Overall, the physical move itself was handled professionally by the crew. However, I want to share an important aspect of my experience that I believe other customers should be fully aware of, especially if you have high-value items.

After the move, while in the process of unpacking and setting up, we discovered significant damage to our hot tub. Upon contacting Hunts Removals, I was informed that their standard terms and conditions require any claim to be made within 10 days of the move.

I find these terms, particularly for high-value items and the short claim window, to be quite restrictive and potentially unrealistic for customers. It's difficult to fully inspect and test every item, especially complex ones like a hot tub, within such a short timeframe after a multi-day move. While the general moving service was competent, the limited liability and stringent claim period for damages could be a significant pitfall for others.

My advice to anyone considering Hunts Removals, or any removal company, is to read their terms and conditions very carefully, especially regarding insurance coverage for valuable items and the timeframe for making claims. If you have high-value possessions, strongly consider taking out separate, specific insurance, as the standard coverage offered may be extremely limited.

Hunts removals. So happy with the service, very friendly team, very efficient and quick whilst still being respectful of my belongings.

Hunts quoted to move my elderly parents-in-law from Spain to England. Their agent in Spain packed brilliantly and their agent in UK delivered into storage excellently. But, it took 3 weeks to transport half a load, poorly co-ordinated by the UK office giving very little and last minute information. Having quoted to include 2 extra drop offs, we were told they were not possible as access for a 38 ton articulated lorry was required - had to do transfer from storage ourselves without compensation.

We used Hunts for a local move. They were awesome from start to finish. The crew arrived on time, were super careful, respectful, and very efficient. They had our house loaded and unloaded on schedule and their price was very fair - not only for the service, but also for the ancillaries such as boxes etc. I would 100% use them again, great company and good guys.

We have used Hunts twice this year and they were excellent both times. Punctual, polite, efficient and took great care in packing and removing our possessions.

Excellent experience throughout, we mobed locally they packed all my belongings on day 1 and removed all of my things day 2 was the most stress free part of moving, the went the extra mile and more to provide a fantastic service highly recommended throughout the local community

We were due to move in may but after one disaster after another the property we were buying fell through. We had to carry on with our sale so all our belongings went into storage with Hunts. The team were great nothing too much trouble. Hunts stored all our belongings until the end of august and then with 2 days notice delivered it 120 miles away. Again a great team worked their socks off and even declined a cuppa.
Overall great team and fantastic communication all the way through. Highly recommend I personally wouldnt use anyone else.

I have moved home seven times in my life using the likes of Pickfords and other top named professional moving companies. All of the these comp have carried out an excellent job with great professionalism. Because of health re I had to move back to the UK after many years in France. The company I chose to move the contents of a five bedroom farmhouse was Hunts International. This company wildly under established the size of vehicle required, after being given a full list. After delivery to the UK I found three thou pounds worth of damage and one thousand pounds of missing items. After months of complaints I received £200 compensation. Use this company at you peril.

We used Hunts International to move household items and furniture from France to the UK. Not only was their price extremely reasonable compared to the other quotations we received, their service was excellent. Communication with their team via email was always prompt and clear. Then, on the day of the pick up, the movers were friendly, professional and very hard-working - especially considering the heatwave we were experiencing at the time! Our items arrived in the UK on time and in the same condition in which they had been packed. Many thanks to all at Hunts for moving our home with the same care as if it were their own!

I used Hunts International to move from France to Ireland end of June 2018. I was aware that it would be 3 weeks from pick up in France, until delivery to Ireland and I was fine about that. 2 days before the delivery date I was informed that the lorry had broken down and that it would be another week of delay. When the delivery finally came the unloading was quick and the guys left after 4 hours. Later it became apparent that some furniture was missing and that an expensive table was badly damaged (which they tried to hide by wrapping the top in paper). I was fobbed off with a sob story by the office staff when I enquired about the missing furniture. They later admitted that the mirror has been broken and was unsafe to transport. The manager of the company never contacted me, as promised by the office staff. The dishonesty and disregard of this company towards me means that I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

