i ordered 2 times with wowhd and i have no problem with my 2 vinyls i ordered... came in following week from the order and i do trust this website, at first time i was scared cause of all these bad reviews. i gave them a 2nd chance and they are completely fine... i would order with them again with no worries

I have been trying to cancel an order on Wow-HD for over a week now. I still do not know why they can't have a 'cancel order' button like any other normal website?
I have filled in the 'cancel order' request on the contact us page eight times now, that's right - EIGHT times!!
Yet the order still sits there and I have no reply to my emails
I can't ring them as there is no phone number for them
Terrible customer service
I am now pursuing my money back via a PayPal dispute

Have no idea what all the negative reviews about. Ordered 6 LPs and they delivered an extra 6 of the same for some reason. Ordered from Singapore on the 28th April and it reached on the 4th of May definitely would buy from them again.

Poor customer service. Accidentally included incorrect shipping address. Contacted WOW HD upon receipt of confirmation asking to ship to correct address. Response was, no-can-do, and when the item ships 24 hours later it's to the incorrect address.

Highly recomended not to buy anything at WOWHD.

I didn't receive the item after 50 days of my bussiness. After several claims and wasted time, I received a full reimbursement, I think because the payment was through paypal. Otherwise, I'm afraid I'd been waiting still for it.

To be honest, it makes no sense. I don't see why they are doing bussiness in this way. Here it is a lot unhappy people due to a badly dreadful treatment.

In my opinion WOWHD must be face this and be more honest with the customers and only sell in USA or to close their business forever.

Trust in this words. This is not a fake...DON'T BUY ANYTHING TO THEM!!!

PS. I'll try to erase my user at the web page, but probable I'll have a lot of problems as well...

ordered a 4k blu ray over 30 days ago its not arrived contacted them and the keep saying refund refused and i have to wait 45 days before its considered lost! its been well over an acceptable amount of time for the item to arrive any other company would of refunded by now!!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!

I ordered two LPs 31/12/16 - I contacted them after about 20 days to see where the LPs were as I had been sent a shipping confirmation. They advised it would take up to 45 days. I contacted them 50 days later to see where they were and advise I was going to my bank to seek a charge back for non delivery. They said thanks for letting us know, no customer service no apology no update. I think this organisation is a scam I would urge people to stay clear. I now have to try to lodge a dispute with my bank in an attempt to be reimbursed for my money. They are an absolute disgrace with no customer service at all

I don't normally bother with reviews - but as I was searching on Google, I saw this site. I've ordered from them in the past and to be honest I had second thoughts. Anyway, I decided to go with my own experience and received the 3 items with no problem - as before.
It makes you wonder who is making these reviews - A global rival company trying to destroy all competition?

I ordered for 900,- Danish kr (127,- dollar) (Got an receipt)
But they took 900 USdollar from my account ! (6347,- Dkr)

No answer, No communication. No response, No refund.
The police, Nets and Paypal got me about half the amount back after half a year!

Thas what WOW is all about!! Stealing!

Wow is all I can say . Long story short they're a horrible bunch of people I had two failed deliveries contacted them and they ignored me , so I got their phone number ! I was blown away by their horrific attitude and passive aggressive manner !! Don't expect to get anywhere with them ! They don't respond to emails. Delete Facebook posts. They are living off the past reputation of cdwow and customers have no idea it's a different company .

I ordered 2 cds for my husband for Christmas on the 7th December, having had good speedy service from them in the past. I had an email from them stating that delivery would be in 8 to 15 days (just days, not working days), with a DHL tracking number. I tried to track the package later but it turned out the number was not a genuine DHL number as it was too short, so they lied about that.

I contacted them and was told I would only have a tracking number if I'd paid for expedited shipping, and now they said delivery time was 10 to 20 business days, possibly up to 45!

I then made the mistake of thinking that if I placed the order with Amazon I'd be able to return the Wow order for a refund when it finally arrived as it was too late for Christmas. It arrived yesterday, the 28th December.

