Homebase - Waltham Cross Reviews 

I made a trip to buy some planters in the 4 for 3 offer and whilst at the Waltham Cross branch spoke with a really knowledgeable team member called Michelle. Each time I have met her at the store she has given me valuable advice about the plants I have purchased and how to get the best out of them when planting them in containers. She has excellent knowledge about the plants in the store, helped me to choose suitably sized pots and gave me pointers regarding extending my knowledge. She was patient, friendly and inspired me to develop my gardening ability.

I was assisted by a lady called Michelle in the garden area.

She was very friendly and approachable.
She went out of her way to be helpful. Not just answering a question but walking around the plants and bushes with me making suggestions, which was great!

Michelle clearly new her Job as she was very knowledgeable about the plants and bushes. Also about the stones.

There was also a man who was helpful and helped me with the manure into the car as there was on Wednesday when I came.

Michelle was very helpful going out of her way to help me identify a plant in my garden. Michelle then suggested plants I could grow that would attract wildlife and possibly hedgehogs to eat the slugs.

With the revamped store well organised, my order was ready and help available to load the lawnmower into my car. All staff were pleasant and happy in their work.

The member of staff new exactly where the product ( a wooden thermometer) I wanted was and escorted us to the appropriate shelf where it was located. This was not the case in the 2 B&Q stores that I visited previously who were not helpful and could not find the product I wanted on their store shelves.

Super quick click and colletion option. Variety of products to suit everyone. Excellent customer service in store too!

Found what I needed online, checked availability at my local store, ordered on click and collect, received message the next day saying it ready. Went to the store, gave them the order number and picked up my order. So easy to do.

The staff member advised me on what soil was required for the purchase of my 3 miniature trees, one being a citrus and the other an ornamental species. Had she not been so knowledgeable, I’d have not purchased any of them. She was polite, businesslike but appropriately warm. Clearly full of horticultural knowledge which she imparted readily, enthusiastically and positively. Thank you Michelle. I wish I could award you more stars.

I spoke with Michelle in the gardening department who was very helpful and knowledgeable, very pleasant and very happy as she explained the different plants I should choose for my garden.

My Husband and I went to your Waltham Cross branch this morning and meet Michelle who was very helpful showing us the things we needed as the shop is being renoved. Her knowledge on the products really helped and we came away with all we needed and £156.00 lighter in our pocket 🤣. Thanks Michelle.

I can honestly say during my experience with Homebase within the showroom department Denise Tytler has been an absolute professional that helped me during the process of designing me a fitted wardrobe after excelling all of my expectations and making my plan happen, I do recommend her expertise to anyone who wants perfection.

Online order was ready when i went to the store. Collection process was easy and quick
