Very Happy
I have had my BMW 420i for one year now. Nothing has fallen off or broken which is good. Even though it was over 5 years old with almost 50,000 miles it was in exceptional condition and beautifully prepared. The art is selling quality used cars is the skill in sourcing and buying and Imola travel far and wide to get the very best cars. Imola offer a 3 month warrant but I opted to purchase a top of the range 2 year warranty from them at a discounted rate (although so far this has not been needed). As for paying a holding deposit before seeing the car, this is something I have done previously many times over the last 20 years as it is quite normal when searching for specific cars with high spec which are located considerable distance from one’s home. Also I initially changed my mind and Imola refund my deposit the next day. Highly recommended for specialised quality used cars.

I bought a Mk.6 Golf Cabriolet from Imola in December '22, and I found the entire experience to be lacking for nothing. I honestly couldn't have asked for more, and I left in my new car feeling thoroughly positive and reassured about the entire exchange.

They seem to nice but in my opinion once they have your money beware.

The proof is in the pudding
It’s now been 6 years since I purchased my 2014 BMW 330D M Sport Touring from Imola and I think it’s only fair I publish my extremely positive experience with both the service received and the car itself.
The buying experience is still fresh in my mind. There were two Tourings that I was interested in. Viv allowed me all the freedom to explore the immaculately detailed cars indoors in my own time and space and, despite the grim weather, was offered to test drive both.
Explanations of service history, vehicle checks etc were provided and I never felt like I was under any pressure.
Needless to say, I made my choice and it has proven to be the best car I’ve ever owned. No issues with the car whatsoever over the past 6 years. Just regular services and it still makes me as happy as the day I bought it.
It’s just a shame it will never again be as immaculately presented as it was on the day of collection!
When I eventually do decide it’s time for the next family wagon, I hope I will be able to find it at Imola.

Not convinced they check or service cars prior to sale…
I bought a 2018 Landrover Discovery last month from Imola, on finance with Motonovo.
Within 48 hours the vehicle had broken down twice and the service light came on. I initially got it in to a local diagnostic garage who said as soon as they plugged it into the computer over 60 error messages came up…. Not sure if it had been checked properly before sale, otherwise they probably would have know it had something wrong with it? Also no evidence it had been serviced except a fuel filter had been changed… that was the extent of its service I believe.
Eventually managed to get it into a main dealership (over a week’s wait), who said it needed a new engine!
Imola took the car back and gave me a full refund… unfortunately though, the finance marker for the vehicle has been left against my name, and so I can no longer get finance at 4.2% which I was offered at the end of March, but Motonovo and other lenders now only offer it at a minimum of 8.4% as I look like I take finance too often….. I also realized that the finance against the car I part exchanged with Imola had not been cleared down, so had to get that sorted too.
I have been told Motonovo will look into my predicament within three weeks of my complaint being registered, and it can take 8 weeks for the finance marker to be removed from my name…. So I now don’t have a car! I cannot afford to pay double the interest and be financially penalized for buying a faulty car. So until Motonovo sort out the situation I am without a car.
I believe if the car had been checked as comprehensively stated prior to sale I wouldn’t be in this predicament. Also when I mentioned only the fuel filter had been changed for the service, the response I got was “well what else do you think needs doing on a service?”

Perfect place to purchase a car

Brilliant communication from the very beginning- mostly spoke with Viv. Quick response to emails and never hard to get it touch with. Very accommodating. On collecting the car I was greeted straight away and was not made to feel uncomfortable, which I have experienced at some car dealerships. I purchased an Audi A1 which was in immaculate condition and I couldn’t be happier with the car. I would recommend to anyone.
