Very good customer service at poole hombase

Friendly staff, easy to collect and made to feel relaxed and happy that I've purchased the items. Shame that the Branksome branch is closing down, it's on my doorstep and easy to get too if I need stuff for home, plants for the garden or house.

Tale of two stories. Could not find an item in-store, lady who helped went above and beyond to help find the item. Then went to pay…… no customer service skills and all, no eye contact, no greeting… in fact she seemed more keen on her mobile phone than anything ….

I thought the transaction online was easy and efficient however, the girl I dealt with in store seemed miserable and aloof. For myself working in a customer facing role, I felt that she seemed irritated as if I was disturbing her and that I was an inconvenience. I was simply collecting what I had purchased!! Maybe she was having a bad day or something but, I see this sort of behaviour more and more these days. If you don't want to deal with customers when it's your job then, you need to look elsewhere.

I spoke to Willow. She was extremely knowledgeable and managed to sort out my issue immediately

Easy website to use I picked my paint, brushes, and an absolute bargain of a touch up kit.
Made my purchase at 7am and got a message to say it was all ready for collection at 8.30 even though they don't open until 9, so I picked up the lot with very quick service at the pick up point, thank you again Homebase 👍🌟

Picked my package up as advised. Box was a bit tatty - so your staff opened it to make sure it was not damaged! It wasn’t - great service! Many thanks

Really helpful and friendly staff on customer services desk for click and collect, a return without receipt and new purchases. They're a credit to you.

My problem was resolved, and I was refunded.
However, I was sent the same product on two occasions; on both it was broken (glass smashed) in transit. This is clearly the courier's fault, as there was no indication on the package that the contents were fragile.
Upon returning the item on the first occasion, I asked that the replacement was sent to the store. This did not happen, hence the second broken product.
Staff were patient and helpful. It was the system which failed.

Click and collect. Easy process ordering online. Good communication re readiness of items. Pleasant, efficient member of staff at the desk. Items promptly located and safely handed over. All good.

I can not rate the lady that helped me highly enough, from entering the shop greeted with a smile polite helpfully. The assistant went over and above to help me as my phone was out of charge and my order had not gone through she talked me through the process step by step which as more than challenging she was very patient and understanding baring in mind I had my grandson with autism with me. I really can’t rate experience highly enough

Awful experience this morning. I asked for help buying a light and was very rudely treated. To add to which this
extremely abrupt and rude assistant gave me the wrong information about the product I was buying

Quite appalling customer service and I will certainly never use Homebase again.

Great! Ordered and collected in less than an hour. No dramas. V happy 😃. Reduced by £20 plus extra 10% - result!
