Hunts Office Reviews 

Having retired my 5 year old Amazon purchased chair earlier this year I then set about purchasing a replacement. You will find hundreds of reviews online for various companies and various chairs which you can buy online but none of them really offer you the ability to try them in person. After reading endless reviews I settled for an online chair only to find it less comfortable than the one it had replaced.

I managed like this for a few months with my back and hamstrings slowly deteriorating daily before deciding I had to do something. Rather than researching more chairs I started looking for places where you can actually try them. I also focused on Steelcase chairs for these were the brand used in our office prior to lockdown commencing and I had always known these to be well made and comfortable.

I swiftly came across Hunts Office who not only had a good reputation but also the full range of Steelcase chairs. I made an appointment and then made the journey down to High Wycombe.

My appointment was with Luc and right from the start he put me at ease. They had the full range of Steelcase chairs available and I was able to try the Gesture, the Leap, Think, Amia and Series 1 & 2 and get to make an informed decision about whether it would work for me. Luc was very patient and walked me through all the features of the relevant chairs. For me comfort was the main thing and I had my eye on the Amia based on some of the reviews I had read.

I spent about an hour with Luc and it was time well spent for I made the purchase that morning. The chairs, unless they are default models they have in the warehouse, are made to order so I was informed there would be about 3 to 4 weeks before I received my chair which worked out well with the summer holiday period. Luc kept me informed throughout on the progress associated with the order.

Last week I took delivery of the chair and again Hunts Office excelled. The chair arrived fully assembled and well packaged to protect it during transit. I've done a few days in it now and the difference is night and day. The seat pan is firm but comfortable, the back support is just right for me and I am really pleased I selected the 4D armrests - they are great.

This marks and end to me watching endless YouTube reviews on chairs - my wife for one is relieved! Yes you can buy things online but there are still items out there which you need to try beforehand and for that places such as Hunts Office and Subject Matter Experts such as Luc are invaluable.

Hunts provided a great service when helping us kit out our new offices. They were responsive, courteous and they understood our brief well. The desks they supplied are fantastic and we couldn't be happier.

Easy transaction, good advice, quick delivery

We dealt with Luke for our recent purchase, he was efficient and knowledgeable so we received a quote very quickly, soon after the order was placed. Luke also arranged for the desks to be installed for us so the whole process was smooth and easy.

Had exactly the chair I was after and very resopnsive and easy to deal with.

Hunts were very professional and Luc in particular couldn't do enough to help even when my order got more complicated and helped me build my custom fabric/colour solution quickly and easily. A quality chair from a quality company.

Really great service from start to finish from Luc Meziani. Although it didn't take long to be convinced that the chair I was interested in was the one for me, Luc was patient with my fussiness over finding the right options and fabric. It was so comfy, even my partner decided to get one. Sticker price was a shock but the end result was worth it. My back and posterior are thankful! Delivery took exactly as long as the given lead time. Excellent communication with responses to emails usually given with the hour. Slight issue with one of the chair's bases being damaged in transit was rectified the next day with a replacement. Can't fault them, I'd certainly recommend to others.

Hunts have a huge range of office chairs on display with staff who are very knowledgable and able to give advice on posture and comfort

I bought a new desk from Hunts Office this year. The entire process took quite a while of back and forth communication as we had to ship samples and discuss desk configuration around completely opposing work schedules due to my night shifts. Luc was patient and friendly throughout the process. When the desk was delivered, they assembled it quickly and efficiently and also took away all the packaging and mess. I'm very happy with the desk; it works perfectly (it's a sit/stand) and looks great! I would recommend Hunts Office to anyone looking for new office equipment.

I was looking for a home office chair for my sister who is unfortunately a cancer sufferer, disabled and suffers from a lot of pain. So we needed to spend time getting the right chair. We therefore went to the showroom in High Wycombe. We had excellent and friendly service there. The sales executive, Luc, was very thorough going through the different chairs and suitability. He was very patient and others in the team were happy to bring whatever chairs we needed to try. We chose the Gesture (in fact went for 2 - one for me as well) which were delivered promptly within a week. The delivery team placed the chairs in position explaining the features. Now comes the test of using them but we are comforted by the return policy and the staff's willingness to help. Hopefully, all goes well and it leads to a better quality of life for my sister and me.
