Was a little jittery in all honesty about taking my XTrail to have it's front lower arm suspension bushes replaced by this garage.
I got a quote and they were £300 cheaper than thre main dealer and around £130 cheaper than the nearest rival.
I asked whose parts they were using and then booked the work to be done.
The whole experience from the quotation and booking in of the car tonthe completion of the work was excellent and will definitely use them again.Thank you the Kettering branch

My last service was done by the dealership at huge expense and this year I decided to try somewhere else and what a difference! Great communication, diagnosis of an issue I was having, quick correction of the problem, and a service, all without breaking the bank. I know where I will be going moving forward.

Been using the garage for many years, service and quality of work have always been exceptional. The garage is welcoming and modern and my 4 year old loves going to watch the cars and there is an area dedicated for kids too which makes it even better!

I’ve used this garage several times now for servicing, MOT and to fix brake issues on my BMW X3, and I can honestly say I’m extremely satisfied with the service.

I’ve come here to book MOT and service appointments as well as for brake pads installation, and every time the experience has been smooth and professional.

Everything has always been done on time, with clear communication throughout. The team at reception are particularly impressive. They have a deep understanding of what they’re doing and were able to explain everything far better than I could myself 😅

It’s rare to find a place where you feel confident your car is in good hands, but this is definitely one of them. Highly recommended.

Absolutely brilliant service from In Town Automotive! I’ve used the Northampton branch myself before for MOT and car service work and always had a great experience, so when I had a bit of an emergency recently, I popped into the Kettering branch for urgent car repairs.

They managed to fit me in last minute and Max was incredibly helpful in getting my car through its MOT, I couldn’t have asked for a smoother, more stress-free experience.

Between questionable life choices and a habit of owning too many cars, I’ve actually taken around 8 different vehicles to them over time, across a mix of brands, for everything from MOTs and servicing to general car repairs, and they’ve been consistently helpful every single time.

My family have also been using the Northampton branch for years for MOTs and servicing and have always spoken highly of them, and having now used both locations myself, I can completely see why they’re so well regarded for car service and repairs in both Northampton and Kettering.

Really impressed overall and I’ll definitely be coming back with my other cars.

We had some work done on our car on the 14th November, which included Tyre repair, reseal bead, this was the choice of the person who fixed it they said it would be fine, and didn't need a new tyre.
The car was sat for quite a few months with no use, due to personal circumstances, so had actually only done 1 journey
When we went to use the car again, which was 2 weeks ago the tyre was again flat, we pumped it up and it has since gone down again.
We called the garage to ask for this to be looked at, as we feel the work wasn't carried out correctly to begin with to be told no it would again be chargeable.
Very poor customer service, would not recommend them and certainly won't be using again

Took my car to Intown Automotive for an MOT — it failed, so I paid for all the repairs they said were needed. It then passed with just one advisory (a small chip in the windscreen).

Two weeks later, I returned after hearing grinding — the front brakes were metal on metal and needed replacing.

How can this happen with no advisories on the MOT? I’ve spoken with the DVSA and an investigation is now underway. Very disappointed — I was impressed at first, but clearly the brake pads were missed, putting me and my family at risk.

Have used in town for years and wouldn’t go anywhere else, competitive prices and always do a superb job!

We are so grateful to the team at In Town Automotive. They have been absolutely amazing through quite a challenging journey with our car (none of which is related to them). They have been honest and helpful from start to finish, going over and beyond to help. Max has been absolutely brilliant with his technical advice, we are really grateful to the engineers who worked tirelessly on the car and the lovely ladies on reception are always so helpful and welcoming - a big thank you to them all, we would highly recommend you!!!

Used to be a nice place but reception staff are now very rude and argumentative to the point of aggressive. Do not call you to let you know if your car passed its MOT or not. They just wait for you to do it once your agitated coz it’s taking so long and then tell you they don’t have time to fix the problems. Max is a very patronising and passive aggressive person. He speaks his words with a fake phoney smile all whilst insulting you to your face and hoping you don’t realise. I’ve never met anyone so unappealing. He even insults the mechanics who work there. Do not use. They are also not caring towards people with mental disabilities.

Absolutely awful! Got an MOT and took it back for repairs a month later and they told me my brakes were illegal - so clearly hadn't MOT'd properly. When they fixed the repair they damaged another part of my car which cost me thousands. Receptionist man was so rude on the phone. Got towed by the AA there and they tried to say no issue!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Have used the garage for many years and always found the experience brilliant. Recently had a service was kept up to date with what was going on work was completed at the time they advised, as always a happy customer!
