Homebase is closing on the 15th Feb 25. Most of the stock has been sold off. Aldi have bought the premises.

Disgraceful attitude
Bought 2 x2litre pots of emulsion. Both smelled appalling, water on top, thick lumpy sludge underneath .Clearly gone off. Very rude assistant said won't refund or exchange and I had no customer rights as company just gone onto receivership.

Very easy to order online
Very easy to order online, and the collection process was quick. However I ordered the batteries due to an online offer, but when I spoke to the member of staff at the collection point, they said you could have just got them in store for the same price.
Not sure why they are advertised as online only, but I got a good deal.

Staff were knowledgeable and polite so felt bad leaving a review less than 4* but there are rodents everywhere. I saw 5 different rats/mice on my visit just running around the shop! Looks like they’ve been nibbling away at the tiles section and the seed isle has a lot of droppings down it. They have even put the seed in plastic boxes I assume to prevent them eating. I would recommend not coming here if you are vulnerable/ have respiratory illnesses as my mother could die if in contact with these vermin

Kitchen designer has done a great plan and met my requirements perfectly. Has recommended great kitchen fitters. Has been very helpful in sorting out changes in appliances due to AO being unable to deliver on time and me changing my mind on the washer/dryer.

Staff are wonderful, nothing is a problem for them, they are always happy to advise, locate items, take things to the car, listen, smile, respectful, a real asset to any business anywhere.
