Howarth Timber Reviews

Went to collect some fence planks in Burnley and got seen to straight away and even got help loading up the car.
Great value for a little fence I put up for a friend.

Bob at Barwell was so helpful and obliging when we placed an order for our daughter who lives 15miles away.We recommended Howarths to her as the service is excellent and the prices too!
Nothing is ever to much trouble for the staff who always give a cheerful greeting

Timber as described and delivered quickly.

Excellent service and price .

Jordon was incredible, the amount of amendments we made, yet he was so patient and professional the whole time.
Our new kitchen looks fab and we will be using HT for our new bathroom in the future

I ordered fence cap bars by mail order. They arrived on time in good condition and were better quality than the fence I was repairing!

Very good service no problems delivered when they said straight in the drive 10/10

The ordering and payment were straightforward, and the delivery was via hiab which was ideal.
However, the description lacked any information about gravel size.
There was no message about a delivery date, so it was fortunate I was at home when it arrived.

Price and quality were fantastic. Ideally could do with a way to book in a delivery online as part 1 of my order just turned up without any communication.

Absolutely superb service from Howarths (Grimsby) yet again. Best price by far (and I researched alot) and quality of products are always 1st class.

Very efficient and friendly delivery and dropped in a convenient location. I won't use anywhere else again.

I am still waiting for the order to be delivered. I have called and chased once and was told I would get a call back when delivery was confirmed. Still waiting with no call back or contact. I will cancel this comjng week if no progress made. Clearly "in stock" status listing on your website does not mean in stock at the local branch!
Update - the Howarth team saw my review and were in touch quickly with delivery following soon after. Looks like one of those things that can happen in industrial supply. I work in busineses where sometimes also go wrong so appreciate that the team addressed it when something does not go 100% to plan

The Golden wasn't even golden

quick friendly and kept informed excellent will be using again

Best of the best! My wood arrived in just a few days, driver was helpful and polite. All the staff at the Newcastle under lyme branch are Excellent. Many thanks.

Nigel at Howarth Timber was amazing with helping us get some timber down to London asap. It's been delivered today and the Project Manager at our company was happy it went so seamless.
Thank you Nigel!

Visited Doncaster branch just wanted timber for infill a fence that was decaying. Found some timber saw Shelley at reception who calculated cost which was too much. She asked what I wanted it for and found treated wood exactly what I wanted at 1/3 of price. Saw Kienan in the yard who kindly found the wood and put it in my car. A good experience all round thanks for going that extra mile. Geoff Ackroyd

Guys are ace in branch and so are the drivers A* all the time!!
Won’t use anybody else!
Howarth all the way 💪🏼

Came quick driver was super good trying get the bulk bag sorted for me thankyou ,really recommend

I had a fantastic experience with Howarth and Timber when ordering my patio slabs. The whole process was completely seamless from start to finish.

On the day of delivery, they sent a text in the morning to let me know they were on their way, followed by a call to update me on how far away they were, which I really appreciated. The delivery driver was friendly, chatty, and incredibly polite. It made the whole experience feel very personal and professional.

The service was top quality, and the price was really competitive too. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. A genuinely great experience all round!
