Most frustrating

Most frustrating. The mobile banking is useless as is the app. I should not have to carry my laptop with me every in order to use internet banking. Disappointing given how India boasts about it's IT sector!!!

Fast USD to INR…at best rates

Needed to transmit dollars to my INR account for buying property and found money2india most useful with the best rates. The remittances were secure and fast. Ms Hiral Shah in NY icici branch was very helpful and promptly responded to my request for increased transmit limits. The promotional rates were better than other apps like wise and remitly.

My account is locked, can't unlock

My account is locked due to inactivity. To activate, the bank is asking for documents, but the upload keeps failing. When I called, the phone service keeps on hanging up. It is utterly frustrating!!

I have been with this bank for more…

I have been with this bank for more than 2 decades, now I am just stuck with them. The most horrible bank ever. Customer service is the worst. Their website is so horrible that you cannot get anything done on it. The only thing efficient about this bank is taking money out of your account promptly and swiftly. If you miss a few installments of a loan, the bank hires goondas who are absolutely unprofessional, rude and abusive. They even threaten you. Stay away from this bank. I wish I could. Hopefully soon.

WORST, CHEATING, LYING, GREEDY, FOOLING, FALSE, FAKE, FRAUD, DISGUSTING AND SHAMELESS services from icicibank, their customer are and their senior management.

The icicibank had always been CARELESS, NEGLIGENT, BOTHERLESS AND IGNORANT to any complaints from their existing icicibank customers. Firstly they don't have the CALIBER to resolve or act or take any action against their GREEDY FOOLING, LYING AND CHEATING SILLY STUPID male and female lady commission craving agents.

And secondly they alway SHIELD, PROTECT, PROVOKE AND INSTIGATE their FOOLING COMMISSION CRAVING agents. And thirdly the icicibank, their customercare and the senior management is always been PARTIAL towards the existing customers complaints.

The icicibank had always cross-eyed and neglected the complaints against their SHAMELESS agents, plus they never ever liked and are angry for any complaints raised against their FOOLING, FALSE, FAKE and FRAUD agents.

In the end NEVEREVER to be TRUSTED AND BELIEVED for any services either it may for DND or for any customer banking accounts, it's only a HOPELESS AND WORTHLESS bank, no CALIBER to take any action against any complaints.

Worst bank for NRIs and service in general. The Madhapur bank in Hyderabad and the international client services are a disaster. They do everything possible to make your life and transactions impossible to difficult. Horrible bank. Don’t bank with ICICi. This is not based on a single event- I have tried to tolerate this service for years and have given up. Now I have trouble to even close my bank account. They force you send personal and sensitive information via email as their online submission sites are so poorly handled and have many glitches. Don’t do business with this bank

There's no way to contact a Surrey Branch

I was trying to make an inquiry about GIC accounts in Surrey, BC branch.
After dialing the number I pressed "4" as directed but the reply was "invalid entry" it also has "press pound" which I did and it was invalid entry again.
Dialed again and since there's no clear GIC entry on menu I tried to contact "student GIC". From there I pressed "2" but again invalid entry.
No "0" entry for customer service
I just don't understand how a BANK operates like it was some sort of corner store?

ICICI Homeloan

ICICI will provide Homeloan at a lower rate of interest and then shoot up the rate without any justification, while other banks dont do it. They are playing with the customers money. When asking for the reason, they will say its floating rate. Other banks also have a floating rate, but they dont do it. PLEASE DO NOT GO FOR HOMELOAN WITH ICICI

ICIC NRI customer service was sucha a…

ICIC NRI customer service was sucha a bad experience for me. It took me about 15 mins to get to speak to someone about my query and they hung up on me after asking 2 questions. I had to phone them back again and the same person picked up the phone and I couldn’t hear anything afterwards. This put me really down and irritated. SUCH A BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Bad experience I faced send from my NRO account to my overseas account INR 23500 I don't they kept in hold and its going 3days worst bank if it is INR 400000 maybe one year will take to credit to my account. Worst bank

Worst bank to have NRE/NRO account. Their service is very bad. I had lot of issues with them while opening NRE/NRO account. They took more than 2 months to open account after several visits to their branch. Had to escalate to their management to get account activated.

After sometime, I had issues with UPI payment option they have in their IMobile app. All ICICI banking staff speaks like a novice. I was using UPI payments to pay. Money was getting debited from my account but never credited to beneficiary. Their staff tried to confuse me in all ways without resolving the issue. I lost a few thousands and not sure what ICICI will do.

Public Complaint against ICICI Bank’s Negligence in Addressing a Mistaken Transaction |
I am writing this public post to bring attention to a distressing situation caused by ICICI Bank’s lack of support and inefficiency in resolving a crucial financial matter. On 17th July 2024, I mistakenly transferred Rs. 61,000 from my ICICI Bank savings account to an incorrect recipient due to an error in entering the account number. While I fully acknowledge that this was my mistake, I expected ICICI Bank, a reputable institution, to take swift action to assist me in reversing the transaction and recovering my hard-earned money.

However, the bank's handling of the issue has been nothing short of disappointing and frustrating:

1. Immediate Reporting: On the same day, I promptly contacted ICICI Bank’s IVR system to report the mistaken transaction.

2. Formal Communication: I followed up with a detailed email to the customer care department on 17th July 2024, providing all the necessary details, including the transaction reference ID and the incorrect recipient's account information.

3. Initial Assurances: I was assured by the bank that the issue would be resolved and that the transaction could be reversed.

4. Coordination with Other Bank: I took the initiative to contact the Branch Manager of Indian Overseas Bank (Palitana), who confirmed that a lien had been marked on the wrong account for the said amount.

Despite these proactive efforts on my part, ICICI Bank’s response has been lethargic, and I have yet to see any concrete action from their end:

I have received only automated emails from ICICI Bank, with no meaningful updates or communication about the status of my request.

While Indian Overseas Bank has been responsive and taken steps on their end, ICICI Bank has shown no urgency in facilitating communication with the other bank to resolve the issue.

Shockingly, I haven’t received a single courtesy call from ICICI Bank to inform me of any progress or advise me on next steps.

Additionally, Indian Overseas Bank has assured me that they are ready to resolve the matter if ICICI Bank’s NEFT/RTGS department sends them the necessary email. However, ICICI Bank has failed to take even this basic step, further delaying the resolution of my case.

It’s incredibly frustrating to witness how ICICI Bank bombards me with marketing calls for credit cards, insurance, and mutual funds, but when it comes to providing actual service in times of need, they are nowhere to be found. This experience raises serious concerns about their commitment to customers, as this is not a minor issue—it involves Rs. 61,000, a significant amount of my hard-earned money.

I feel deeply betrayed by an institution I once trusted, and this experience has shattered my faith in their claims of providing “high-quality service.” If ICICI Bank continues to ignore this issue, I will have no choice but to explore legal avenues to recover my money.

I urge potential customers and the public to reconsider their relationship with ICICI Bank. If such a well-documented case like mine can be neglected, what does it say about their dedication to customer service? I sincerely hope ICICI Bank takes immediate action to resolve this issue and avoid further damage to their reputation.
