Laptop went back, still money is not refunded.

Placed an order for a laptop, but the laptop wasn't delivered. Huawei acknowledged the shipment came back to them, but still, they are not giving the money back. It's €900.

It's over 3 months. Every day, I am contacting their customer care. They keep saying, the system is down. The team is in the meeting, contact us tomorrow.

This is ridiculous. My recommendation is, don't ever buy their product.

Thanks Huawei

Huawei AU distributed a 4G mobile phone that can't call-Out (or receive call)...a basic function of a phone.

I am using Vodafone-4G-network & they have recently shut down their 3G-network in metro-Adelaide in Jan-24. My phone now can't call-Out (or receive call)...a basic function of a phone.

4G capability was a key-criteria of my purchase: talk of eventual 3G shut down were found on the internet in 2019. Huawei claims that their Y5 2019 has 4G capability: see ‘Network’ section-> 'link removed because trustpilot don't allow'

I bought in late 2019 from Big-W, & NOT a 'parallel import': have receipt & phone-box with IMEI#. Huawei-AU approved it for sale in Australia & gave it warranty-> 'link removed because trustpilot don't allow'

I have tried,
1.different sim-card retailers, &
2.including Telstra 4G network,
This phone can’t call-OUT (or receive call).

Huawei-AU blames Vodafone for NOT-supporting their phone & hence CALL-problem?

Company rather than product

Review of company rather than a specific product as I never got around to making a purchase. A promotion was running on a wearable product and I was emailing the support team to find a location where I could view the wearable. It took over a week for a representative to respond to my original query. By which time, the retail price of the product had increased by £100. TBF they did offer a £20 good will gesture towards any item in their store but much less than the value of the promotion. Missed out due to their customer service turnaround time. Looking at all the bad reviews on Huawei, perhaps a blessing in disguise.

The Huawei p20 lite has to be the worst…

The Huawei p20 lite has to be the worst smartphone ever made!!! It's absolutely useless, doesn't even connect to roaming data and there's no option to use for paying for goods by phone. Avoid this pile of junk at all costs!!!!!

Purchased a PC

Purchased a PC - Matebook D14 in January 2021. A few weeks ago it stopped booting into windows. I have been trying to arrange a postal repair and have used the app to request this twice over the last two weeks but have had no response back. There is no telephone number to call. I will not be buying from them again

Warranties not honoured AVOID

Had a problem with my router purchased from Amazon by a reputable third party.

My router stopped working so I contacted Huawei direct by email.

NOTE THEY DO NOT OFFER A PHONE NUMBER TO SPEAK TO ANYONE.

I provided them with the router serial number etc and their response was they couldn't help because the item was made in China!!! They were not interested in helping.

My advice is DO NOT BUY ANY HUAWEI PRODUCTS as they offer NO WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE WHATSOEVER.

Trading Standards need to ban this company from selling anything in the UK.

Multiple issues with Huawei

I bought a Huawei smartwatch to time swims in the pool. The units are in yards not metres which is really unhelpful. There is no way to change this on the watch, I have to log in to the app. But I can't do anything without providing my credit card details - which I don't want to do. Also worried this app is spyware and didn't want it on my phone. I
Contacted customer services a few weeks ago but no one has come back to me. Very annoyed!

I'm using a Huawei Matebook D15

I'm using a Huawei Matebook D15, and now it's really laggy. I don't use it that heavily. Just use it for general work, watching YouTube, listening to music.

Huawei Watch Repair

Don't see why there are so many bad reviews. I sent in my Huawei GT3 watch for a repair. Filled the form in, sent the watch via DPD and within a week a new watch has been sent out to me as they couldn't repair the old watch due to water damager.

Would highly recommend Huawei. No issues whatsoever for me.

inaccurate information regarding the dispatch

On 12th November 2023, I made a purchase of a Matebook from the website with the understanding that the product would be dispatched within four business days, as indicated in the initial information. According to this timeline, the dispatch was expected by 16th November 2023. I made this purchase relying on the provided information, assuming the product would arrive before my scheduled travel. However, as of 18th November 2023, the product has not been dispatched, and regrettably, I have been unable to reach any representative for clarification or assistance.

This situation has caused significant inconvenience due to the inaccurate information provided during the purchase process. I am left uncertain about the timely receipt of the product before my travels, which was a crucial aspect of my purchase decision. Moreover, I had intended to utilize this Matebook for remote work during my travels. Furthermore, the absence of any communication or explanation regarding the delay in dispatching the product is disconcerting.I am deeply disappointed by the lack of responsiveness and accountability displayed by the customer relations department. As a result, I am compelled to formally lodge this complaint to highlight the impact of such misinformation and lack of assistance, aiming to caution and prevent potential customers from facing similar issues.

The saga continues so my laptop stopped…

The saga continues so my laptop stopped charging less than 12 months ago they replaced the motherboard and fixed the issue but damaged the laptop in the process so it went back to fix the damage and caused further damage to the screen backlight at this point I couldn't be bothered fighting with huwei to get it sorted but they were aware of the issue anyway now 10 months down the road the laptop stops charging again so contacted huawei and they said send it in so I did thinking they would sort it but today I had a quote for £565 for a replacement screen and a new motherboard which had already been changed under warranty less than 12 months. I cannot believe it £565 is more than buying a like for like replacement. There customer service is non existent there telephone number do not accept incoming calls and they only accept any complaints or service issues by email which they take days to respond to. I have just got off the phone with sbe Ltd who carry out the repairs on huawei devices and they have just told me that any repairs they have done only carry a 90 day warranty I asked do they get there part from huawei and was told yes so I asked how long is the warranty on the parts they supply and they refused to comment and told me to ask huawei which would be OK if you could ever get hold of them or get any kind of reply. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM HUAWEI it not worth the stress and hassle you have to go through to get something fixed also expensive items like this should last longer than 12 months without failing for a second time for the same issue.

It’s decent

I believe that Huawei is not the best chinese tech brand. Nevertheless, they make some devices right.
Like I had a Huawei router and some of their smartphones can compete with its more famous counterparts.
You have to read the reviews carefully.

Useless Heuwai software..

Utter garbage, never buy Heuwai. I'm stuck with 32gb tablet that cannot be expanded to whatever sd card I put in. Useless software doesn't allow me to move software to the sd card, insanity or what. Next device definately won't be Heuwai.
