The staff was always very helpful, friendly and professional. The price was right and because of the friendly staff we went with Hunts International.

As last time, the move team were exceptional. They worked so hard all day and were a joy to deal with, friendly, professional and helpful. They packed effectively and neatly, unloaded quickly and sensibly (making sure we had things like our mattress and bedding in the right room ready to sleep) and didn't lose or break anything. Look after them because they're the reason we move with Hunts!

Excellent team, very hard working, this is not an easy job. Office, very quick to respond as well. Plus in my opinion very good value for money.

We hired Hunts as a local company to move us to Spain. We made it clear we did not want to use sub contractors and was coming to them as they were local and used their own vans. On the day we were moving, a non english speaking , European sub contractor was sent in a plain white van. Obviously we called to express our concerns as we were very clear on this point but was accused of being racist, on more than one occasion which I can only assume is a tactic to make you shut up and back down.

Our fears of a subcontractor was confirmed and in the middle of the sea we were called to say we needed to pay €3000 fine to release the vehicle ( or the vehicle wouldn’t be reaching the destination). Even with 5.5 hours notice, Hunts International decided to tell us 5 mins before they closed for the weekend.

As much as they pass the blame to the sub contractor, my agreement was with them. They came twice to my house to measure so they were responsible for booking the correct sized vehicle. The vehicle was overweight but I’m sure no one actually knows the weight of the contents of their house, this is a professionals job which HUNTS definitely are not. The BAR have confirmed that the fine was the drivers responsibility and that HUNTS should have measured the contents of the house accurately or informed me the vehicle was overweight and illegal before they left.

After a lot of heartache we hire a local company to collect our belonging which was a battle in itself as our belonging were held to ransom. Luckily my partner is Spanish and could converse with the local police. At no point did Hunts allow the belonging to be released, this was the driver who was worried he was going to be arrested for theft.

AVOID at all cost, don’t make a stressful time more stressful by using this company.

I have waited to calm down before making this review however I would not feel comfortable if someone making a big move was put in this situation and made to pay because they had no other options.

Moved from London to Dublin Ireland using their partial load service. Reasonably priced and a patient manager (Daryl) who dealt with my queries.

The collection of goods in London… this didn’t go so well. Took the day off work and was told they would arrive at 4pm. Not a problem, I can use the day for other bits and bobs. I then get a call from the driver to say they will be there at 2pm. So I rushed back home, changed my plans and waited… and waited… and waited… 4.30 I got a call from the driver to say they got stuck on another job so will be with me within 45mins. So I waited… and waited… and waited… They finally arrived at 6.30pm and as I had boxed my goods and drawn up an inventory, they were there for 10mins! I could have gone to work or done what I needed to but I was stuck in doors all day for 10mins of loading. Frustrating.

The delivery to Dublin – Got a call on the Saturday to say I would be the first drop and they will be at the new property at 7.30am. On Monday morning, got a call from the driver at 6.45am to say he was 10mins away. They arrived at 7am. Nothing broken however a couple items were scuffed. They kindly placed the different boxes in the different rooms I’d asked and were done in 30mins.

Granted a hiccup at the start but I got my belongings in once piece! I would certainly use again.

I've used Hunts twice to move furniture from UK to France and had great service each time. Lovely team both times and everything arrived in good condition.

Best quote we had by a long way price wise, great customer service as well. Unfortunately the move didn't go ahead as we managed to sell all the house contents by chance as new owner wanted them and they were so understanding even though technically they had lost out. Great people to deal with

Everyone I dealt with at Hunts International has been efficient, hard-working and polite. My first contact was with Adam who inspired confidence in the Company, talked me through the process and was my point-of-reference throughout. Ian and Ellis came to do the packing in our old house in Devon on moving out day. They worked almost continually for a whole day packing our vast amount of possessions, were endlessly cheerful and polite. The furniture was delivered to our new house in Italy, on time, by Dalian and Peter. Using a local shuttle service (our new house is at the end of a long, steep lane) driven by Carlos, the three of them ferried our possessions from the artic on to Carlos' Transit and up to the house. Again, Dalian, Peter and Carlos were polite, efficient and hard-working. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hunts International to anyone wishing to move house. A great job throughout. Many thanks.