We have moved our 2-bedroom cottage from West Yorkshire to Northern Italy using Hunts International and we were very happy with their services. The level of efficiency and professionalism from the moment we got in touch with them to the moment our belongings got delivered was excellent. The quote was provided quickly and precisely, modified multiple times according to our ever changing requirements, the timescale given was accurate, Jacqueline and Nicky were always available to answer myriad of questions, both via email and on the phone. They accommodated our preferred pick up date and time;the collection team turned up perfectly on time, keeping us updated via mobile phones. The two young guys Ian and Kurtis were quick, considerate, polite and efficient in loading our things. They worked around unpredictable circumstances (urgent water works right on our access road) and they did not blink an eye about the very steep hill (60 m driveway). We provided a shuttle van and they basically had to do all the loading and unloading twice. Yet, they did the job in less than 3 hours. We were truly impressed. The delivery to Italy was also trouble-free. We were notified more than a week in advance, both by phone and via email. The delivery team got in touch and delivered everything one day ahead of schedule. The access at the final destination was also an issue and the drivers have carefully followed the maps and advice we provided to find us without a problem. Keith and Reiss unloaded everything in no time, distributing all the boxes and furniture in different rooms according to our instructions and being very polite and considerate indeed. All our belongings arrived intact and we were so relieved that everything went so smoothly.
All in all, we highly recommend Hunts International for any move and we will certainly be using it again in the future.

Outstanding! I had a removal from Switzerland back to the UK at the end of May 2018. I am an experienced mover, having had 5 international moves in Europe. This was the best by far. The team were professional, knew what they were doing, arrived on time, delivered on time with no breakages. I felt I was in good hands.

We used hunts as they had moved us to France some time ago and we had great services from them. this time it seemed even better, we contacted Lance who was extremely helpful we explained that we had different items than last time due to a flood in our french property (that's another story) we completed the online quote and he worked out how much space we would need. We agreed the cost of the move and sent all the paperwork back, We didn't go for the dedicated move this time as lance explained the groupage service to us, this seemed to work better for us this time as we had no rush to come back to the property in the UK and Hunts even stored it for a while for us (with a charge that was not to bad either)

On collection we had Dalian and Nick who were great they came in to the house and did there paperwork and started to move the items to the vehicle we explained that some of the item where old but new to us and they completely put our mind at ease when we saw them blanket wrapping the items and it seemed that they handled them like they were there own which was nice. They both worked extremely well whilst at the house, in fairness i do not know how they do it I know i couldn't. they pack the truck up and we waved goodbye to our goods happy again they we hand chosen Hunts.

Delivery Day we had Ian and Ellis, we did kind of hope to get the same crew that collected but we understand that this is sometimes not possible. Ian and Ellis brought everything in to the house and put it where we wanted it, we did need some heavy items taking upstairs and they just got ion and did it. once everything was in we signed the paperwork and off they went. Both sets of crew where friendly and very helpful, the vehicles looked clean and tidy.

All in All a great second experience with Hunts, we don't normally recommend companies to anyone but with all the stresses and strains of moving house we could not recommenced these guys and girls enough.

Hire these guys. You won’t be disappointed. I was hesitant to hire movers again after my last bad experience. I wasn’t sure who to go with. The owner took the time to explain the whole process and all charges. The crew members Dave and Ellis were punctual, knowledgeable and actually quite friendly. Nothing was damaged and the estimate was pretty close to what I ended up paying.

Moving with all your stuff is such a hectic and a daunting task. I was literally blessed to have Hunts International by my side. Dave and Darrell are so helping and humble guys. They helped me in packing and taping each stuff and then transported to my new place without any damage. I am very happy and totally relaxed. 5 stars to this wonderful company.

I am so happy I used their services.The move went smooth and everything was properly transferred to my new place. Dave and Ellis were fantastic and they effortlessly worked. I am totally satisfied and will for sure use them again for all my moving needs.

I cannot imagine my move without these guys.They were very efficient with their time, helped me disassemble and reassemble the bed. They were also very sweet, and helped with ideas on how to arrange my bedroom.
