Frustrating experience and would not buy from again
Awful experience buying a laptop for a new starter. We were told to pay by bank transfer because they were 'upgrading systems and couldn't take card payments' (which at the time wasn't an issue as I hadn't read the reviews on here, but wish I had). Two weeks after making payment, the laptop hadn't been delivered and we'd had no communication so I followed up, only to be told that 1. I should have told them that payment had been made (why the accounts dept at Insight can't do this, I don't know!) 2. The laptop was now out of stock. I chose a different model and asked for expedited delivery, but to add insult to injury, it was then delivered to our company billing address (which is a virtual office) and not the delivery address I had given to Insight. On top of this fiasco, I then had to arrange my own courier to collect the package from the virtual office and take it to where it needed to be. The delays meant that our new starter was without a laptop for a week. Super frustrating. If you're looking for a stress free and efficient service, I'd go somewhere else.

Placed an order knowing they had 2 laptops we required in stock. I processed the order with the 2 laptops in stock only to get bumped out of line for them and someone else buying them. I now have to wait up to 3 weeks until they receive more. That's if they actually get them in stock. For all I know they will do it again and cause me more delays. Not impressed with their customer service what so ever. I'd suggest looking elsewhere if you need to order computers or IT Equipment.

OK I'm a freelance IT Pro. I buy Cisco equipment here for 7 - 8 years now. These people are merchants that deal with distributers meaning you can get stuff not normally available to the general public. However this mean it might take some time, I've had stuff take a day, some times a week. This is a business to business service and a good one at that. Thanks

I am so greatful to see all these poor reviews! I thought surely I cant be the only one to experience such a poor service. Asking for a direct bank transfer which is the same as taking cash is shocking in todays day and age. We all use credit or debit cards as they offer extra protection. I cant believe they are doing this. I would never use them again and I will be letting as many people know to not use them. They performed a vetting check before not returning my money. I dont remember agreeing to a vetting check to buy a tech product. Tescos let me wonder around their isles and buy what I want without being vetted! Uterly uselss company and they shouldnt be allowed to continue, they say its antifraud but it is stealing from those vulnerable people who do not know better.

Awful experience with this company. I ordered a new Intel processor for a new PC I was building for basic work purposes. Item showed as being in stock and creating an account and going through checkout was a breeze with email confirmation instant. 10 days later no product and money hadn't come out of my company account. I thought did I do something wrong but how could I when I had a confirmation email. Logged in to check what was happening to find they did not have stock and the item was on back order with an expected delivery date of about a week. So I waited 2 more weeks and no part, contacted customer service to cancel to be told item had already been shipped to me and would arrive in a few days. 9 Days later part arrived Nearly 5 weeks after placing my original order. I installed the part only to find it was faulty so I started the returns process only to be told that I had to send the part to Intel for proof it was faulty this was another ordeal completing intel's serial number process that doesn't recognize the product codes. At present I am 2 months from order have no working product and I am out of pocket for £££. My company will never use Insight again.
Zero stars - spectacularly bad.
We ordered 7 laptops for our school. Two of them were not working. They would not replace, only repair. Sent the first one off to be repaired, it came back in exactly the same state as when we sent them. They insisted that we sent them again. I will update this when they arrive.
Also if you buy anything from Insight UK be prepared to receive the most moronic cold calls you have ever heard. You are lucky if the person can string one coherent sentence together.

This company is HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do not normally speak out but I had to stop and write a review on this company. I ordered a printer on March 25, 2021 and was told it was on backorder okay no problem. Fast forward to July 1, 2021 no printer still on backorder, bank account for amount of printer put on hold (authorized) every few weeks. Can't reach anyone through the chat line and can't reach a live person until searching the 800# to go through several departments until someone answers. I reached a live person and still no help. I am told they will send an email to the orders department to cancel my order as my money still on hold. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM horrible company and horrible customer service.

Terrible services, actually inexistent. Spent 15 min on a 0844 number only to be told they can;t help and I need to send an email. I have sent the email and altought I have mentioned it was urgent, I had no reply for a week. I went on their website to book a call with a rep and I have successfully booked it but no call back on the specific date and time. Although I have received a notification 30 min before. There are many adds that they have gears in stock. I placed 2 order in the month of March. The expected delivery date was 15th March. I am writing this review after 2 months. Still they haven't shipped it. ETA changes everyday.

They cancelled my debit card order asking me to pay by bank transfer. This is DAYLIGHT FRAUD. They DO NOT HAVE ANY ITEMS IN STOCK. DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY BY BANK TRANSFER, you will have NO PROTECTION. It is going to stay in their bank account forever. After i sent them e-mail no way i will pay you by bank transfer, guess what? Not a single contact from them not ever!

I was scared to buy from Insight given the reviews here, I decided to give it a go to buy an expensive monitor for cheaper than everywhere else. I bought it and the next day was in my house, it was supposed to take 3 working days. Payed with my credit card with no problems.
