***BEWARE!!! ORDER AT OWN RISK!!!***

Originally I had ordered from this company back in early spring when they were under the name of Smooch. It did take eight weeks to receive my swimsuit but I did receive it and I loved it, which led me to order from this company again. However this last experience has been completely different than before and very similar to many others as I’m finding out while doing my research on the company which is now called Ottilia Collection.

I ordered back on June 25th and send an email asking for my suits to be ready and delivered to me no later than July 25th as I was ordering these suits for very specific events, I immediately received an email ensuring me that the turn around time was about three weeks. July 25th came and went, I began sending emails asking if my suits were on their way, I finally received an email on July 31st apologizing and telling me that they would overnight the swimsuits to my hotel (at this point I was already traveling to my destination) I gave them my hotel information, needless to say the swimsuits never came and I emailed almost everyday asking for a tracking number and if the suits had been sent out. When I returned home I begun to send emails again letting them know that I was back home and still hasn’t received my suits. I sent several emails without any response. August 14th I sent an email letting them know that if someone didn’t respond I was going to have to dispute the charges and file them as fraudulent activity, there was still no response. That day I looked up the company online and the sight was down, I looked up thier Instagram account and realized there were no comments on thier posts for months which became a huge red flag to me, I immediately called my bank and began the dispute process. A few days later I was warning my girlfriend of this company and I went to pull up the sight again and to my surprise it was up and revamped, there was even a chat link which had never been there before, I insta messaged right away and was told that the chat was only for navigation of the sight and questions about the swimsuits but if I sent an email I would get a response to my issues with my order. Two days later I finally received an email apologizing for no response and was told they would immediately get started on my suits so that they could send them out this weekend (this was Aug 23rd). I was quite upset and responded wanting to know why I had been told on July 31st that my suits were being overnighted if they hadn’t even been made yet! I asked for the suits to be to my home by Monday Aug 27th and for someone to immediately respond to me. No response. This morning, Monday Aug 27th still no response. I check thier Instagram account again and notice a few positive comments complimenting the photos and the suits in the photos, I decided to post a comment with my issue, within three seconds I received a DM telling me to email them with my order number, my email, my name and my address, I told them I had already done that several times without any response. No response and within seconds my comment had been deleted.

Since this I’ve reported them to Instagram as a scam as well as thier other sight dedicated to mommy and me swimsuits.

Please report this company! These suits are expensive and it’s a shame that so many women are being taken advantage of especially when on their sight they “strive to empower women”. Absolute BS.

If I could give zero stars, I would rate them @ zero stars.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

I placed a ~$520 order on April 12, 2018. My package was going to be shipped internationally, so it would've taken a little longer, which I was aware of.

On May 27th, I received an email stating that my items had been shipped, which made sense to me. On their website, it says that these handmade bathing suits would take about a month to be made. I checked on my order status and there was not a tracking number provided, so I figured I'd give them some time to update the information

Come June 13th, I still did not see a tracking number so I emailed them and got a response fairly quickly. They had told me that the shipping confirmation was an error and that my order was scheduled to be shipped the next Tuesday.

On June 15th, I emailed again to see if I could change my shipping method to a faster method, but I didn't get a response from them.

Fast forward to July 12th, I never received my order and emailed them again... no response. At this point I was quite annoyed with the situation and decided to see if I could look up their business phone number and give them a call.

After googling " smooch swimwear phone number", I discovered a MASSIVE AMOUNT of complaints about this company, and about the same issue I was having... PEOPLE ORDER, and NEVER GET THEIR ITEMS.

I called my bank, and good thing they have a longer dispute policy ( 120 days after your credit card has been charged, some places are 90 days)
My bank immediately contacted them, and gave them 45 days to respond, which they didn't. Here we are, August 23rd, OVER A PERIOD OF 4 MONTHS, I got my money back. I guess I'm a bit lucky in this situation compared to so many others that got scammed by Karmel Ottilia.

I can't really say its a scam, I have no proof of that, but this lady claims that people make up bad reviews on purpose. I can guarantee you that this happened to me.

How Karmel Ottilia runs her store is beyond anything I have ever dealt with. SUPER unprofessional, and yes in the end it really just seems like a scam. People order things, and they get ignored, and they never get their items.

Another thing is, the original site I ordered from is now "under construction" and has been for the last couple months after I placed my order in April, you guys can check for yourselves , houseofsmooch[DOT]com . They have, since then, changed their website to ottiliacollection[DOT]com, and apparently this is the working website for this company now.

GET YOUR SH!T TOGETHER KARMEL!!!!!!! WHAT YOU'RE DOING IS WRONG.

Don't not buy from this company, spent 400 dollars in February and never received the bikinis, messaged them and nothing. This company is a total scam!!!

Do not order your bikinis here!!! After 8 months still nothing...