BUT, they have informed me that the return address is in America, and they expect me to pay for the return postage, which will be more than the cost of the cds.

This is what they said; "We regret to inform you that any return would be at your expense. Furthermore you were not misled you simply did not read all the information provided before placing your order may this be a learning experience. In the future when dealing with any company read the shipping and delivery portion or if in a hurry to get order upgrade your shipping to expedite so it get there in a timely matter."

They supposedly have a UK based branch, but they don't appear to actually do anything as the order was sent from abroad.

Needless to say I won't be using them again! I was trying to support them rather than order from Amazon.

Order and payment in september, today it is december, no information, none products, so my conclusion is that it was a very stupid mistake of me to trust this company!

On occasion you can find some pretty good deals, they used to be much better, at one point they were my go to online store but recently I’ve started finding lower prices on Amazon and other online retailers.
Here is where my beef really starts with WOWHD, I have purchased from WOWHD.ca numerous times and they used to be really good about damages and returns, and I really appreciated that about them. I would always praise their customer service and was surprised when I read negative reviews about it. Recently I’ve found their customer service has begun to drop significantly and it has been enough that I feel an obligation to warn customers about it, which is something I rarely ever do.
A few months ago pre-ordered an item at an extremely low price but when it came time to ship they claimed that my payment information was entered incorrectly. I let that incident go because while I am usually extremely cautious about entering my correct information it certainly may have happened, and back then I did trust this retailer to be honest. I won’t lie though the thought did cross my mind that perhaps they had done this because they had seller’s remorse and had given me too good of a price since there was no way for me to check the information that I had entered.
Then just recently I received and item where the DVD case was very seriously damaged, to the point where it was no longer functional, and it was a specialty case so it was not something I could just go and pick up at the store. I asked for a refund, so that I could re-purchase it, never ask for a replacement because they will never send it and just cancel your order. The policy at WOWHD.ca clearly states that if you receive a damaged item they will accept the return and pay the return shipping cost. To my surprise when I emailed them they said the return shipping would be at my expense. When I asked for clarification they said that the disc works so they would not pay it. I do believe that the case, especially a specialty case, is part of the product I purchased and if it is damaged that it is the retailers, in this case WOW HD, responsibility to refund or replace it.
I thought I would share this experience so that new customers could make an informed decision prior to purchasing from WOW HD. And a side not about returns with WOW HD, keep your shipping receipts because they will ask to see a copy of it before reimbursing you your return shipping, and you will have returns I promise, they do not ship the products in anything close to secure packaging.
Also make sure to follow up with them on your returns as they will not automatically refund your money unless you send them a few email reminders about it, I’m pretty sure they are hoping you will forget about it and they won’t have to pay you back your money.

My wife ordered a video to be delivered in Ireland buut when the confirmation of the order came through it indicated an Australian address. Within minutes I emailed WOW.ie but they were unwilling to redirect delivery to our home address as requested on the online order form.
I really should have paid attention to the negative feedback on this blog site and ordered from a decent company
At best our experience with this company was one of intransigence
and at worst simply stupid.

A month later and I have been informed that it can take up to 45 days
for delivery and that the item is not traceable...............Wow!

Never never EVER again.

I've ordered 3 items from them and they have all been delivered promptly, safely and with no additional customs charges.

I was part of former clients too. And for years. My previous order was in March 2015 and I decided despite all the negative reviews to try trust them again the last month.

Well I was pleasantly surprised. First, orders are shipped from the United States as some have noticed, and for my part in Europe, it makes the delivery faster. The shipment was well packaged and delivered on time. No problem!

However, in case of bad experience in the future, I would not hesitate to update this review then lower the rating.

Nov. 22 update: I received my new purchase from Nov. 4th. I still have no complaints!

Pre-ordered ST:Beyond OST, on the day of release they email to say it's out of stock and wont be sending it. Yet, I preordered it weeks ago - why isn't priority given to pre-orders? Also, to rub salt into the wound, it was still showing as available on their website! I could have bought it then and there for immediate dispatch?! Useless. Emailed CS but never got a reply. Won't use again...
