Missing items from order
Placed a large order of tools for my business, the order was missing 3 big ticket items when it arrived. I've now spent about 2 hours dealing with customer service after they twice issued incorrect refund amounts. Useless.
Delivery company was to call the day…
Delivery company was to call the day before the order was to be delivered and they didn’t. They were going to drop it off in front of the garage door where they would have blocked my wifes vehicle where she had an appointment that if missed would have been another 6 month wait. Thank goodness my daughter saw and it was moved. Home Depot you need to remind the delivery company that o have better customer service.
Poor customer service
H.D. St.Annes rd Winnipeg.
Very sad that customer service has declined significantly over the past few years.
Today I waited over 20 minutes to have someone help answer a specific question I needed about one of their products.
I was passed from one person to another who never arrived to answer my questions.
When I followed up and asked again, that person was not available. That would be 20 minutes of my life standing in front of the customer service desk waiting for help.
I’m still no farther ahead than I was when I walked in to their stores
There’s no shortage of staff chatting to each other, but apparently no one was available to help me.
So very disappointing so very frustrating. I give a zero for customer service.
"Olympic Triumph stain
Purchase four cans of "Olympic Triumph - Atlas Cedar last August / September 2025 for my $15000 deck. Applied as instructed by directions on website and cans. Now after this winter my expensive deck looks like crap!!!!! Company contacted for suggestions on how to fix, not looking for refund even, but will not talk to me with receipts. Who keeps can of stain receipts for 8 months ago? Not sure what I am going to do now, Home Depot should be ashamed of selling this inferior product!!!!

Great customer service
March14th,2026
March14th,2026. 2 taps 2 bathroom sinks. If I could rate this company with a zero they would get a zero.
I ordered two faucets and two bathroom sinks on February 22. I’m doing this review on March 14 still have not have them installed although I paid to have them installed.
I received a phone call shortly after the order was given to make an appointment. The message told me to call to make an appointment which I did several times couldn’t get anybody that spoke English and I mean without exaggeration, they couldn’t speak English. The left hand didn’t know what the right hand was doing.
Finally contacted a person that could speak English and said the only order she has is to install two faucets she had nothing about the sinks so I went ahead and called the store to make a complaint. They said they’re trying to fix what was wrong but hadn’t heard back from them.
Called the online service again and they said that they couldn’t make an appointment to have it installed until the items were delivered. Well this was within the two weeks of the last week in February and the first week in March and still didn’t have the sinks or the faucets.
When the sinks and faucets arrived I called for an appointment, they scheduled to have it installed on the 12th between 7am- 12pm on the 12th.
We received a call from the service guy who said he will be there between one and three to install the faucets. He knew nothing about the sinks. I’m now going to take the sinks back in the faucets to retrieve my money for the items and the installation and they will not them charge me 15% restocking fee as stated in the contract.
This is the most incompetent company that I’ve ever dealt with. Oh one other thing I run a very busy practice and I got frustrated dealing with the incompetence so I passed it over to my wife and made sure that they called my wife instead of me but instead I started receiving phone calls again from the online store.
I would suggest one of two things, Home Depot hire Canadians that speak English to handle the phone business or fire management who’s in charge of the line store because the incompetence is way off the scale. And yes the phone service crackled and hung up while on the phone having to call back to someone who doesn’t speak English.

