Homebase - Derby Kingsway Reviews 

Just broght a fire waste garden bin , along with a few other items which id popped in the bin for ease of shopping .
On paying id actually got 3 or 4 bins theyd all stuck together , ok i should of prehaps relised that my self but all the bins in the store where very much jammed in together . They were jammed so tightly it was an easy mistake to think it was one. So that was pretty poor shop standards , impossible to seperate by yourself ,but the biggest gripe was i was a threat by the till as i went to the side to make sure the assistent had scanned all of the goods .I got told to move back in front of the till . Ive worked in retail all my life, im 58 soon , i felt humilated , that she thought i was a threat.I felt like waking out , wished i had but id already paid for the items earlier whilst i waited for the single bin & had to wait for the on floor assistant to get one from an outside , which he had said where better ....... i wont be rushing back . Shocking !

My favourite Diy store, always love the bargains. Everything is top quality, cant stop buying from Homebase, alwaÿs first store comes to mind when need something for home. Staff are always very kind and helpful.

I visited the Derby Kingsway branch and Stephen went out of his way to help me locate a table and chairs I had been looking for. He listened and took the the time to understand the specifications I required and showed me options to suit my needs. Stephen was polite, professional and attentive. Customer service skills like these are rare nowadays but Stephen provided a high quality service and I left with a purchase I was very pleased with - all thanks to Stephen. He offered and helped to take my table out to the car. You have a true asset in your team and it is this excellent customer focused approach that will bring me back to your store again. Today, I visited the Hombase store at Kingsway Retail Park in Derby.
We were looking for some decorative stones that my mum wanted, I'd seen them advertised as a clearance item, as I couldn't find them, I approached the Homebase employee that was nearby, I asked if he knew where the item may be, after showing him the item on my phone, he knew exactly where they were, he left immediately to sort the twelve stones I needed. His name was Stephen and he did an excellent job for Homebase.

It was easy to check online that the item was in stock. Item ready for collection within minutes. Collected with no fuss. Well done Homebase!

Vanessa Sims and Rhona were very helpful! Vanessa took me over to the locked up power tool I wanted, checked it over and was very friendly and efficient.

Bought Pkt. of 2 80watt flood light bulbs on line .Click and collect. Not in stock. When collecting two days later was told they had already been collected. After discussions and two phone calls assistant went away to I think to consult CCTV. She came back with packet of bulbs because manager had said to give it to me because the value was only £2. Now in stock. Then noticed the packet said 100watt not 80. Then I saw in very small letters it said 80watt =100watt in big letters. How can 100 and 80 be the same on an Halogen bulb? On close inspection it said 80watt on the bulb. A lot of waisted time on a £2 bulb.

After poor customer service and misleading items through click and collect with Argos,I visited Homebase.
Both Rachel and Ryan were extremely helpful,enabling me to purchase items I required. Great customer service guys. Thank you.
