Frustrating Experience: Poor Order Cancellation Process and Unreasonable Return Postage
I had a very frustrating experience with this company and feel compelled to share it with others.
Last week, I placed an order, but upon receiving the credit card charge, I noticed the price was incorrect as the order was not charged in accordance with the free shipping offer for orders over £360. Within seconds of placing the order, I immediately called customer service and followed their advice to cancel the order and place a new one. I submitted the cancellation request as instructed and received confirmation that the order would be cancelled.
However, despite the confirmation, I received a package today containing items from the cancelled order, including the Metal Insulation Discs (Zinc Plated) x 35mm (Bag of 50). This was clearly an error in the cancellation process.
Although I was told I could return the items, I am required to pay for the return postage, which I find very disappointing. Given that the error occurred on your end during the cancellation process, it is only reasonable that you should cover the return costs, not me. The entire cancellation process was unnecessarily complicated and inconvenient, and the communication was poor. I am very dissatisfied with this shopping experience.
I hope this review helps others be cautious when dealing with this company. Their order cancellation process needs significant improvement, and their handling of return postage is unreasonable. The overall customer service experience was far from satisfactory.

First time order so was a little concerned about the speed of delivery and quality of the product. Very happy on both counts. The price is super even when you add on the delivery cost compared with my local suppliers. Would be very happy to order from them again.

Good quality, communication and price!
I ordered sheeps wool insulation for my loft. I4L were far cheaper than everywhere else I checked and their communication was brilliant throughout the whole process, including when I told them about my narrow street. My only negative is with the delivery company. I only recieved about an hours notice that my order was arriving 2 days earlier than I was told.

Good prices but delivery dissapointing
Good prices and delivery time, however delivery was dumped side of the house blocked the gate (dropped of Thursday without any warning, estimated day Friday) - then acknowledgement of the delivery came on Monday. Apart from that it was good, condition of products good too.

Pretty poor service
Pretty poor service. Placed an order online with a lead time of 3 - 5 working days. order was acknowledged then heard nothing more. Contacted then by email and phone on day 5 and was told they would look into it and call me back. Heard nothing by day 6 so rang again and was told the same. Again have heard nothing from them. Just had a call from a third party seller saying they will deliver in 2 days time. When asked why the delivery was so late they said the order had only been placed the day before (day 5) by Insulation4less. They still have not contacted me themselves to let me know. Communication is so important but it seems that customer service is not a priority for them.

NOT RELIABLE COMPANY, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, LATE DELIVERY AND EXTRA CHARGES
I bought some items on Wednesday the 9th and I should received the items in 3-5 days. After sending an email asking when the items would be delivered I was told some item were out of stock and I'll received them on the 18th (that would be 7 days after the order). The 18th came and nothing was delivered, I've email back the company on Friday 18th around 12pm and had no reply, no items were delivered and I had no message saying the order was late.
Today after I had to chase them again they said the lory can't access the property and they will have to charge me £60 + VAT otherwise the other will be late a few more days. I had a few deliveries from this company before and no issues about accessing the property, feel like they are using the opportunity to charge more money when I have no other option. The builder is waiting for those materials and it's already delaying the program on site. Will never buy from this company again and I strongly recommend you don't do if you don't want to have any delays on site.

Delivered late, broken, and wet.
Was not delivered on the promised day during checkout, but the next week instead. A couple of pieces arrived broken. Was transported in the rain and completely wet when it arrived.
AFTER REPLY:
As the items arrived late we did not have the luxury of time to go through your lengthy damage goods process. It already cost us more for installation on a different day. The way you guys transported this it is clear that any other items would probably have arrived damaged and wet too. And probably late again. Don't promise a date on your website if you can't honour it due to 'transport issues'. We all know that is just an excuse. You probably had no intention of meeting those dates anyway. You didn't respond to some of my emails either.