I am a disabled person and have been a long time purchaser at the North Bay Ontario Home Depot.
I ordered a few sheets of 4 x 8 drywall thinking they would be delivered in my home. When the lone driver got here to deliver, he told me that they don’t deliver inside and so he wanted to put these drywall sheets outside, standing against the house in this slushy snow. I was truly disgusted because they’ve always brought the material in… What if it was ann Appliance,? .. I bet they would have an answer for that one… I told him to take the stuff back and I went and returned a bunch of other stuff I bought and got my money back.. both managers came out and didn’t even try to fix the problem… after all, I’ve been shopping there since this store is opened and have never deviated anywhere else but there.. no wonder Rona is getting bigger with more business…
This place is still doing it
This place is still doing it. First of all they discriminate. Never call and allow them to call you back, WILL NEVER HAPPEN, THEY DON'T CALL YOU BACK. I don't know what's in their heads but they want to cater to french not canadians. Everything starts with french, you cant get thru calling unless you tell them your not french. They also play the game where you cannot access their web site on your phone unless you accept their terms,,, WHAT LOOSERS. I stopped shopping there 4 years ago and will NEVER go back!
Constant delays and damaged product
Constant delays, poor quality product, damaged product, no accounbilty
Seriously injured then gaslit
Despite my landlord paying for removal of the old oven and the terms explicitly only mentioning having to disconnect the oven, the extremely rude delivery person forced me, a disabled terminal cancer patient to move an oven to the floor. I was unable to arrange for someone to be there to help because no calls about delivery time were made to me or the landlord. I was seriously injured but Home Depot didn’t care at all. They lied about the name of the contracted delivery company to prevent further complaints and forced me to talk to an insurance tpa refusing to handle it. The insurance lady was snarky, lectured me on my getting upset and tried to gaslight and provoke me until I cried and eventually gave up on any claim. Don’t order from Home Depot. Zero human decency at any point of their organization or associated vendors.
no respect for clients. no real communications
On february 06, 2026, I went to Laval store, and purchased a range and a fridge, total above 4,000.00 including delivery and installation. Delivery was supposed to take place today, the seventeen. Yesterday, at 4:15 PM, got a call from homedepot, cancelling the delivery because they did not get the product. No other info, no date. This morning, I have been calling, in vain the number they gave for info. Nothing. I am going this morning to cancel the order and get my money. Never again. such a disrespect for the customer.

Home Depot Customer Service
Home Depot Customer Service
I purchased a microwave stand from Home Depot for $380, expecting a durable, high-quality item given the price point.
The delivery took several weeks longer than originally promised, though this delay was not a major concern at the time. Upon receipt, I began assembly and immediately noticed clear signs of inferior materials and construction.Forty-five days after purchase,
I contacted customer service to request a refund due to the poor quality. My request was denied because I was past the 30 day return policy because of their late delivery. I was informed that a return would have been possible after 30 days only if I had used a Home Depot credit card (which I did not use), despite the item showing obvious quality issues from the start.
Now, seven months later, the stand is literally falling apart with less than regular use as I am only home on weekends.
This item falling apart is not due to misuse or a single defect, but rather consistent poor quality in design and materials. I believe Home Depot should stand behind the products it sells, especially at this price level, and address such clear cases of substandard merchandise more effectively.Unfortunately, this experience has left me disappointed and unlikely to make future purchases without greater assurance of product quality and fair support.
Don't Waste your time with Home Depot.
Tried calling a couple of home depot stores, one in Edmonton Alberta, and one in Sherwood Park. I don't know who the moron was that automated their phone lines, But they don't work!! Is it that hard to have functioning phone lines?? If you don't want customers, just say so!! I will Never shop at home depot in the future.. Scabby company!!
Good experience ngl
Had some nice guy help me and my mom left some heavy concrete onto the orange thingy and Lucas helped us load it into the car 10/10 would shop there again
We purchased a washer and dryer set…
We purchased a washer and dryer set (stacked unit) from Home Depot, along with a microwave. From the very beginning, the communication regarding delivery has been extremely poor and frustrating.
We were told the microwave would be delivered yesterday. No one called, no one showed up, and there was zero explanation. Only later did we find out that it was not delivered at all.
Then we were informed that the washer and dryer will not be delivered until sometime in March — information we were never told at the time of purchase. We also did not know that the microwave and the washer/dryer would be delivered separately. All of this information came a day late, and only after we followed up ourselves.
Dates keep changing: one date is given, then the next day we’re told a completely different one. There is no clear timeline, no proactive communication, and no consistency. At this point, we have no idea when we will actually receive our appliances.
For a company like Home Depot, this level of disorganization and lack of communication is very disappointing. I would not recommend ordering appliances with delivery from here.
I purchased a washer
I purchased a washer. It malfunctioned during warranty. They can't find parts. Ten days later, no parts, no machine. Just the run around " killing time" and avoiding honoring the warranty. I will NEVER purchase anything from this low life store.
Their installation “professionals” are…
Their installation “professionals” are barely trained with no actual background or experience. They will send you a dishwasher installer instead of a plumber. As soon as anything goes wrong, they have no clue, then you have to hire a plumber anyway. Hire educated professionals not Home Depot workers.
Ordered and paid for an upright freezer…
Ordered and paid for an upright freezer in. October 2025. First delivery December 3, the product arrived damaged. The replacement was supposed to be delivered January 14. Took the day off work to receive the freezer. Get a call that freezer is not being delivered. New delivery date January 28. Freezer arrives damaged. Cannot even get a hold of a manager. Keep being told that it will be 48hrs to speak with a manager. Nobody seems to care at all. What a joke!!!
