Kind, friendly and pretty

I love coming here the garden centre is very colourful and the staff are soo helpful and always friendly. I’m disabled and struggle to get around but Sam saw me struggle and asked if I needed any help, she then asked me for feedback about getting around the store which I really appreciated the time she spent to listen to me

Very positive experience

The lady at the collection point was busy dealing with a man's lost order. The young lady on the checkout took my order number and had the items brought up whilst also dealing with her own queue. She was very friendly and helpful.

Robert Ingram is my knight in shining…

Robert Ingram is my knight in shining armour … AGAIN! He waved a magic wand and took ALL the stress out of my leaking bathroom and damaged flooring situation.
He is incredibly knowledgeable in both kitchen AND bathroom fitting, products and a little bit of mental therapy thrown in too!
This guy and your company he represents are the ONLY place I’d trust with my ‘castle’. Thank you, thank you!

Not very helpful

Wanted a pressure washer found out that it was out of stock, asked if I could order one told by assistant can not order in store
And did not say I could order online
What annoyed me there was 3 assistants standing there

3 out of 5 items ordered available and one of those wrong not good this time

Rang me to say 40cm pot not available although store check says they have 3 - picked remainder up staff member put it in the boot for me as 2 40ltr bags of compost included when I git home realise the rentokil moth killer (yellow) I'd ordered wasn't there but rentikil fly killer was (red) - invited of time of year I will keep it but it's £7 so not a cheap item when it's not what you ordered so only 2 out of 4 items available and correct - plus didn't notify order was ready - very pleasant girl on customer services

Was given the wrong item by Homebase ,not what I ordered and had to do a long return journey for a refund.

Delivery was excellent

Delivery was excellent. Thank you so much for taking the trouble to leave it as instructed around the back of the house under cover-much appreciated.

Could have been better …

Overall I may have been a bit harsh on my score of 3 stars, which is not a reflection of the store or staff. However, the reason being there was no communication other than the initial email saying the order had gone through. Otherwise there was no further email or text advising the lights were ready to collect or that there was a problem. When I went to see if they had been made ready for collection they were actually there. The service desk were apologetic and dealt with the collection with no problem. The lights and lady that served me were great and will continue to buy in store and I will also order online from Homebase again despite what I take was a tech glitch this time.
