AVOID THIS COMPANY! They also go by Ottilia and Sugar. I ordered from them four months ago! two bikinis. They have been telling me the order is shipping soon every time I ask for 3 months. Finally I asked for a refund a month ago and they sent an email saying my order was shipped but they did not include any shipping information. I patiently waited. 1 month later and no order has arrived. I email them asking for tracking number and they say that the order should be arriving any day now but UPS has the tracking information and they have to contact UPS to resend the info to me. UPS never sent me anything in the first place. Also, is it not the company's job to send the customer the tracking info with the shipping email???? They are gas-lighting, rude, and refusing to give me a refund or tracking info so at this point they have stolen money from me and I had to dispute the transaction with my bank.

Ordered a piece for my wedding. So many issues - initially the order "got lost" and did not arrive for six months!!!
When I finally heard back from the company, the piece again took months to come in, and when it did it was very poorly manufactured - the bathing suit top elastic was so loose compared to the cups that it wrinkled and stuck out when worn.
The matching belt was made with BEIGE material which completely clashed with the white bathing suit and was not at all what was pictured.
The bottoms came with gems all over them which was different than the photo.
The top did not have ruffles as pictured in the photo.
Essentially I received a completely different bathing suit than I ordered, with terrible quality.
The second item I ordered (a necklace) ended up being out of stock after I paid for it, and she would not refund my money. I instead was forced to purchase something else - what I got was a cheap sarong which is not worth wearing.
In the end I had nothing to wear for my destination beach wedding and ended up wearing an old plain black bathingsuit. Probably the worst purchasing experience I have ever had.

Ordered 2 bathing suits only recivee one. After 8 months she promised me to send it and make me a free throw over. Never received anything or any reply back. Out $300

No idea how this company in still in business. Absolute SCAM! A year and a half and still waiting on my purchase. Numerous complaints made to just be blocked from there site and no refund! The owner of this site should be ashamed of themselves.

Hi i have purchased swimsuits from this company and i must say they are gorgeous. Karmel is a very lovely helpful young lady...will be buying more!!!!

Love all my products from this company. Never have had a bad experience. Customer service is quick and responsive , the chat feature now is awesome. They offer free Canadian shipping which saves a lot ! Even though the prices can seem expensive if you're a VIP you get tons of promos and discounts.
Wait times are much lower then in the past and lots of different rush and shipping options.
I ordered Chanelle in pink and a lace custom one and the XL fit my DD chest and M fit my bottoms and I usually wear a medium or large . pretty accurate sizing.
The quality is awesome as well.
Will definitely purchase again!

I dont understand how this business is still legally running. Now under the name "Ottilia and Sugar" (which by the way is at least their 5th name change in the past 2 years because she continues to SCAM people of their hard earned money).

I have ordered from this company ONCE and NEVER WOULD AGAIN! Ive written a review already on Trustpilot a while back about my extremely horrible experience with Karmel and this company but I had to again because im so sick and tired of hearing about my friends and other people getting RIPPED OFF by her.

She ONLY sends "luxury" bikinis to people who have a large following on social media in hopes it will bring her more business by them posting a picture and tagging her in it. So if you DONT have a large social following, I can promise you will either not receive a bikini at all and be out a couple hundred bucks OR like me, after emailing a billion times and finally threatening her legally, youll receive a couple pieces of fabric that are so incredibly horribly put together and FARTHEST from LUXURY. Karmel will then use YOUR MONEY to go on luxury trips and buying herself designer items.

KARMEL do you get off by ripping people off?! You give us small business owners such a bad rep and im just writing this review AGAIN in hopes it will help someone save their money and time from ever purchasing from your company. Get your fricken s*it together already!!

I asked them if they could do a custom piece for me and sent them reference photos. They said they could do it and will be asking their crystal supplier. I’ve literally contacted them February and it’s now July. 5 months no updates later. Useless customer service.

This company does not deserve any stars. I can’t believe the owner of this company isn’t in prison for how badly they’re scamming customers. First of all, this company claims to sell “luxury bikinis, resort wear and Swarosvki covered bikinis”, I’ve purchased 2 pieces when they were on sale and the quality was absolutely atrocious. Whoever packaged my order clearly did not care because it was just thrown into a plastic fedex bag with no protection or wrapping of the suit. I actually thought that it was a joke when I saw how poorly and unprofessionally my package came. You charge over 250 dollars for your bikinis yet can’t spend another few bucks on protecting your “luxury wear” during shipment? Besides the point, I was just relieved my order came in time for the festival I was attending. When I wore one of the suits, 4 of the crystals (which by the way, aren’t even secured on.. THEY ARE GLUED ON…) came off completely! I wasn’t even moving a lot, this was very early in the night. I guess I’m lucky my order even came because it took over 2 months and I got the regular sizing and not custom order. I almost called my bank to dispute the order and I only got my order after e-mailing this company A MILLION TIMES to let them know I will be taking legal action. This company is seriously a joke, hence why they had to change the name from Smooch to Ottilia & Sugar. I’ve literally never had such a horrible experience with a company before and it was a headache to deal with them. Please don’t order from this company and don’t support this mess.

