I have shopped at the Oldbury store for years and the staff just continue to be excellent at all times. Advice always on point regardless what area of home improvements I was tackling.

Top price first class service

I went to the store and was unsure of what I needed to complete a task in my Garden. I asked for help and Kham was very willing to help me, he asked what I was looking for, and even though I was unsure as exactly what I needed, he helped by showing me options, and helped me make the right choice. I was very grateful for his help and knowledge. He is a credit to the company, please pass on my compliment. Kind regards

I ordered 3 plants, 2 of which were not in good condition. One plant had 90% browned and dried leaves and the other was withered.
This caused me to request changing the plants, to which the staff member replied that it was ok to do so. However, he then followed up with, “ perhaps next time you should pick your own in store”. Fair enough, but the thing is, I’ve never collected plants in awful condition and would never expect to do so at any establishment.

Big thanks to Theresa on the customer service desk. We were confused with an online order when we went in but she helped us out. She even placed the order for us. Thanks fot your help

Massive thanks to Wayne at the Oldbury store. We were checking that we were placing the right order online as they didn't have some in stock, Wayne not only assured us that they were correct, but also helped us place the order in store with the tiles we wanted. We were confused when we went in... extremely satisfied when we left!

After checking out so many companies for our kitchen we decided to buy from Homebase.
Our kitchen planner Suzette was brilliant, very helpful, she arranged our kitchen so it worked well and looked amazing

Absolutely excellent customer service at the Oldbury branch of Homebase! Kerry, Theresa, Raju and Harry were very polite, helpful and professional. I received an excellent service with collection of products ordered online using click and collect. I also received an excellent service when paying for additional goods I purchased. Theresa immediately called a nember of staff (Harry) to take a large items (garden chairs) to the car. Harry made sure they fit in the car securely. Kerry and Raju took the large number of cushions I purchased from me at the till with great care. They handled the velvet cushions I purchased with great care ensuring that they did not get dirty by putting in a clear bag. Fantastic staff!

Fast delivery keep up date when be delivered great experience

I went to the oldbury store on Friday when the card machines were down, Andy was stood outside the store letting people know that it was cash only, I made a joke saying oh well I won't be painting my decking today then we laughed and I went to walk away when Andy called me back and said I could try click and collect, that online transactions was still going through and that I'd just have to wait for it to be picked. So i did this, as soon as the order came through to their screens Andy made sure my order was picked straight away, he brought my order to the front of the store for me and my decking still got painted . . Thankyou for your help Andy!

Don’t normally leave feedback but on this occasion it is essential. I wanted to buy a fire bin but noticed the bins were stuck together I asked other customers to help but no luck. I asked a young gentleman he tried but he couldn’t get it out, so he asked for help from “Robbo” he couldn’t either. The staff could have easily said sorry it can’t be done but the young gentleman found Kerry and she struggled for about 10 minutes and managed to get it out for me. I really appreciate the effort the team went to get the bin out. I personally would have said it’s not for sale but they went out the way and got the bin out for me. Excellent customer service by the team. All need to be recognised for their help.

Great customer service. All items were lovely and good quality. One item was the last left and had a few scratches. They knocked off half of the price

Rude, biase customer service by staff KERRY who disclosed her self as the manager. We attended the Oldbury store 20.07.24 for laminate flooring. Online and instore advertising a special offer of 15% off every 4 packets purchased. Me and my family were at the till being served by this Rude manager "Kerry". My purchase is in the process of being calculated and kerry has provided us if an incorrect calculation. I informed Kerry that the calculation is incorrect as we used Homebase website calculation resource. I had my phone in my hand as i was double checking the calculation. Kerry had taken/ removed my phone out of my hand as I informed again that her till calculation is incorrect with out permission. At this point I believe that kerry did not believe us. Kerry then had taken out a phone and was checking the Homebase website. I extended my index finger out to scroll down and kerry stated " can you mot touch my phone" my immediate reaction was...you have just taken my phone without MY permission...lady don't play with me. After I expressed this and Kerry not being able to apply my 15% off. She called another member of staff Charlotte. Charlotte was the store assistant manager and was able to apply the discount. Hopefully the store had CCTV show this interaction as this will be escalated further. The customer service From this lady is diabolical. This experience has left us with poor bitter experience and will not be shopping here again. Charlotte was amazing and the store needs a lot more staff like her and the young black boy who was assisting us with the flooring.

Great customer service fast pickup very friendly staff will be back to shop again 👍