I’ve been waiting TWO YEARS for her to send me my bikini. I’ve emailed so many times, sometimes getting a reply saying she’s so sorry and she’s sending it that weekend. Nothing. Ever. It’s been 2 years. And now she just doesn’t respond. I was always so polite and patient telling her I understood and that it’s no problem. I got completely walked all over and hundreds of dollars spent to get nothing in return and to have spent the last 2 years frustrated and upset about it. I just can’t let it go. It was so expensive

I never recieved the bikini . Has been in contact with costumer service Manu times and they keep telling me they Will take Care of the order personaly . But nothing happens . It is over 2 months now . When i made a comment on Their Instagram page they blocked me and 3 of my Girl friends AS well ! So bad ! Dont buy any thing from here !

Wish I can do zero stars thief company you never received your orders and they don’t refund and they lie all the time

I ordered a bathing suit March 24th and it is now June 17th. I have emailed three times regarding my order with no reply! After this I started researching the company online and it turns out they have SO MANY BAD REVIEWS! I felt so stupid for blindly ordering from an unknown company.... I now know I have been scammed! DO NOT BUT FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

My sister ordered from "Smooch Swimwear" in March 2018, spending over $200, and she still has yet to receive anything and the funds have long been taking from her account. At first she messaged and asked for an update on the order during the month of April but as the time went on, they have stopped responding to her all together. I get online to search reviews and all I see is nothing but TERRIBLE reviews of the EXACT SAME situation. This company is exactly what your subconscious mind is thinking, SCAM SCAM SCAM, too expensive and too good/nice to be true. ALWAYS DO RESEARCH BEFORE ORDERING FROM RANDOM ONLINE "CUSTOM" SHOPS.

I’m unlucky one that didn’t read reviews and bloody trust a company. I have ordered a dress for my wedding in February and asked them if it’s gonna come before June 1. They said yea. It’s now the end of May and I’m bloody angry and wanna crash the whole company . I still have no dress the delivery was 49$ i! Dress 100$. I messaged them again and they said they had troubles and other stupid excuses.They said I will receive it sure before May 16 but still nothing. It’s been 4-5 months they are just scum ! They ruined my wedding, it was a beach dress nice looking it’s just horrible, I’m in tears because nothing I can do I just have to buy another dress it’s disgusting I swear I wish they all loose everything one day for what they did to me.
Fake tracking number, website seems like under relocation, instagram no selling bio anymore they are dogs!
Never buy anything from them trust me!

Wish I had read these sooner. Never got my swimsuit for my bachelorette party. After SEVERAL lies from the owner about shipping my order nothing came of it. Save your time and money!!!

honestly if i can give them a 0 i would!! they are the worst company I have ever dealed in my entire life. They not only took 4 months to send me the order but they also send me the wrong item, after so many times going back and forth they didn't reply my email so I had to write to them through Instagram. They were so nasty when I complain about the item that I received and they still haven't resolved my issue. Don't ever buy from them!!!!!

Bought a bikini and gave them 3 months to make/ship it. At the end of month 2 I started asking where the order is and they sent me a fake shipping notification (who does that!), after two weeks of nothing in my mailbox I called my credit card and disputed the charges. I guess I was lucky that it was within 60 day period so they put a stop payment to the company. AND ONLY AFTER THAT did they send my suit to me (I just wanted my money back at this point).

In terms of quality, it does look like the pictures but is completely unwearable, it goes see through as soon as you get it wet, no proper lining, rhinestones are glue gunned to the fabric.

This is a SCAM business and the owner (you know who you are) should be embarrassed and ashamed for taking people's money like that! How do you live with yourself ripping all these people off????

UPDATE: I guess this company re-branded themselves as "Ottilia", I guess trying to get away from all the reviews people are posting.

Bikini never came - I’m furious - I’ve spent so much money - this is a complete scam. Do not buy from here - at all! I’d leave no stars if I could. What a joke. Their Instagram looks fabulous - it’s utterly convincing. Dirty scammers! Do not be fooled. I hope this company gets shut down.

Honestly loved them early on!!! 1st bikini was in 2014 and everything was beyond amazing, so original, you could tell ALL was hand made...well didn’t order for a couple years as I started to see a lot of china made bikinis (which can be very awesome btw) but they were bedazzling them and selling them, huge turn off, wanted to complain back then as I already owned the 20$ pre-dazzled version. I have 3 gorgeous bikinis already from them and really wanted another! Took advantage of a 11/11 sale...that sounds even worse now that I look at the sale! Like really??? Omg so much wrong where to start (besides the obvious)??? New Years dress/coverups ect you can all find on eBay and every bikini designer and their cousin had the “rip tide” come out and the she’s lacy is a huge rip off of bikini crush, they even ripped off the cut outs later on) I’m just mostly annoyed by the lack of using any of their own designs. It’s gone down hill drastically which sucks huge! On top of all of this it seems they are faaar too set on getting insta likes/followers/business which you obviously have ZERO manpower to handle. Honestly I wonder if all the wait times are waiting for all the premade tops, bottoms (often have 3 straps???) from China to me is usually 2-3months, I’m going on 4 months, starting with politely nagging but whoever is in charge of costumer services should maybe seek another career🤷🏻‍♀️