We used Hunts International to do a partial move from London to Limerick Ireland. It was moving about 12 boxes containing mostly sentimental family items and we have to say that we dealt with Hunts and they were completely professional, nothing was too much trouble and handled it with care. I never thought I would be that Guy. The Customer who is so incandescent with a sense of injustice, he would feel compelled to rant to the world. My partner and I chose Hunts to move us from Majorca to a storage facility on the Spanish Mainland. We provided a detailed inventory, paid upfront and it all went horribly wrong. They sub contracted the job, who turned a one day pack and wrap and move into a £9000 nightmare. Below is all you need to know of how I feel about Hunts -its an exerpt from my email when I finally lost my temper:

"So, let us be clear – Our property has not left Majorca – that was not even adjacent to the truth, this was poorly planned with no schedule, there was no race for a ferry, we were given a standard quotation with a cover all clause, the site survey meant nothing, to meet a false deadline we had to pack a substantial amount ourselves. To which your only response is effectively – tough – pay up!"

I'd highly recommend using Hunts International. I recently moved my belongings from London to Ireland and found everyone at Hunts, from the call centre staff to the driver and delivery men exceptionally professional, helpful, courteous, kind, and communicated with me every step of the way.

My stuff arrived back to me safe and sound, and a day early which was great! I'd have no hesitation recommending them.

We have used Hunts to relocate 3 times in the last few years with the most recent removal taking place in late Sep '16 from Ireland to the UK. We have always found all staff (office based and removal teams) polite and very helpful.

Additionally removal teams have always arrived at the agreed times and additional resources have always been available when needed to ensue that packing deadlines have been met. Items have always been professionally packed with no issues being encountered with broken items when unpacking.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Hunts to anybody looking to relocate to or from overseas.

The service and experience I have had has been nothing short of exceptional. Your safe, caring, responsive care for my move will have me singing your praises for the foreseeable future.

We have just used Hunts for the third time. Darral managed to accommodate our move at very short notice due to our buyers causing delays and then demanding everyone jumped to their timescales. Only 2 guys turned up to move our 4 bed 3 reception house but they worked like demons and when they called for reinforcements Darral came to help until 2 further guys could turn up.(apparently they had been let down by two staff not turning up). Everyone was polite, helpful, friendly and cheerful. They were respectful of our property and nothing was damaged. They saved us having your replace a settee by offering a solution to get it into the house. We would absolutely recommend them, and use them again....but after all the hassle we had from others in the chain I have no plans to move for a very long time.

I was generally very pleased with the service provided by Hunts for our move from Leicester to Ireland. Darral was particularly helpful in scheduling pick up and gave me as much info as he could about drop off arrangements. The moving crew was cheerful, speedy and obliging. Access to our property was difficult and necessitated turning and reversing the lorry. This was carried out with the minimum of fuss despite an unfortunate encounter with a large rock in the hedgerow! I would happily recommend Hunts in the future.

The moving team were excellent - quick, thorough and really gave us confidence our things would be looked after. We had the full packing service and this happened very speedily and everything was in perfect condition when it arrived in France. Reece was brilliant - very friendly; yet professional and got things done - we would very happily use you then for our next move. Quoting process was straightforward and they let us be flexible with ou delivery date as there were some delays in our house move (inevitably!)

I have used Hunts 6 times now for my house moves. They are professional, courteous and efficient. They packed everything, moved it and put it all in the right rooms in a neat manner with no breakages!

Hunts International is a great company. Worked twice with them on a very short period. First in January for my move from Belgium to UK, and then in February and March for my move inside UK. They both times did a perfect job in a few hours, packing the items very carefully. The move team is very friendly. We did really appreciate how quick they reacted when we had problems in our first house in UK and we had to move urgently. I would strongly recommend the company to any family or friends.
