the initial meeting and quote, everything was clearly explained, we knew what would happen, when it would happen and who would be responsible. The move was a long distance and took 2 days to complete. On both days Lewis, Callum and Jamie were excellent and clear in what they were doing and efficient in doing it.
They ensured things ended up where we wanted them to go, helped us move stuff into the loft, stayed until we were comfortable and treated all our items with respect.
I would not hesitate to use them again and have recommended them to my goddaughter for her upcoming house move.

Have used Hobdens a number of times over the years and have always had a good service from them. This time my furniture etc had been in storage for almost two years. Only adverse comment I was a bit disappointed that there was a slightly damp feel in the towels/bedding etc which I had not experienced the last time they had my goods in storage for a similar period. However Alex,Matt and Shane did a wonderful job. They took less than an hour to unload everything and were cheerful and helpful. When my goods had been taken into storage Hobdens had again been extremely fast and efficient with both the the packing and the removal. I would certainly use them again.

Hobdens removals were totally professional and provided superb service for our move in December. We cannot thank them enough. The removal boys were Jamie Sam Shane and Lewis . You went above and beyond moving us to our new home. Thank you you were amazing.

I’ve just put my property into storage with Hobdens removals and so far I’m very impressed. Everyone I’ve spoken to whether over the phone or in person has been so lovely and very helpful. Jamie H and Tim who came to move my property into storage where efficient and made the whole process very easy.

Everything that was promised was adhered to. Fast and efficient. Helpful and accommodating. Could not have found a better removal firm.

My belongings went into storage with Hobden’s six months ago without a hitch. They returned my belongings earlier this month. Two young lads - Lewis & Jamie H, did a superb job. They handled everything calmly & carefully & were an absolute delight.
I highly recommend Hobden’s - my experience has been nothing short of excellent.