If I could rate negative stars I would, this website is %100 a SCAM. Don't waist your TIME and money.

Hey I’m getting sick of the run around. I ordered a lux bunny swim suit in May of 2018 order #1144 on your shopfiy website. My order never arrived and I never got a tracking number. Please either refund me or send me a swimsuit. I am tired of this no reply on email, messenger, etc. It’s incredibly frustrating.

I ordered the swimwear on 20.4.2018 now its march 2019 still didnt get it, she blocked me on the instagram, doesnt respond on emails. Don’t buy anythinf from her.

I ordered a bathing suit back in June 2018 and it is now the end of February of 2019........it’s been 8 months and still nothing. I have emailed and direct messaged on several occasions and been ignored. I’ve asked for a timeline of when I would receive my product and or If I could get a refund instead but still have yet to get a reply. I usually don’t like to make nor have I ever made a complaint on websites like these until now but come on. I am nurse and I work hard for money and I’m sure like anyone else who never received there product after spending a serious amount of money on these bathing suits are a little bit chapped. I still follow the Instagram page and I don’t appreciate the fact that the business owner is posting all these bathing suits that are in the making for her customers and I can’t even get a response...what am I chop liver????? Not impressed, customer service sucks and product is non existent. You have left a very bad taste in my mouth and creating trust issues for other small companies that are actually reliable.

I am sad to see so many girls trying to ruin this companies name . Been a customer FOREVER .. as long as I can remember and always had a great experience ! There was some issues years ago but I’m so happy to see that they have rectified everything (I’ve ever had an issue:) ) Such pretty swimsuits and such amazing quality!! Really nobody else makes suits as nice as these ones .
I know from owning my own small business if you pss off one customer with too much time on their hands they will take to the internet and these days it’s so easy to make up things online to harm a company . These people don’t even have the facts right . It’s run by several females (I know them ) not just one and you don’t even have the names correct .
I hope Ottilias REAL customers start taking the time to write real reviews because they really are one of a kind !

I also think it’s quite easy to see the hundreds of photos of customers wearing their suits all over every social media outlet . I think that says enough that whoever is making these reviews is not telling the real story. Clearly people all over the world are wearing them !

Me and my girls will always wear them and nearly every female I know as well wears Ottilia :) <3 <3. Supporter for life girls !

Horrible!!! She lies, after a month I asked where my suits were. She said oh I’m out of stock on this fabric. After a month you haven’t even made the suits?!! So she says she can get it to me before our trip once the material comes in. I email asking if the suit is still on track and going to make it. She says yep mailing it out today. Don’t receive it. I email again asking for the tracking information. She does send me it, showing she sent the suit a week later than what she said! So won’t get it for our trip after she had 2 months!!!! Scam artist!!!!

I am writing this to make people aware of this company and not to order from karmel franklin who is the girl who makes bathing suits , house of smooch and all of the other names she now tries to scam people out of there money , I am urging everyone who has been ripped off by this girl to contact the Vancouver sun and maybe if enough of us do it they will run our story and save many more people from loosing money to this girl who obviously is traveling the world on our dime , also if you want to know who is screwing us over google karmel franklin she is online giving an interview on how she started out and telling more lies .

I have always loved this company. All my orders always go above and beyond my expectations. I have purchased for myself as well as for my daughter and friends in the past as gifts.

I know so many women who love this company and love their products , I honestly think the bad reviews must be personal as I have never heard anything bad from word of mouth from people, only ever amazing things.

Keep up the amazing work ladies, your products shine for themselves :)

I ordered 4 months ago - and never received (just like everyone else on here). I messaged Karmen multiple times, she would reply and say she would ship it soon, then eventually she completely stopped replying to me. $300 gone. Don't order anything from Smooch/Ottillia as its a scam!!! This happened to both myself and my good friend, don't take the risk :(

I can’t believe this company is even legally allowed to stay open this woman is a thief! I ordered a bikini in MAY and it is 3 days away from September and I have received nothing... unless you count lies and bs! They ignore messages and emails for months and are rude when they finally respond to you. When they do respond they beat around the bush, lie about the status or whereabouts of the bikini and or/refund and then ghost halfway through the conversation. I now have to go through PayPal and file and formal complaint and try to get my money back. Never in my life have I experienced customer service as bad as this. This company should be shut down please never EVER shop here ladies.
