I used to buy a lot of cds from them when based in Hong Kong but now that they ship from the USA prices have increased between 2 and 3 pounds for cd.Their prices are no more competitive and now I buy my cds from Amazon.

I ordered a record from WowHD's Australian web store on the 13th of June 2016, and I was notified of it's shipping the following day. Their shipping time (for the standard free shipping option) was advertised as 8 to 15 days international. The tracking number I received did not work anywhere that I tried it, well after the 24-48 hours they advise you to wait.

I hate waiting for a package with no idea of when it will arrive, so I contacted their support asking how to use the number. They evaded the question, not even addressing my query about it, giving me a generic response of when my item was shipped, asking me to wait a ludicrous 45 days(!) for delivery before requesting a replacement or refund. After that question dodging piece of communication, I concluded that it was a fake number.

After 15 business days (21 total) there was no sign of my record, so I filed a paypal claim, to which they responded with the same number. I checked it once again failing to get it working anywhere at all.

To my pleasant surprise, my record arrived today (6th July), and it turns out that the number they gave me was in fact the legitimate number of my package. The record was well packed in a thick cardboard sleeve and undamaged, appears to be legit stock and plays fine. The pricing was also the cheapest I could find anywhere.

WowHD, please improve your communication and be honest about the package numbers not having tracking (or if they do, tell us how the hell to use them!). You should also advertise your shipping times more realistically, mine took over 3 weeks to arrive, well past the maximum of 15 days. I do, however, praise your pricing and packaging, and given that it was free international shipping, the effective shipping time was still within reason, despite being late.

Potential buyers; I can only recommend you shop with WowHD if they're the only people who stock what you want, otherwise pay a bit extra to get it from somewhere with better service or get it used. I would also never shop with them without paypal for protection, due to their reputation.

I ordered a bunch of CDs on 11 April and got a confirmation email saying that most of my items had shipped the same day. I had paid for international shipping (8-15 days) but when none of my items arrived I contacted Wowhd only to be told I had to wait up to 45 days.

That wasn't what I had paid for but I thought ok, I'll give them a chance. At that point I hadn't read any of the reviews here which would have set off alarm bells.

It's now been well over 45 days and I still haven't received the items I paid for. I've contacted Wowhd several times and asked for a refund but they have failed to even respond.

It used to be a good company but now it's a bunch of thieves and liars. Avoid doing business with them at all costs.

Failed to deliver purchased goods and did not refund. I do not recommend WOWHD.

I preordered the Limited edition of Flume's new album, Skin on vinyl through WOWHD's Australian site. I had been very concerned with the reviews that precede my own however WOWHD were the only stockist that still had this album available. I had been charged immediately (as per usual for online shopping). They shipped it on the 27th May and sent me a confirmation email with a tracking number. I became more concerned when the hyperlinked tracking number took me to a google search, rather than a courier tracking site. I contacted Customer support who, after less than 24 hours, informed me that the tracking numbers did not in fact work and that orders could take up to 45 days to arrive.

The order finally arrived today, the 14th June, after 18 days. I am glad that WOWHD in fact followed through with my order. However my experience is one of many others, who have seemed to have had more issues. I would't label WOWHD as "criminal scammers" although it appears that they have gained a less than desirable reputation. They have a lot of work to do if they intend on redeeming themselves as a reputable business and online retailer. The first step would be to fix the issues with tracking numbers or have no tracking at all.

Finally received my dvd from wowhd.fr 34 days later and the dvd came from Belgium if you are waiting your order wait until 45 days after your order if it not arrive email wowhd to re ship our re fond.

Always deliver. Prompt notification. One of the best sellers.

I bought a cd off of cd wow on April 07 2016. After two weeks there was no sign of the cd. I email them and they replied by saying it was shipped the same day and that after 30 days I would get a refund if I didn't received item. So I waited and waited and 30 days had passed still no item and yet again I email them this time they said it was 45 days from shipment date, I sent them the email that they had sent saying it was 30 days. They replied saying their policy had changed from 30 days to 45 days. So I waited again day 45 arrived still no item, I email them but they have not responded to any of my email since the 22nd of May. I email them every day but no reply. What do I do now. They took my money but I never received my item to me that is stealing.

