Anyone else experiencing poor…

Anyone else experiencing poor communication from Hyundai Customer Services? I've been inquiring for a year about problems with my car camera mirrors not folding out and fogging up. Between my dealer and them, I'm getting broken promises that they will contact each other to resolve the problem. Only yesterday, I was promised an email from Hyundai confirming they are waiting on my dealer Wilsons of Epsom to contact then to resolve the problem. That email like all my others hasn't been responded to.

Avoid Hyundai like the plague

I would give Hyundai 0 stars, if I could. I never think to look at the quality of a car brand's aftercare when thinking about what car to buy, but I will now. I have a 2022 Hyundai Ioniq 5, which is subject to a manufacturer's recall, due to an ICCU fault. My car has been undriveable for 2 months, as it is in 'Failsafe' mode. It is in a Hyundai dealership, where they have the part, but are not sure when they will be able to do the repair (it will probably be about a month). Hyundai seem to be very precious about who is allowed to do the repair, thus the massive wait. Over this whole time, I have been left without a car and Hyundai are refusing to provide me with a replacement (which seems to be a common theme, reading other reviews). I have actually found a Hyundai dealership 30 miles away that can do the repair in one week. Amazingly, when I called Hyundai to tell them this excellent news, they refused to move the car to this dealership, because it is already at a dealership that can do the repair. That is something I will have to arrange because I am apparently too impatient to wait an unspecified amount of time to get the repair done at the first dealership. To summarise the problems:
1) The warranty is bogus- it does not provide you with a replacement car when your car breaks and it does not specify how quickly Hyundai will fix it for you. A general theme from these threads is that it takes them AGES to find parts and to get the repair done.
2) Their car is rubbish (because it doesn't work)
3) Their customer service staff are unhelpful, clueless and actually quite rude. You'll spend most of your time on hold, repeating yourself, or being told off for not listening to them.
4) They have not responded to the formal complaint I made about this- come on Hyundai: reply to this instead

I write this review after a 4 year…
I write this review after a 4 year battle with Johnson’s hyundai Slough, Hyundai uk customer services and Hyundai uk executive team in there customer service department.
I have a 2019 Hyundai Tucson 1.6 tgdi automatic dct and it’s been suffering with ongoing dual clutch transmission issues at very slow speed or creeping away in car parks, the vehicle will violently judder / tremor and bouncing the car back and forth making it really uncomfortable to drive.
The dealer / retailer advised all is ok and there hyundai hgds says computer says NO everything is ok, but they never drive the car to experience the actual issue.
HMUK advised me to get an independent garage to assess my fault who confirmed the vehicle was acting incorrectly and that’s not how a dct should be functioning, so hmuk advised to replace clutch pack.
Hyundai uk customer care advised me that there is nothing more the dealer / retailer can do and does not want the car back in for investigation, if I book back in they will charge £140 per hour and just say nothing wrong with it
Hyundai relayed this info back to me and left me to it.
I’m deeply distressed and disappointed with there reply and advised I will be putting this into a letter to the ceo of Hyundai uk
I used to tell other people about Hyundai reliability but a lot has changed and I will never in my life buy another Hyundai or recommend Hyundai as a reputable brand to others
Also 1 month out of warranty and the audio unit LCD screen has started delaminating from the glass, I have read this is another common issue
I have had to put this review up again, the last one mysteriously disappeared

No Hyundai windscreen in country- beware!

I have a 2 month old Kona and have damaged the windscreen. It’s on back order with Autoglass and having just contacted the local Hyundai there are no windscreens in country and no idea when they will arrive! I was told maybe weeks or months! I’m not sure my car is legal as the windscreen has a huge crack which is spreading. It seems that insurance doesn’t cover glass and I can’t claim on my warranty. I’m in the position that I am having to fund myself for a car hire which I’m really unhappy about.

I800 NOX Fault

5 month's out of warranty my i800 needed a NOX sensor which cost me £2000 to replace. This fault is a reoccurring issue being evidenced in the i800 Forum.

Engine failure

You sold me a car with a Five year warranty that didn't exist. Three years on my car needs a engine repair and you won't fix as not in warranty, which is not my fault. I have no car out of pocket and getting nowhere with customers services.
You don't deserve one star.
You need to show a bit of compassion for your customers.

New I10

I picked up my new top of the range Hyundai I10 4 weeks ago. I was told at the time that they were awaiting a software update for the navigation so at the moment I have to use Waze.

It is supposed to show the speed limit whilst driving but is constantly wrong often informing me I am in 10mph when I am on a main road. The telephone system does not appear to be working.

