Disaster averted

Disaster averted! Thomas and Flora were brilliant at working with me to resolve the nightmare of our chalet provider going out of business just before our holiday. On what must have been an extremely stressful day for them (as well as me!), they worked hard to provide alternative options and help me get the accommodation and flights re-booked - all within the space of 7 hours! Very grateful to them for their professional efforts!

Julie was really helpful

Julie was really helpful , it’s mind blowing trying to find a holiday to suit a large and varied group of people but the process of booking has been made a lot easier with Julie’s assistance .

Skiing again

Once again, I have used Flora from Interactive resorts, to search for a suitable ski holiday for our party. We're not easy to please, but she's done it once more.

A fantastic team

Always use Interactive for our complicated family ski trips with practically impossible criteria and Gary Cowen always comes up trumps for us. Nothing is too much trouble and even when we change our minds half way though ( which we always do) he just gets on with it to find what we want. I would happily recommend this company and it team.

Would book with Interactive again

I booked a holiday via Georgia Greenwood. I couldn't have wished for anyone more helpful. She found me relevant choices within my budget and spent the time contacting the chalet with any queries I had. Thank you Georgia!

Fantastic service when making a booking

I booked a ski holiday for 6 people with Claire Gardner. She was incredibly helpful, did things quickly and really well and made the whole booking process really simple. When I came back later to try to add another person to the party (very late in the day), Claire was brilliant again, finding the best solution she could. A very impressive service and I hope that the holiday is as good as the booking process.

Great service & competitive prices

We have booked through interactive resorts a few times. Emily has been brilliant she sorted out a very complicated group booking for nexut year and also out Christmas ski trip for our honeymoon. She’s been very patient and helpful.
I would definitely recommend them.

A fantastic service

A fantastic service. Gary has been brilliant! He has been so patient with our constantly changing group!! He has spent hours searching and giving me advice. He has also been very appreciative of our groups mix of adults, toddlers and babies! Thank you so so much. We are all very grateful!

Horrific lack of staff training or care

Jan 2019 package ski holiday with Interactive Resorts / SkiTotal / Esprit
(Note: no direct relationship/ contract with Flybe, the airline)

Summary:
- Horrific lack of staff training or care
- Zero apologies from multiple staff
- But still "paid out" in compensation
- So, almost hilariously: the worst of both worlds for their Interactive Resorts's shareholders (high costs for them to run; still awful customer experience)

Making people extremely angry when they've paid you £1,300 for a holiday that has never cost more than £850 with Ski World ... but then ending up paying them compensation (hired kit) anyway ... is perhaps the most stupid way to run a business of which I've ever heard

Detail:

- Flight was 45 mins late leaving
- Announced "good news" all baggage on board
- My snowboard and a friend's snowboard didn't arrive

Not great, but these things happen

- No proactive announcements at Chamberry airport
- Found first Interactive Resorts rep at the airport:
- No apology
- She made 2 comments:
- "It's a learning curve for me" (i.e. no idea what she's doing / no training)
- "Ah a snowboard, that's the problem. You should have been a skier. Ha ha!"
... Might have lightened the mood if (a) not incompetent, (b) any sign of an apology, (c) any ownership of the problem

- Told it wasn't Interactive Resorts's issue -- directed us to Flybe (staff excellently training and polite ... though no apology)

I doubt this is true contractually, but unfortunately I'm not a lawyer

- Found a second Interactive Resorts rep in Chamberry airport to make sure that the hire kit we expected as compensation
- No apology
- Hard to even attract his attention
- Lack of enthusiasm to solve the problem
- Told me it would be difficult to relay the message
- Scribbled it down on a scrap of paper

- Resort Rep driver asked about journey. Explained lost bags. Still no apology

- No communication from any Interactive Resorts staff about when our kit would arrive, until the evening of the second day, when they said they'd expect it the third day

And the piece de resistance ...

- After telling us Interactive Resorts would cover the hire / loan equipment (and giving our credit cards as deposits to the shop), the Chalet Manager (runs c. 2 chalets; separate from the Hosts; who were excellent) announced Interactive Resorts intended to charge us for the hire
- This message wasn't from him. It was from some cowardly boss, who never showed his/her face to us
- Needless to say we did not accept that

I normally snowboard in a group of 20. This year was a different 8 people
I would be surprised if any of either group (or any of their friends or families) ever use Interactive Resorts again
