This is a rubbish company.

This is a rubbish company and I am amazed they are still in business. I ordered £20 worth of feeder ground bait and paid on 26th June. I was charged extra for 48hr delivery and was told, initially, that it was sent on 28th.
A week later I tried ringing - no reply - and so I sent a polite email - ignored.
I was then told that the order was sent on 8th July but only half of it turned up on 12th July.
The other half is due on Monday 15th / Thursday 18th - if it turns up!
If you are thinking of buying anything from this company I would strongly suggest you just throw the money out of your window!

Poor setup. Pretty useless

Order some bait with stock showing. Order simply cancelled after a number of days with money refunded. No reasons.
Used the email on their contact page to suggest this is poor customer service but email bounced because the domain invictaangling.co.uk couldn't be found.
Pretty useless generally

Avoid

Avoid! Like others ordered online and didn’t receive item or any communication from the vendor. Chased and told item lost in post and would resend - again nothing received. Chased again and told ‘boss on holiday and I’m extremely busy’. Ended up having to claim refund via PayPal with no apology from vendor. Wish I’d checked here or seen their feedback on eBay before ordering. This company should stick to being a shop for local anglers and give up trying to be an online retailer.

I ordered some Preston quick release…

I ordered some Preston quick release inserts on the 2/2/24, on the 9/2 I had not received the item so I rang,the person I spoke to was pleasant and said he would send another one out as the first was probably lost in the post.another week went bye and still no parcel rang again and was told Royal Mail had held their parcels for a security check!!!! still nothing a few days later so I rang PayPal, they started a dispute for a refund and 2 days later the refund was in my bank. I wished I had read the reviews before ordering but there you go once bitten twice shy as they say. this has got to be the worst angling shop I have ever done business with and I would recommend people stay away.

Fianaly got my items 19 days from order…

Fianaly got my items 19 days from order date. They said Royal mail had lost original 1st order. Contacted royal mail myself and they informed me they had never had these items. This has happened in other people reviews. Keep well away or you will be another dissatisfied customer. I have informed ebay and asked them to look into this matter. Rob

Minor Problems

Enquired about purchasing some boilies online. They were not in stock but was told they were placing an order and would get back to me when they had been received. 10 days go by with no contact so I rang the shop. Somebody else had dealt with the initial enquiry and that person would get back to me tomorrow. Five days go by and nobody has called. I don't have a problem with the item not being in stock but to leave me hanging waiting for goods that I needed is just bad customer service. I won't be going back to Invicta again and having just read some of the other reviews, I can see that I'm not the only one.
PS. It transpires that my telephone number was recorded incorrectly by Invicta and on contacting them again I was told that the goods were in stock and waiting to be sent out. Paid and goods arrived 6 days later (48 hour RM delivery). However, I had specifically asked for 10mm boilies and was sent 12mm!! Not the end of the world but disappointing nevertheless. Overall not an inspiring first purchase but I have upgraded my 'experience'.

Losers, Scammers INVICTA ANGLING...

My biggest mistake when making a purchase is not looking at reviews from other buyers about the seller... Many customers have not received their purchased items from INVICTA ANGLING, including me... A week after purchase it says the items are on hold...in other words they won't ship. I always buy and pay via paypal...therefore, there are no problems with unscrupulous machinators-sellers.In no way, do not deal with INVICTA ANGLING, you will be very disappointed, you did not receive service, goods...

Service is very poor

Service is very poor. I bought an item from this company on 04 June. On 10 June I chased the item up and got told it would be delivered on 13 June but still it didn’t arrive. On 14 June I called the shop and they said it had been posted and would give me a tracking number. I received the tracking number later that day which at first didn’t work. In the evening I tried it again and it worked stated that it had only been posted today and not 10 June like I was told. Let’s see if it turned up. Shocking service and lies.

Lies and bad service

Ordered on line - phoned a week later to chase - promise a call back within 1/2 an hour - didnt happen so called again later in the day to be told Royal Mail had 'lost' my order - they promised to send one straight away, but as I had the last one in stock originally I asked how this was possible - splutterring responses was we are getting a delivery tommorrow - advised not to bother and to refubd my money - was told they would do it immeadiately - guess what no refund
Dont touch these with a barge pole

Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking service. I ordered 3 items totalling £190 online on 24/03/21and had not received my items 3 weeks later. Called them and asked for an update to be told I would be emailed back . Guess what nothing ! Rang again to be told it had been lost in the post ( would be a big package) but had been re sent. Again nothing so called them again and asked for a refund . No problem I was told will be processed within 10 minutes.

Still waiting. I understand issues happen but really ??? No contact made from them. Carp fishing is an expensive hobby and I would have gladly used them as my go to supplier but for this

Extremely poor after sales service

Extremely poor after sales service, and advertise items that they do not have in stock! After ordering a nash prodding stick in may 2020 it arrived in August! And a part was missing. I rang them on numerous occasions and they did nothing! Be warned these guys are cowboys!

RUBBISH COMPANY

RUBBISH COMPANY, ordered a winter fishing suite online, money was taken but item did not arrive. Phoned them and told it would be with me in a couple of days.Still no item phoned again then told that they had no stock and issued me with a refund. I have just ordered a Wychwood walled unhooking mat online, again took money and low and behold two days later i recieved a email saying order refunded and hoped to see me again !
Just looked online and they are still listing the unhooking mat and stating in stock.
You wont see me again Invicta Angling, dont waste your time ordering from this company.

Should of read the reviews before…

Should of read the reviews before instead of after I ordered. What an absolutely shocking company. If you want to be sure of receiving your tackle, avoid this company like the plague. Ordered some boots from them, and after put the order thru, thought I would look the company up and check the reviews out... . Such bad reviews and now I know why. Anyway I phoned them up the following day and asked when boots will possibly arrive and was told by Weds the following week ( ordered Thurs and phoned Fri). Anyway Wed's came and by afternoon no delivery. Phoned them up the Wed's afternoon to be told that sorry they hadn't sent them and would get on to it and will be with you Friday... You've guessed it Friday came and no delivery by the afternoon so again phoned them and was told it must be Royal Mail... I asked for a tracking number whilst on phone with them and was told, " will look it up and email it to you".. .. Guess what ... No email ... So gave it till the Monday and when still no boots, sent PayPal a message to claim my money back... This got sent to Invicta Angling and I then received a full refund.
Anyone reading this review, please please take my advice .... Do not, again I say do not ever attempt a purchase from this company online.... Maybe different going into the shop.
I don't like leaving bad reviews but I got lied to constantly by this company, and don't want anyone else going thru what I did.... Plenty of brilliant angling shops out there. Definitely not this one.... Richard

Payment taken, goods not received. Unable to contact directly

Confirmation of web order received by email following a purchase of an item shown as in stock. Two weeks later, no further update on dispatch. No answer by telephone, email or the 'contact us' link on their website. Currently raising a dispute through PayPal to return the funds for goods not supplied.
