Ready for collection

The members of staff in store were really rude to me. It was like I was an interruption to their work by asking them how I can get in touch with someone on the collection desk.
Comments like ‘heaven forbid someone has to wait 30 seconds to get their order’ I won’t be returning.

Very unhelpful staff. I’m an elderly lady and needed help with loading three 50L bags of soil onto my trolley. I managed to get someone to do it very reluctantly. Once I’d paid at the till, I asked if someone could help load them into my car. The response was ‘No’! When I asked why, I was told because he was the only member of staff! I then struggled to get them into my car resulting in a very painful back now.

I visited the Homebase store in Loudwater, High Wycombe with a particular project in mind. As I walked the store considering the quality and the prices of the equipment that I need, I was approached on seperate occasions by 2 members of staff, Andrew and Luke. Both asked me about my project which I explained, and both had very good product knowledge with which to help me. I actually made no purchase today as my visit was just for research. In light of these 2 staff members, who were very courteous as well as knowledgeable, I will be returning to make my purchases at another time.

I recently visited the Loudwater store, the staff were all very friendly. A guy named Luke was particularly helpful in recommending compost for my garden. He had great knowledge and a brilliant sense of humour!

Nobody at collection desk. Waited 10 minutes and finally had to go find somebody to come over to serve me who seem put out that I troubled him.

Reserved two pots of growmore. On collection pots dirty with broken handles. On opening, contents of one pot wet and unusable due to a hole in the base and standing out in the rain. Had to drive back to return for a refund. Very poor stock control. Item should never been offered for sale.

The online Order process was intuitive quick and efficient. I selected Click & Collect service for local store. I was updated when it was ready to collect and collection was fast and easy, with instant confirmation. The Product was good value and so far has worked as expected on first use. No complaints and no suggestions for improvement as it was as efficient and hassle free as possible. I would use again and would also recommend to others, based on this experience.

Easy to order, picked when advised, ready and on a trolley to take to the car. Staff very professional. All very smooth!

I found the deal I needed ordered at collected without fuss.

The items I ordered were for my garden and are much better than I expected, now to decide where to put them.
As I’m housebound I have to rely on online shopping so really pleased with everything I’ve ordered from Homebase. Thank you to everyone at Homebase for your help. Just wish bedding plants were available through Click and Collect

Friendly staff and helped put item in my vehicle for me as I’m disabled

Ordered goods online for collection. Received text saying they were ready. Went to collect same day. System worked well. Only dropped 1* because one item was incorrect but I noticed on collection and the error was rectified. Staff friendly & helpful.

Helped greatly by two members of staff.
Lewis was very knowledgeable and had all the answers I needed, then later in the visit, Gordon pointed out a promotion I wasn’t aware of - so I ended up getting a buy-one-get-one free on seeds. Who doesn’t like a free packet of sweet pea seeds?
I win!
Seriously though, both guys were a credit to the store.
