Top 5 star product was a scam that I couldn't return
The product I purchased was a fake, when I tried to reach out to the seller, they never responded. I was surprised because they were a very top Jellycat seller. I'm just going to assume this is a counterfeit website for the most part. I don't even mind counterfeits if they're clear on being fake, but this one is just a scam. The product also felt very cheap so all in all they messed me over.

They protect sellers that ship low quality counterfeit goods
Hood.de allowed counterfeit products to be sold on their platform and protected the sellers even after being notified. We provided clear proof that the items were fake (incorrect tags, manipulated barcodes, poor quality, illegal shipping origin), yet Hood refused to act.
Instead of taking responsibility, Hood intentionally delayed the process: they asked us to wait for the sellers, extended deadlines twice, and continued sending generic replies until the PayPal dispute window expired. As a result, we could no longer open a PayPal case for multiple counterfeit orders.
This was not an accident — Hood’s handling clearly favored the sellers and left us without buyer protection. Extremely unprofessional behaviour for a marketplace that claims to ensure safe trading.
