I have owned many pairs of Hoka shoes, and the Gaviota 5 shoes in widest size (don't like the Gaviota 6 as much) are my favorite so far. I have very wide feet with lots of foot splay, so I need sh... See more

This is the second pair of trainers that are much lighter in colour than they appear in pictures. It doesn't help giving the colours names like birch etc

Trainers received in super fast time (the following day) and exactly as described. My 2nd pair of Clifton 10’s, so I know they’ll be great. Very happy - thank you

Sent back 3 pairs of shoes and only got refunded for 2 pairs

I loved my original Bondi 8’s & have now moved onto the awesome Bondi 9’s. Very grateful to have been introduced to Hoka over 18months ago. Word or mouth seems to be how my friend first purchased too. I have a couple of pairs and they last incredibly well. Really pleased. The gortex version is quite warm in the hotter months as a minor note. Keep up the fine work. My previous review related to the DPD delivery but sure that will be rectified. Keep up the fine work.

I am writing this bad review because your business practices in Germany have been unacceptable for over two years. Your system has been declining most of my orders, and this ongoing issue not only impacts myself but also my colleagues, friends and family. Your order acceptance process is very selective and seems to be based on unknown factors. I have had successful orders with the exact same details for delivery, billing, and payment (as noted when querying the cancellation of order EU15052090), yet you declined a subsequent order.
Your customer service is extremely poor. When asked for a reason, you never proceeded reason and don't even try to fix problems. For example, in response to my query about order EU15052090, I was told the cancellation was due to an "automated internal vetting process" and that you "cannot closer explain the exact cause in the individual case". This generic, unhelpful response is a clear sign of very poor customer service and a quote train for decline.
Adding to the frustration, your German website has claimed a warehouse relocation for the at least last two years. This is simply not real and suggests a deliberate use of a false excuse for the continuous order fulfillment problems. Buyers in Germany deserve transparent and reliable service.

The shoes themselves the quality was absolutely horrendous you could spit through the material if that’s the quality of shoes you sell now good luck , I’ve had several pairs of Hoka’s great shoes , but these are awful

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience with HOKA warranty support.
I purchased a pair of HOKA shoes expecting premium quality and customer service. Unfortunately, both turned out to be far below expectations.
The material on BOTH shoes tore in almost the exact same location - on the inner side near the sole. This was clearly not random damage. What makes the situation even more frustrating is that these shoes were not even used for running or sports. I only wore them occasionally for casual walking.
Despite this, HOKA’s warranty team immediately classified the issue as “wear and tear” without providing any real explanation or evidence. Over the course of multiple emails and chat conversations, I repeatedly asked for a specific justification of their decision, but all I received were generic copy-paste responses mentioning things like “friction”, “poor fit”, “overuse”, or “accidental damage” without explaining which of these supposedly applied to my case.
At one point, I was promised responses within 3–5 days, then again within 2 business days after escalation to a supervisor. Neither deadline was respected, and I had to repeatedly follow up myself because nobody replied for long periods of time.
I even provided additional photos clearly showing symmetrical damage on both shoes and very limited outsole wear, which supported my claim that the shoes were not heavily used. This was effectively ignored as well.
What disappoints me most is not even the denied claim itself, but the complete lack of transparency, accountability, and professional communication throughout the process.
HOKA presents itself as a premium brand with premium products and customer care. However, my experience has been the exact opposite. Once a product develops an issue, the company appears unwilling to seriously investigate the problem or acknowledge potential defects, instead relying on vague and repetitive responses until the customer gives up.
I genuinely hoped to resolve this directly and professionally, but after weeks of unanswered messages and generic replies, I feel it’s important to share this experience publicly so that other customers know what to expect.

Wow ! Well what an awesome service I have now received. I bought my Hoka trainers direct , I wore them for one parkrun, found them to be unsuitable , unfortunately. After emails to Hoka , I returned them and have received my refund ! I’m inspired by your returns service , your policy and the experience I’ve had dealing with you . Truly appreciated, a wonderful customer service . Thank you ☺️