Looks now they changed! I received my order :D Will buy again soon

Like many others here, I ordered an item listed as in stock, which never arrived but was charged for immediately. First they claimed it was on back order; then they admitted that they couldn't supply it at all and said they'd cancelled my order. The item in question remained on sale, and showing as in stock, on their website, and they claimed by email that I had paid by credit card and that my card had never been charged. This was a lie - I had paid by PayPal and absolutely had been charged. When I emailed to point this out they became insulting and abusive. I raised a complaint with PayPal, and Wow HD continued to send me abusive emails while ignoring PayPal's contact about my claim. Eventually I telephoned PayPal customer service, who contacted Wow HD again to escalate the matter, and they finally coughed up. But the whole episode was needlessly unpleasant and as a company Wow HD are frankly a disgrace. I am now struggling to unsubscribe from their emails and website - needless to say they do not make this easy either. Avoid them at all costs - they're a bunch of crooks.

Customer service is a joke.
Ordered 5 cds and everytime I email them they just tell me to wait longer. Was sent a fake/invalid tracking number and when I asked they response was that they "are very aware the tracking numbers don't work."

Yet they continue to send them out to people??

Now I'm being told my order could take up to 45 business days, which works out to 9+ weeks and they won't do anything until that time passes...

Buy from anywhere but here.
They'll take your money and run and not give a damn afterwards.

Let me make this short: they take the order, take your money, and then don't care anymore. Only if you are very lucky, your order will arrive eventually after a long waiting period, usually it doesn't. They only react to your email if you send it at least 3 times, and even then, the answer ain't worth the time it takes to read it. Pleas take my advice: don't wast your money, i.e. shop at WOWHD.

I ordered three vinyls from wowHD about a month ago. After my order I noticed all the terrible reviews so didn't put much faith in receiving my purchases.

I was pleasantly surprised when they arrived in excellent condition, the record sleeves were pristine and well packaged.

The customer service was just ok in my experience, I made a mistake in my order and they were a little slow to respond so the mistake wasn't rectified prior to the items being despatched. However, the mistake was mine so I can't put the blame on them, only it would have been nice to get a faster response so that it could have been fixed.

I would order from them again, their prices are hard to beat.

I have ordered quite a number of CDs. In 2015 I bought a voucher of 300 Euro. By mid of the year the trouble with WowHD started and my last order was never delivered. I have waited several months to see if the new managements takes responsibility for the 'old WowHd' but nothing happened. I finally claimed the remaining value of my voucher which corresponds to a value of more than 150 Euro. Despite several e-mails no response at all. I will now file my complaint with the local authorities. Such a behavior needs to be prosecuted.

since some time they have started to send 2 or more cd´s in the same delivery and as they now ship from USA I have to pay an administrion fee, vat on that and vat on the value of the cd´s it´s VERY expensive. They don´t take responsibility for charges but they don´t tell that they ship from USA to Europe nor do they say that they ship cd´s together. Earlier I could buy 5-6 cd´s at time and everybody were sent seperately and without any fees.

The support just say that they don´t take responsibility for costs when their delivery enters another country.

So a big warning and stay away from them if you live outside of USA!

I also, don't know what the fuss is about. WOWHD were very professional with their service. My CD arrived on tim. In fact arrived earlier than was expected. Well done!😀

I was affected by the company's ownership change last year like other people, with a voucher on the old site not transferring to the new site. I eventually heard back from them on 1 December 2015 - they said they would honour the voucher if I placed a new order - they would refund the amount of the voucher on the new order. I placed a new order and received the new products with no problem, BUT they have simply stopped replying to my messages and I certainly haven't received the refund. Extremely dishonest company.

EDIT: After posting this review and sending a final email to the company letting them know I was going to file a complaint with a regulatory body, I finally received a response and my refund.

I had bought items from WOWHD until mid 2015. Then I ordered a couple of movies In June. I kept receiving email updates about delays in my order. I then contacted them after the new ownership. They replied with a generic message saying they are not responsible for any orders that were ordered before the date of their ownership started. And that I need to go to my creditcard provider to apply for a refund. My bank will not give me a refund for that, it's out of their hands.So now my orders & hundreds maybe thousands of other people's orders are in limbo. If they would honor all the orders then everyone would be happy. The items have all been paid for, so it is criminal to be withholding either the items or process a refund to everyone that requests it.

Ordered many cd's without any problem until 2015. In summer 2015 it started. Items ordered, payed but not delivered. Kept getting messages of delay and standard e-mails in reply to my complaints for half a year but never delivered.
