I bought a Makita garden blower directly at a great price with next day delivery. For the Christmas holiday period this was exceptional. However, a few days later I ordered the vacuum collection bag for the machine via eBay. There is no payment link to pay via credit card, the telephone number on the website does not get answered and 2 emails sent, 1 via eBay the other sent directly have yet to be answered. Why is a direct purchase so good but a purchase via ebay so poor?

Ordered the goods on Christmas Eve and they were with us by Thursday off the next week. I had them delivered to my sons as i was on holiday there and was thrilled when they arrived in time. Brilliant service, brilliant prices. Well done on a 1st class job!!

Realised i needed the drill on the thursday morning,ordered it online,from HOBUK,same day,received it on friday,did job on saturday brilliant!!.

i ordered a Makita 2501 petrol blower to replace a electric corded model and it is suprisingly quieter! A bit fiddly to get the blower attachment on but it's no fault of the design, it's one of those things, if you had to do it again it would be simple. The machine had oil and just needed fuel, pulled on the cord a couple of times and it started like a dream. i'm left handed which works to my advantage but if you hold it in your right hand it sucks up against your trouser leg. I took the shoulder strap of my old machine as although this machine is light is can get heavy after a few minutes. Theres enough power to blow away wet leaves even the tiny bits between the driveway slabs, although i'm one of those who likes more power!
