The customer service we received today was excellent. The young man who served us went out of his way to help us. Really friendly and polite. Would return based on this service.

Went to HB to pick up replacement wood but also to return an online item. Good experience with Dawn who politely served us.

Bought a sheet of plywood to get cut using their "wood cutting service" only to be told they wont cut it because I didnt buy it there. The shop was quite as it was a Wednesday evening, man in the wood cutting place was just standing around doing nothing so I thought it would be no problem. He refused to cut if for me, even offered to pay extra, still refused. He was rude in doing so too. Spent hundreds here this spring on home DIY and they cant help me out with 30 seconds of their time that I would pay for. They shouldn't advertise a wood cutting service online if it's not a service we can use. Will not shop here again and get my bits elsewhere.

I just love visiting Homebase in Vange. I visit often and I can't praise their service enough. No matter what I have visited there for, nothing is too much trouble. They go above and beyond finding someone that can help even though they are short staffed which is apparent, but it is everywhere these days sadly. But the staff that are there are just amazing, so friendly and helpful and are happy to help. Even when I'm being served at the checkout staff are there helping customers to their cars. You just don't get this service anywhere that I have been recently, which is a credit to Homebase. Customer service isn't what it used to be anywhere, but the store in Vange still upholds excellent customer service when others don't. I Hope the store and the staff get great recognition for the job they do.

It was easy to order the barbecue and the whole process of purchase was easy. The barbecue was ready to collect within an hour. The sales assistant was helpful.

Janet at the tills was so helpful, she went above and beyond for us! Helping us find items and being so kind. Will definitely be returning!

Paul in the Vange Basildon store was very helpful find the fixings for the mirror I bought!

I came in to buy a lawn mower and a Strimmer , 2 things I know nothing about , but I was lucky enough to talk to your colleague Selg. He was really helpful and gave me good advice on what to buy . So a big Thankyou.

We visited couple of weeks ago to but our first gas barbecue,we felt a bit lost until Seig helped us choose and gave us few tips on how to use the wood chips box for that authentic experience, also which cover to pick. Then Kier helped us to the till and even took it all and loaded in the car for us. Couldn’t be happier with how we were treated, outstanding customer service from both of them. Hope they will get some recognition for their great job they do. Thank you both

Bought a lovely outdoor patio set (Matara corner sofa dining set) and was assisted by a lad called Kier. He was extremely helpful and im not sure how but we managed to load it into my car which is a mini! I had to do 2 trips but we managed, and it’s all thanks to him.

Very helpful advice in the garden centre at The Vange store. The lady I spoke to was very knowledgeable and was able to advise me on what sort of plants to buy.

Easy ordering and easy pickup. No waiting.

Rechecked my bill as I thought it high, no issue recharge and made sure discounted goods went through the second time
