Bought this car Radio that is supposed…

Bought this car Radio that is supposed to be perfect/Brand New/totally compatible for the Vauxhall Astra mk6.
It fits nice, but USB's don't work properly, it won't connect to a standard DAB unit even though it is supposed to be DAB+ enabled.
App's that come pre-installed that don't work, had to download extra Bluetooth app to get connections, there was no 'User manual or installation manual, was told to find a similar unit and improvise it's manual, and now they are refusing a refund on the grounds it's been installed.

HI Karl, if you care to expand on this then you will find the reasons for the offer of exchange over is that you requested a refund on the 34th day. You have a 28 days returns policy which has ceased. Also, your item has been installed so this opens discussions on the "Condition of returns policy" as all items have to be returned in the same condition as received in order for refunds to be considered which is why when we sent the item, we sent this statement in your confirmation of dispatch email as follows;

"Also, the item has to be returned in same condition as when received so any marks to the unit/accessories may result in refunds being refused or appropriate fees deducted to cover the cost of depreciation so please test the unit fully before installing into place which will ensure, the unit does not get scratched and no issues will occur on the returns policy."

You was advised to test the unit before installing it to avoid any issues with returns. You did not and appears now that its our fault that you are inconvenienced by our policies. We are not a seller who hides behind these policies which is why we advised you before receiving the item on how to act appropriately to avoid any grievances later on.

Its nice that you have failed to adhere to either of the returns policy or the eBay policy we advised on and you now feel aggrieved and left this unfavourable feedback. We offer brand new exchanges as a token gesture.

Also, the issues you expand on about DAB not working.

1) The DAB USB is not from us so we asked you speak to your vendor.
2) The USB did work as it was tested upon return.
3) The DAB USB antenna is one time use only, you admitted you had taken it from an older system and tried on ours.
4) We replaced your unit with a brand new unit to give you peace of mind.

I have purchased new IPS Car Stereo for…

I have purchased new IPS Car Stereo for BMW 1 series. Product was well packaged and you could tell was brand new. It has arrived within 10 days. Rob and the team gave me very useful advice on fitting as my car has optic fibre and had to be reconnected to new plug. Item has many great option such quick Bluetooth, 4K display with car future display such how many litres of fuel is left. This device can also adjust your setting such eco pro or sport despite the fact that originally car did not have this option and that’s a great bonus. Quality of video is great with 4K display and overall very modern look and graphic. Music stream through Bluetooth is good too and retains all original Alpine quality. So far so well and keep finger cross will keep this way. I am sure if any problems appear, Rob and the team will support me.

Terrible seller - thankfully it was through eBay so they stepped in 👍

Terrible eBay seller. Item was faulty - had to get eBay to force the seller to accept the returns due to it being faulty and within the 30 day money back guarantee.

HI Jack, sorry to hear you are aggrieved but it would be great if you could elaborate on the whole story and not the self centred one you have provided. We adhere to all policies set out in eBay and consumer rights legislation and the fact that you did not adhere to them is not something we can take responsibility for. As a company, we have the understanding that not all buyers are knowledgable to consumer rights legislation so this is why when we dispatched the item, you was given the following advice by email.

We have never abused you, we have attempted to help you through this. This is a total lie and i will be happy to provide screenshots of all the conversation i have had with you. It was all going well until you asked us to give you a more expensive item for free than the one you purchased. From this point, you took grievance from this and left negative feedback. We asked you to comply with the "Condition of returns" policy in eBay and you are failing to do so its "our fault" apparently they you are in breach of this policy. We have not discredited your claims of the item being faulty hence why we discussed the return and give you pre-paid shipping labels..

In regards to your investigative work on companies house. It would be great if you had done thorough checks on the eBay platform you ordered from, you will see the business details at the bottom of the sales page you ordered under that our business name is CES AUTOS LIMITED. You are welcome to check on the status of this on companies house which you will find is active from 2012. In future, its best you adhere to all policies set out under consumer rights legislation to avoid this sort of case again. All too often, customers don't follow legislation and then blame the seller. We can take constructive criticism but find your story tailored to make out that we are the ones who have done wrong.

My new Android for Peugeot 207CC

Obwohl ich erst sehr skeptisch war in England zu bestellen (wegen der Lieferwege, vielleicht auch Ärger), habe ich mich durchgerungen. Ich habe das Radio nach relativ kurzer Zeit erhalten, alles war okay, inzwischen habe ich es eingebaut und es läuft sehr gut. Ich habe es nicht bereut, das Androidradio ist einwandfrei, gut verarbeitet, da habe ich als Deutscher meine Ansprüche. Kurz gesagt, ich bin sehr zufrieden, inbesondere mit der abwicklung von icebox. Einen Mangel gibt es allerdings, die Gebrauchsanleitung verdient ihren Namen nicht. Das Papier hätte man sparen können. Da sollte von Witson, dem Hersteller nachgebessert werden.
Although I was very skeptical to order in England at first (because of the delivery routes, maybe also annoyance), I managed to get through. I received the radio after a relatively short time, everything was okay, I have now installed it and it runs very well. I have no regrets, the Android radio is flawless, well processed, because as a German I have my expectations. In short, I am very satisfied, especially with the handling of icebox. There is a shortcoming, however, the instructions for use do not deserve their name. You could have saved the paper. Witson, the manufacturer, should make improvements

They are fantastic

They are fantastic ! I ordered a radiodrom them and before they sent it they went the extra step to make sure it was the right radio. Upon discovering it wouldn't work in my car they promptly cancelled the order and issued a refund . Great team and great comms.

Ordered CarPlay box to go with my…

Ordered CarPlay box to go with my Mercedes ml250.
To begin with it wouldn’t work but rob helped out loads. Always answered my messages and managed to get it going without issues. Great product. Still figuring it out.

Highly recommended

I had a sat nav installed by Icebox a few years ago. The service and value were excellent but the aftersales service has been amazing. Even when my unit developed a fault after the warranty had expired they went above and beyond to help me. Can’t praise them enough.

First class, excellent customer service. Dealt with Rob whilst purchasing my Android headunit and considering the current climate (Covid 19), they handled my enquiries professionally........they're aftersales care was second to none.
Definite 5 star service........

Easy transaction.

After buying a unit from these guys a few years ago, they have now moved buildings and expanded, from where I purchased and they installed my new stereo on site.

Efficient, from order to delivery was under one week. I had it installed the week later. Everything is in excellent working order, speakers wired up perfectly.

The guys there are polite and professional, after care is next to none. They make changing a stereo in your car dead easy! Would definitely recommend.
