Homebase - Alnwick Reviews 

Georgia was a brilliant help when I called to enquire about two garden sofa sets, one of which I'd already ordered on click and collect and another one which was the last one on display. Georgia gave me information over the phone about both sets and nothing was a trouble at all. Friendly and made things really easy so that I could go view the display one and purchase if I'd prefer that one. I visited the same day and went with the display set so thank you Georgia for making that option possible! A credit to the store and this is what great customer service looks like. No stress. The rest of the staff in store were also great (sorry I didn't get your names!), money was refunded for the original click and collect order. Thanks all.

Easy to order online and upon arrival at the Alnwick store staff were very obliging and quickly brought my goods.

I went to Homebase, Alnwick to buy a cordless hedge trimmer. I noted that their were two prices for the same item, £69 and £55.20 so asked at the checkout if I had the cheaper version. I was told that I needed to order it as a click and collect to get it for £55.20 and just driving to the store to go choose it meant I would have to pay £69.
My question to Homebase would be, 'If you can afford to sell it at £55.20 why not make it that price whether you just turn up and go on click and collect?'
I did try to go on click and collect while the hedge trimmer was two metres away from me, which seemed a farce. I didn't have my reading glasses, it wouldn't activate the discount or show me where to put the code and then wanted me to make an account so I gave up.
I did speak to the manager who offered me the hedge clippers for £55 but I refused as I didn't want to give Homebase my money. I won't go back.

Visited Alnwick store. Claire was so helpful, really went above and beyond

After being failed by the first two shops we checked to get gear for our archaeological field school students, the team at Alnwick Homebase got us sorted! Lovely staff, super helpful and empathetic of our rainy day plight.

Lovely staff especially the lady who gave us the picture hanging tip! I didn’t get her name but operator 222860 at the checkout. Well stocked, clean tidy shop with competitive prices. Homebase always seem to have such nice and helpful staff ( I have previously used the Blyth store on many occasions). Would definitely revisit the Alnwick shop.

Easy and efficient gentlemen that served me was friendly and helpful too totally use again

Once again, no one was at the cash registers, so I had to queue up at the customer service desk. There were already six people in the queue waiting to pay for their goods. The lady behind the desk clearly didn't want to serve us; you could tell by how she rolled her eyes. This person is always stationed at the customer service desk and gives off negative vibes.

Guys, you really need staff available to take payments for goods they want to buy. On many occasions, people just leave their items and walk out of the store due to the lack of staff.

Ordered with click and collect and the process was very easy. Order was ready sooner than promised and the staff were very helpful. All items look great.
