Avoid. Website offered £102 for my iPhone, promised same day payment, took 2 days to tell me it was scratched and only worth £50. It was NOT scratched. Now they want £6.99 to send it back but again won’t respond. Don’t deal with them

I wish I had seen this site - very bad company. Reduced my offer by 19% and said if I did not want to accept their offer, I was to pay £6.99 P&P.

one star is generous. They take months to answer the simplest of questions, still waiting for my phone to be returned after a pathetic offer of £30 (was originally £200)

iphonerecycling.co.uk trades as Ethicycle Ltd who's website shows an address as 365 Cowbridge Road East Cardiff CF51HE. The company lists the same company director as a sister company The Phone Home, which has the same trading address. I paid for a refurbished iPhone from them in September which has not been delivered. A Google Map Street View search revealed an image dated June 2018 showing those premises to be vacant and 'to let'. All my emails and phone calls to each company have been unsuccessful in contacting them.

Sent iphone 6 to music magpie who returned it to me because it was locked to icloud but they found it to be in excellent condition. But after I unlocked it their price had dropped so I sent to these clowns who took ages to get back to me and weeks later sent me a offer reduced from £106 to £50 and it took so long I accepted and told them I think they fraudulently get people's iPhones. Disgusting insulting fraudulent evil company please do not use I also kept pictures of my old phone in excellent condition

Sent my phone came back saying it was scratched and damaged so reduced offer. Have photos to prove phone was working and fine. Asked to send courier to collect nothing from the. Have reported to action fraud and sent a small claims court letter and will be proceeding with court papers toimorrow if no response

Oh how i wish i had seen this site before sending my iphone 6s, I sent my phone in perfect condition and surprise surprise it is apparently scratched and scuffed and now have a revised offer, or if i don't agree will apparently cost me 6.99 to get back even though there is no mention of this on website.sent email and now awaiting reply.

They'll take your phone and not pay you or respond to anything

This company is a fraud, do not use them, they have stolen 2 of my handsets. I have reported this to the police and Citizens Advise Bureau

Phone delivered on 5th October 2018 ( post office confirm ) NO Correspondance , no money , nothing 20 phone calls , 20 emails
Today 14th police have agreed investigation and I have a crime number

Police state that looking at all comments warrants investigation that a ‘fraud ‘ and potential theft has been committed

My phone was received Wednesday 3 October and we are now on Friday October 12 and money has still not been received despite the website saying payments are made same day. They do not respond to emails and when you try to phone them, are they not available. Would not recommended using this service.

Gave me a reduced rate that I didn't agree with but I still accepted. They had not paid for several days. I phoned the number on there website but no one answers. I then called the Sellmymobile.com price comparison sites as that who I found the price. They also own iphonerecycle. The money was paid that day. Good Luck

DO NOT USE - they steal your phone

Sent my new iPhone to them by special delivery thinking I’d be paid the same day as they received it, as their website claims. However nearly two weeks since they have received it, I’m still waiting to be paid.

I wish I had read the reviews before sending off my phone. I trusted them as they came up high on the search results on google.

They don’t answer calls or emails. They have essentially stolen my phone. I was selling the phone as I desperately need the money, and had been planning to pay off some debt with it.

They are crooks. Avoid at all costs. Dont be their next victim.

I will be reporting them to the police and informing google as they’re helping these thieves steal people’s phones

really wish i looked at this before i sent my phone to them, had my phone for nearly 2 weeks now and have just emailed to say they have reduced the price from £300 to £90 due to a few scratches which were disclosed on the form. been trying to ring them for 2 weeks but the number doesn't work and they don't reply to emails.

now waiting to get the phone returned, i have the IMEI number off my original handset so be interesting to see if they even send the same phone back because they haven't described mine! will be going to the police if not.

Awful company, may offer £10 more but has taken 2 weeks so far and now waiting to get my phone returned which i am having to pay for.

Worst company and change the agreed price but refuse to give reason.
This company agreed the price but kept the phone for over 5 days. They never paid out the same day as the website states, they then claimed they sent a email but never did and then said they were reducing the price from what was agreed. They would cut of the call ( that's if you can even get through them to them ) when asked to speak to a manager, They refused to send the engineers report and the pics of alleged damage to the phone, knowing I had pictures already of the condition before sending the phone. From how they are talking, they expect the phone to be brand new with nothing on it despite being 2 yrs old. The phone has been in a case all its life.

Offered of £260 for 128gb iPhone 7, then only responded after I emailed a week later offering me a revised offer of £150 due to wear and tear , I know then phone was in very good condition . Offering the top money defiantly is a tactic that these companies use to get you to send your phones in so the can then give a revised offer hoping you will be suckered into parting for Less . Terrible company
