Stunning sofa!
Sofa arrived today, absolutely stunning!
Was unable to go the showroom and took the risk and ordered it over WhatsApp. Was made to fit into the space I had in my living room and it fits perfectly! Customer service was excellent, very helpful and friendly. I expected to pay more as it is made to measurement but the price was great considering most high st sofa shops sell rubbish for much more. Delivery driver was so lovely, he was on is own but got it all in very quickly. It wasn’t put together for me but I didn’t find that a problem. Highly recommended! I’ve just moved into a new build estate and have recommended.

Great service, nothing was too much trouble. I asked endless questions, and received detailed responses very quickly.
I ordered the curve bed and ottoman, from the internet and can honestly say the quality and the bed is amazing. I would definitely recommend and have no hesitation to use again.

Dior cinema sofa
Shambles of a company, quality of the sofa we ordered was shocking and it was not as advertised at all. The sofa did not even fit together properly. We paid for it to be assembled by 2 people and 1 delivery driver showed up alone, I had to lift into the house with my husband.
Asked HOB to collect the sofa for a refund, disputed with Amex as we were mi-sold and HOB completely lied saying we had a phone call and confirmed we had just ordered the wrong color which is a complete lie!!

Thank you for taking your time to leave a review and we are sorry to here you were not happy with the delivery service, in which we apologised for and provided you a refund on, as this was not acceptable and was taken up with the delivery company directly, in terms of the actual sofa it’s self, there was and is absolutely nothing wrong with the quality of sofa, you provided pictures and attempted to make out the sofa did not fit together,( by turning a stool the other way around and misplacing cushions ) in which we provided picture and video evidence of your sofa showing it did and left correctly we also advised we would send someone out to assess the sofa and if required take the sofa back and make any adjustments to it if necessary, or exchange for you, all options were refused by your self, we attempted to work with you throughout and made you aware of our terms and conditions, you sent various abusive emails and threatened to throw the sofa in the skip, furthermore you sent a second email turning a footstool around and said it was the incorrect size, we could see this from the direction of fabric run, unfortunately for you Chloe, we picture and video every item which leaves our factory for this very reason, we also advised you we would defend any chargeback attempt. As a chargeback scheme is put in place for customers when the retailer is ignoring them or not prepared to rectify any concerns or issues the customer may have.
We provided all written evidence to AMEX so that includes phone calls recordings , emails, videos and pictures, we have not lied about anything, however you had from the emails sent over to AMEX.
We were and are happy for you to use an independent upholster to confirm quality of sofa is excellent and as this is our most popular cinema sofa we were very surprised you were not happy, as a bespoke made to order sofa and bed retailer we pride ourselves on quality and service, and we will always rectify or exchange any issues that will occur within a timely manner, in which we attempted to do with yourself, but unfortunately you were not prepared to liaise with us and assumed AMEX would return your funds regardless of our terms and conditions, from the moment you reported an issue we responded to you within 30 minutes with options, we then sent a follow up email as we hadn’t heard from you the following day to rectify your concerns, every form of communication from yourself was responded too within hours, as your aware the chargeback has been defended so we are still very much open to working with you and happy to help with any concerns you may have.
Once again we apologise about the delivery service that was not acceptable and we have since come away from that delivery company

Disaster…..cancelled my order
Disaster! Ordered a piece of furniture for the lounge, paid in full. Received an email saying out of stock and offered new colour. Replied back in 24 hrs accepting the change and then found out new delivery date another 10 days. Told them this was unacceptable so they cancelled my order without any communication and gave me a refund. Not what I wanted so went back to reorder as they suggested and sold out. Nightmare, wasted two weeks and now back to the drawing board.

Refund given, after the refund was given we liased again with you via Whatsap and confirmed if you were to reorder it would be a 7 to 10 day lead time. We apologise for the lead times however these are what’s quoted on our website prior to ordering.

We ordered the Denver linear bed. The hob team went the extra mile for us. Communication was brilliant and job delivered and assembled for us.
The overhangs on the headboard were made bespoke so my existing bedside tables could sit perfectly. I can’t thank hob enough for making it an easy and seamless experience

This is the best place for a custom sofa. The quality of the foam and fillings is far superior to other high street shops with a range of designs on offer. I am so glad i came across this website, the Zara sofa looks exactly like it does on the website. Fantastic sofa for the family with plenty of room. I would highly recommend this website for sofas.

False trading address
Please update your address on all HOB advertised outlets including contact details on Trustpilot. You no longer have premises in Woodhall and should never have used the residential address of 185 Witham Rd either.
I continue to receive debt management letters (CST Law), and utility bills sent to my address for your company which you used as your contact/registered premises address. I emailed your customer service address and previous landlord to inform you and that I would seek formal action if this is not rectified asap. I have not received a reply therefore I will seek formal assistance from the authorities. This has been going on for months and we have spoken about this face to face at the time of your operation in Woodhall Spa.

Emma, this is my first and only Trustpilot review of your company. Disappointing that you have to resort to untruths. All exchanges were civil and polite when we were neighbours, I was not rude to your customers that incorrectly turned up at my house to collect your transactions. As for bullying, that is simply untrue and I would like to see any evidence to support such accusations. Its just untrue. I have contacted the Land Registry and I have a copy of the plans which support my claim to the address. What is true is the matter of the debt correspondence I have been receiving which I forwarded to your old landlord to send onto you. I have since contacted the debt recovery firm to redirect the letters. If you feel strongly enough to contact the authorities please do, it may actually clear this matter up correctly and formally. Yet another fake review left from a very a sad jealous individual who use to be our neighbour to our shop in Woodhall spa , this individual lied about phone lines being disconnected internet connection being disconnected our cctv over looking his garden the use of a container and having to look at a container which Enfact was there before he moved in and then put up extra high fencing incase our shop cctv caught his garden, the list of endless problems this individual caused over our trading address is laughable and to top it off he was constantly rude to our customers, as it was very apparent he didn’t like to see people achieve or earn a living.
Honestly Paul our cctv was put up to protect our shop and stock not to look at your garden antics.
To reiterate
Our address is not a false trading address like you have suggested above and our address is very clearly written on our website for customers to visit.
I look forwards to our old premises becoming a gym, I don’t think your bullying skills will work with the new male owner!
I expect a furniture show room would have been a lot quieter for you.
So it’s clear our address was 185 witham road Woodhall spa with huge signs clearly displayed saying HOB furniture we vacated in January 2024 to new premises as you caused endless non existent issues, maybe when you brought your property you should of not brought something next door to commercial premises,
If you have an issue with the address of the property I suggest you contact the land registry rather than leaving endless false 1 star reviews on business profiles, you have attempted for over a year to get a reaction from us, without any response as to be perfectly honest I would not entertain your nonsense it clear your mentally unstable, your continuous attempts to continue to Harass myself and the land lord of the property is only impacting you.
Your 1 star reviews are getting you know where and you are ignored for a reason.
The actual fact you would revert to a public business forum to get a reaction says a lot about the person you are.
You have had absolutely no order with us.
With regards to debt recovery agency again false and incorrect information if we had an outstanding debt with any company I would expect we would know about it considering our shops and registered address is public information along with our phone lines, it would also appear from the content of your review that you are opening post which is not addressed to yourself, that’s no surprise though as you went above and beyond to be an issue to us from the very day we took on our shop premises, however will be reported.
As I’ve mentioned previously continue to slander my business harass and threaten me then the police will be contacted.