I have e mailed and phoned a few times asking for a call back, with no response. I finally spoke to someone today who told me that they have not got a date for the navigation update.

I am really sorry I purchased this car, especially when I have read the other reviews.

Since the above; I was asked by the manager to bring my car in on 10th July to see if they could update the satnav. They know there is a problem with the speedlimit indicator which, guess what, they are waiting for an update something I was not told about when I picked up the car.

I twiddled my thumbs for over two hours on the showroom and then told they had not been able to rectify anything but they would pick up the car again on the q3th and try again.

It went in for 3 hours with nothing rectifief and without being able to tell me what the next step is. I phoned and asked for the manager to get back to me yesterday afternoon - nada!

I am left with a six week old car with nothing on the dashboard working.

Still no further on withba car now coming up yo 2 months without the satnav or area speed limit indicator working.
No replies from manager at Endeavour Watford. No reply to my e mail to MD Hyundai UK. They sell a car and leave you high and dry. I have asked for my money back on several occasions without any response. I think it will be the newspapers next.

Never buy a Hyundai, once they have the money they wash their hands of you.

Well, at last. after two months of aggravation, Hyundai collected my car today and hopefully all my money will be returned by tomorrow

Tomorrow I am picking up my new car from Toyota!

ONLY PROBLEM, THEY PICKED UP MY i10 YESTERDAY, WERE TRANSFERRING THE MONEY TO MY BANK ACCOUNT TODAY. i SAT FOR 3 HOURS THIS AFTERNOON IN THE TOYOTA GARAGE AND HAD TO COME BACK WITHOUT THE CAR!

Global supply chain issues mean that if…

Global supply chain issues mean that if you buy a Hyundai and it needs a repair, firstly you will have to wait weeks for it to be looked at and diagnosed and secondly due to global supply chain issues the car will not be fixed anytime soon and all the dealer will be able to tell you is the part is on back order. Choose a new car wisely, look at repair times and parts availability for European cars.
Hyundai have had mine 7 months and still say the part is on back order, read all the other negatives, I wish I had.

Don't get a Hyundai

My car recently broke down, it's still under warranty but all the garages have a two month back log so I am without a car, and Hyundai have rejected a hire car. They are quite happy for their cars to not work and customers to just have to do without. We have spent four days trying to get this sorted as the passed us off to anyone else rather than dealing with it. This is also the third problem I've had with the car, first it was a problem with the breaks even though it was only 2.5yrs old and had done 5000miles I was told this was 'wear and tear' and not covered by warranty, the second time it came up with a check engine light and needed wiring soldered, which was covered under warranty and I was told is a common problem with hyundai cars- he then asked if I'd had a problem with my breaks yet- when I said yes he said not to worry if they replaced the caliper as that's also a common problem. So, not only do they charge for known faults, manufacturer crap cars, but they will also leave you hanging when the car is then out of commission. I had to get the train to a funeral this weekend, im out of pocket on time and money getting to and from work- which thankfully I can to by bus otherwise I'd be screwed.

Misleading dealership deal

I must start by saying I have had Hyundai cars for 10 years (5 different cars for the family) & they have all been very reliable & lovely cars. HOWEVER, twice I have been to Richmond dealership & had bad experiences. I have written to the CEO three times & not had ANY REPLY! When you complain, surely you would think they would wish to reply & investigate - obviously they don't care. So when I change my car soon, I will be looking at other brands..... what a sad & disappointing way to loose a loyal customer

By far the worst Customer Experience…

By far the worst Customer Experience going. Battery failed 6 days after warranty expired making me pay for the replacement, it then took 15+ phone calls, several emails and 6 months to get their acceptance to pay back the fuel and taxi costs but only at 80%. When you ask to speak to a supervisor no-one responds!!!! I will be contacting the ombudsman as the level of service is an utter disgrace.

I will not buy another Hyundai Tuson or…

I will not buy another Hyundai Tuson or any Hyumdi car.
Car is a 23-plate,
The satnav constantly diverts you off route for no reason and when there is a reason you don't trust it for a connected satnav, this is diabolical. My Toyota always asked and gave a reason for alternative routes. The ride is far too hard, and you feel every bump in the road. The tailgate is too heavy. My wife can't open it and the fuel economy is not the best.
The cruise control speed adjustment switch recently failed and I called the dealer only to be told I had to leave the car all day or book a slot as it would need a statutory inspection. I have never heard so much rubbish. I don't have all day to wait for them to confirm the switch is no longer working. There issue and I have the pain.
