Poor Support Team with inconsistent feedback

I had an issue to restore my website backup.

The Support Team helped me restore it 2 monthss ago.

When Today i tried to restore the same backup on the same server.A noob support asked to me buy a VPS server or dedicated server yet my plan has unlimited space.|

The level of inconsistency with the support team is the result of my poor review

Absolutely Pathetic service

Offlate, they have pathetic service. Their response takes minimum of 8 hours. Its not like we are free users, we are paid users with more than a decade old relationship. Any ticket raised, takes hours to resolve. They take hours to respond. Though they say they have 24 * 7 support, I can 1000% assure you that they dont.

Whenever you raise ticket, they would reply we are checking. After that there will be no response and after 7 - 8 hours, you will see somene responding its working fine. This is standard process followed by the support team. I think, they dont have any support staff any longer. Simplest of simple issue and most critical like today (their own ifastnet.com website not opening) is not resolved from past 6 hours.

I feel that they are no longer what they used to be. They probably have reduced in size / staff or something. Whatever it might be, but their quality has degraded from what it used to be.

Their servers are good but then without good service, whats the point in having good servers. These days every second day, their server fails and they expect us to wait for hours to fix it up.

Hi,

During last night our datacenters upstream provider NTT experience issues routing traffic to our facility from some country's / ISP's causing DNS queries to fail from some locations, this issue required NTT to update their routers configuration, unfortunately because this issue was beyond or control caused by a 3rd party, we were not able to fix it ourselves and had to wait for the uptream provider to complete a fix which was done earlier today.

All support tickets have and are replied to promptly, however today there was some delays in replies due to the volume of support questions raised due to this issue.

Web and Mail Hosting with iFastnet - My Story

I, recently, decided not to run my own Apache HTTP servers which were hosting my web sites and mail service. I wanted to find a hosting company that was economic and with good support where I could place my web sites and mail service, relieving me of the responsibility of uptime. I decided to give iFastnet a try and went ahead with a year's Premium service as a trial.

I have to report that the installation was a breeze, the web hosting and mail service is fine and equally as good as hosting on my own servers. The support is excellent. I read, here, that others are not so enthusiastic but, I can only comment on my personal experience, which has been par-excellent. I trust that this professional hosting company will continue to provide me with this level of service, as I intend to upgrade my services/package with iFastnet on the basis of the support to date.

Try cancelling a hosting that you no…

Try cancelling a hosting that you no longer need. They limp it in with your other sites so that you can not cancel payment. When asked to cancel, they say they have raised it to another tier and ignore you!!!!

I can confirm iFastNet allows individual hosting accounts to be cancelled at any time, we do not lock customers into renewing or any fixed amount of time, to cancel a service simply contact our support team and we will check you have your data backed up and verify your request by asking for an invoice number, and the service will be stopped.

Every support ticket is replied to and often within a few minutes.

I can only imagine there has been some kind of missunderstand that has made you write this review and hope I have cleared explained the facts about cancellation and how it works.

I ordered hosting for my personal needs…

I ordered hosting for my personal needs and so far i tried other hosting it wouldn't work. Googled and came upon iFastnet.com and to my surprise they were offering the best in prices and package for a year, thought to myself let me try them. Got the super premium package and added my domain which was hosted elsewhere and the system did everything within a short time. Received emails immediately in regard to my account. Bear in mind this was done on the weekend and to my surprise everything was activated, domain propagation etc within a short space of time. The CPanel is easy to use and all was set up emails etc and domain records. Every issue that i had was resolved immediately through their dedicated support online service. The hosting servers are really fast as my website response is top class. Will definitely move our company hosting to iFastnet for all our hosting needs. Just check them out you wont regret.

I've been using iFastNet for over +7…

I've been using iFastNet for over +7 years now, but I have very mixed feelings about it! Lots of downtime and feature issues. Support is decent, but not good enough! They often answer quickly and suddenly very slowly. Most support tickets won't be answered helpfully until you've provided enough information that you can almost solve it yourself!

Small summary of problems over a period of 6 months:
- 6% downtime.
- Problems with DNS
- cURL/file_get_contents or Unicoding suddenly stops working.
- Gmail SMTP support is blocked.
- Mixed support between fast and very slow.

I have no problems with iFastNet, but there is a lot of room for improvement, that's for sure! My opinion went from 4.5 to 2 stars. Which I regret to say because there is potential!

P.S: I'm waiting for Support Ticket #898689 to get answered...

Useless service and support

useless been using it since 2019, too much downtime just for running a simple website. Support replies are useless and they don't understand what the client is saying.

Terrible hosting

Terrible hosting, I do not recommend it at all, they canceled my hosting suddenly, causing serious reputational damage to my brand and leaving thousands of customers without service for 3 consecutive days, this generated very high economic losses and the worst thing is that No They offered me alternatives, I just had to move my website to another hosting provider, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT

We would never 'cancel' a hosting account. As with any web hosting service should your site breach our terms of service, or cause severe overload (ddos attacks, spamming, etc) then to protect other customers and our network we would take action and possibly suspend service if no other option was available, however never cancel a service.
